No one could have pulled this off as perfectly as Alan Jackson has. What a tribute to George Jones. Jackson is the best - they don't make country singers like him any longer. I've seen his twice at our state fair, and he's the greatest performer ever. Love this guy.

Wish he would help the younger singers...show them the way. They are it for the next 30 years.

No they dont I dont like any of the new country these days!. I seen Alan at the ohio state fair years ago!, hes awsome!. The best show I ever went to was George Jones, Vern Gosden, and Conway Twitty!.

@@steveashworth6707 I was lucky enough to see George Jones in person too, many years ago. For the first time in a public setting he sang the song "Choices" to this audience. We were silently both stunned and awed by this beautiful song, that pretty much told the story of George's "drinking" life. I'm so glad his last wife turned his life around, so we could have this talented singer many years longer.

I couldn't imagine the immense heart ache you must feel. When i was a young i would visit my elderly neighbours almost daily. When Alan (I know, big coincidence) passed away, his wife, Alice would play this song very often and when i heard it, i would go over to keep her company. I would always switch the song for a more happy Alan Jackson song like It's "5 OClock Somewhere" or "Little Bitty" to cheer her up a bit. She passed away about a year later from what i can only imagine to be a broken heart. Still miss them both very much though it's been over 15 years since they both passed.

The same man that sung George Jones’ “Choices” when the jerks in charge of air time told Jones to cut the song short. Alan Jackson was top of the charts at the time so he was allowed to sing for as long as he wanted. He stopped his own song halfway through to sing Choices and left the stage immediately after.
