Cool! If you've ever played DTG train simulator 2019 you may know that a new Southampton to Bournemouth route was released a few days ago and it's STUNNING
Brilliant video at a cracking South Coast station. As you say it was excellent seeing GWR services calling there. Here is an awesome idea. My dream would be to see a class 68 in the classic steam era Pullman livery now that would be jaw dropping. Keep safe, regards Gary.
Thanks very much Gary, I love coming here it's always a great station to come to as there is always so much traffic coming and going, if you get here at the right time you will actually get a fair amount of freight coming through heading for the docks. I would love to see a 68 in the Pullman livery it would look amazing!!
Wonderful film jarred, really excited about the start of the SWML series, thoroughly enjoyed watching, keep up the good work and a thumbs up from me as always
Fantastic video mate, found you by chance funnily enough while looking at another train video. You sir have earned another subscriber, keep up the great vids
Cracking video! At some point you’re going to have to film the London-Windsor tour hauled by 61306 Mayflower, that would be great. Keep up the good work 👍
'Cracking video' indeed! Many thanks. At 13:29 I don't imagine Southwestern run many trains terminating at Romsey. Presumably someone boarding at Southampton Airport would expect decent connections to Salisbury and beyond?
Thanks very much for saying so it is greatly appreciated, you'll be surprised at the destinations that a lot of these companies go to, I'm thinking that for trains going to the airport there should be decent connections to outlying stations
I know Southampton Central was never a rail enthusiast's honeypot, but how I miss the 33s and 47s in these days of units and nothing else, both of which were common at the station, along with proper rolling stock in the form of MkI and MkII coaches.
Bomb damage wasn't that bad all things considered, no lives lost and minor damage at most, thankfully. At least they got a remodel and improvements made. Great bit of history bruv! Once again, a pure joy of sound. Love the SWR (Mad Max Style) Livery, really sweet. Overall just a nice film with non-stop flow. Thanks Tor! P.S. I can't lie, I hit the KFC and the Rum Shop after this, damn those Adverts ;} B.P.
This is a great little station to go to as there is always a constant flow of traffic coming and going and the various liveries will always keep people on the go :) I hope KFC give me some royalties for the free advertising ;)
Very nice video Tornado 922. Loved every second of it. Where will you be for your next few videos? Oh and can you do a rush hour at Alexander palace if you can. 👍
thanks very much, I have started my SWML series now which means for the next few months you are going to purely see films coming out from the SWML as I work my way from Southampton to London Waterloo. The only time you will see films coming out from different stations will be when I do my rush hour films. I can certainly look at doing a rush hour film from Alexandra Palace
I saw your video at Preston and again thank you for staying near the pacers great job. I don't know if I misheard you but at the end of the video did you go from Preston to Glasgow central? if so it must be me getting too excited seeing all those lovely pacers I cannot find the video for Glasgow. Anyway, keep up the great work. T.T.P.F.
I had intended to go to Glasgow the following weekend but sadly I had to put those plans on hold and will be on hold until I get my current mainline series filmed. Once I have done that then I will be going up to Glasgow. So don't worry that you cant find it. I haven't filmed it yet
Southampton sounds Gorgeous.
