But I couldn't put 3-6 hours a day into it anymore so I knew I just had to stop completely or I'd get angry. It is the most difficult FPS with by far the highest skill cap I have seen and I have been FPS'ing since Doom/Heretic.
K1llsen is one of the best, thats why he's in all the videos. he's pretty much permanently in the finals, so he's always there when the best frags arrive.

I dislike strenx on a personal level, because he seems very arrogant. But he is great as a player both aim-wise and plays very smart. This movie to me is more of a tribute to quake itself - showing it at its best. It captures the spirit of quake in all the crazy moments and is why we love the game and play it for over 12 years

My gripe is against the esports "industry" (I guess we can call it that now), not giving enough credit to real games and catering to flashy games with console usability. As I said, I'm a geek but I will enjoy a best of 5 rapha versus strenx more than the champions league or superbowl, because well, let's face it, it is more interesting

The only reason you're not as good at QC is because you actually don't like the game. If you loved QC, you'd be a beast at it. But your nostalgia of QL and frustration of QC prevents you from being at your maximum potential. I hope as QC will get better over time, you'll get to like it more, and mostlikely become great again!

you do realize it's because wolfcam (the recording tool used for QL) runs off the original Q3A engine and not the QL one right?
