30 years ago this would be a serious contender for Vocal Event of the Year. Nowadays we can just be happy to enjoy the wonderful music they're still making (sadly, without any mainstream radio airplay)

I am going to dedicate, and record this beautiful song to my wonderful wife of 20 years. I feel Blessed to have her, and be able to record this in my own voice, on my equipment . I am 77 1/2 years old and have been singing for over 30 of those. I have been blessed with an ability to reasonably duplicate the sounds of various artists over the years, including Gene. I dedicated " Farewell" party to my Late friend Roger. I don't know how much longer I have on this earth, so I think this would be a lasting tribute to my devotion to my loving wife.
