Thank you so much for your 2 tutorials. These should be the official tutorials as they are truly made for the beginner as it covers the 4.27 installation process well. omniverse is not that easy to navigate at first glance as there is so much there. and even within each app, quite a bit has to be sorted before things can run smoothly. I was wondering if you happen to know how to make this work on UE5 ? my main scenes are there. any suggestions are welcomed :)
Glad that they are helpful. NVIDIA has a couple of tutorials on Audio2Face and Omniverse in their On-demand section. Link1: www.nvidia.com/en-us/on-demand/playlist/playList-538c1732-24d7-4e9e-a7c7-df8585b05e30/ Link2: www.nvidia.com/en-us/on-demand/search/?facet.mimetype[]=event%20session&layout=list&page=1&q=Omniverse&sort=date The first link is for Audio2Face tutorials, and the second one is for all the video tutorials they have on Omniverse. I have yet to try it on UE5. I didn't start the process as there was no plugin available for the Omniverse to UE5 pipeline. I will let you know if I find out something.
@@bakedmystic3D thanks for sharing those links. i will check them out for sure. I have seen some of the nvidia ones before stumbling on yours, which resonated best with me :) I am still sorting the best workflow out. 3 versions of UE has literally zapped my hard disk drives and omniverse made this worse. my mistake was to install on C DRIVE and tried to re-install it with no avail...but reading the forums about the errors that come with this uninstallation process, i decided to leave it for now as audio2face > 427 working right is most important to me :)
If you are struggling with UE size in disk, then the following video from William Faucher works wonders. Link: ruclips.net/video/uWOjyxjA5Gg/видео.html
@@bakedmystic3D I did already install them this way but thanks for the link as his was another channel i checked out when i started learning UE ;) nothing much i can do now except keeping a close watch on disk spaces especially c drive. looking forward to more videos :) all the best for 2022 :)
I am not sure how the live link animation will apply directly on top of lip sync from omniverse. But, if I had to try, I would probably convert the live link animation into facial rig keyframes on another sequencer file, and then copy the keyframes to the lip sync sequencer as an additive layer.
I think it would also be good to familiarize with all the controls with the rig a bit more before attempting to animate. Feeding_Wolves gives a great outline here: ruclips.net/video/Ca5jNZu1-3I/видео.html Also looks like this does work with UE5 now although the tutorial still shows UE4
Which program are you trying to retarget the animation to? The previous video in my channel shows you how to do that for Metahuman. For others, you can check the NVIDIA Omniverse documentation website
Take a look at the videos on "Character Transfer" in this website: www.nvidia.com/en-us/on-demand/playlist/playList-538c1732-24d7-4e9e-a7c7-df8585b05e30/ If you have the link to the specific facial mesh you are using in blender, I can try it and maybe make a video on it.
@@bakedmystic3D sorry bro i didn't mention this before I have some motion capture and I am trying to retargate it to mixamo rig but there is lots of errors and mis placement of the mixamo rig
Thanks a lot

Hey. How could I use Live Link to animate the face after the lip sync is done from omniverse. I've been searching for the answer forever
