Spot on Ana… Displaying wounds publicly makes them more difficult to heal…
For some people
Not for everyone. For me it was the last step in my healing and helped me tremendously. I am free of the things that happened to me and making it public (especially as a person who has a family that had a “public image” to worry about ) was the thing that made the difference. His family has even more of a public image to uphold which is why I’m sure he feels this is necessary.
Not for everyone, for some speaking out about your pain can be healing for some, for me when I spoke out about my pain that’s when I began to heal, now my pain has become a testimony.
I don’t totally agree with that statement
I agree completely because once they've been able to heal from said thing alot of people will continue to bring it back to light because they chose for everyone to hear it. And hearing something that has hurt you in your past constantly is going to continue reopening that wound.

I'm 36 and I've tried to patch my relationship with family members and at 36 it still hasn't worked, so I left them alone.
Leaving it alone is better than airing it out to other people (excludes counselling). Because others who were not there would treat your family negativity when they already have enough on their plate and are going through pains themselves.
Harry really needs to understand, he's version of events aired out says more about him and how he handles hard situations.

For example, he’s now saying that the comment about Archie’s skin color wasn’t as big of a deal as people are making it out to be but Oprah gave him and Meghan multiple opportunities to clarify that in the interview and they refused. He’s basically doing the same thing to his family that he claims they did to him.

Telling your truth vs. monetizing your family drama revealing their most intimate details are two entirely different things. Telling your truth is something you should do face to face with the persons involved, NOT publicly, and certainly not for money!

It wouldn’t affect his earning at all. I personally have no idea what a duke means. And there are dozens of dukes and earls none of whom will ever receive a book deal because nobody cares about them. His fame is established and it isn’t going anywhere.

Sunny is biased in her view. How will Sunny feel if one day one of her children put out all the families private conversations and thoughts along with making some stuff up that might not have happened. Because Harry said they never said anyone in the royal family was raciest regarding asking about Archie and what color he would be. So Harry keeps changing his story because Meghan did imply that was raciest. They had 2 years to clear up that story but they didn't. So when Harry tells his truth but then changes the story it is hard to tell if this is truth or untruths. When you betray people closest to you then you deal with the outcome. If I had a family member tell private conversations to the public I wouldn't have any more private conversations with them and who of would.

It could be their secretaries did it on their own. What about Meghan lets her friends leaked stories People magazine and other news about her father? I don't like that Harry had to go public and then wants to be closer to the family. If they feel attacked, they are not going to be open to get closer again. This should have been handled in private. He wrote the book to get fame and money, that is it. Now he wants everyone to forget the secrets he spilled and move on? If I was his family, I would be pissed, even if he is right in some of the complaints, but not everyone has to know what goes on in the family. Private should stay private.

He did attempt to handle privately and the family and or their offices leaked their discussions so maybe the offices should have kept it quiet to keep power within the heirs.

I would never do that to my family. you sort out your issues with your therapist or close friends and you deal with your family as they are and to the extent you are comfortable.

I think Sara and Sunny were both extremely empathetic, just in different ways. I tend to agree more with Sunny on this point, but that’s because of my own lives experiences and what it’s taught me. But I absolutely see Sara’s point of view as well. They aren’t actually all that different honestly.

Sunny really needs to understand the concept of lying. 'His truth' may not be the best representation of the actual truth. I disagree with this being a healing thing. Just because you have "your truth" doesnt mean going out and putting a tell all book is going to end the pain. Harry is lashing out. He is taking everyone down and what he knows is that no one will fight back because of their stance as a royal. I'm just glad his grandmother passed away so she would not have to see her family broken anymore than it already was. I don't see a reconcilation. Ever. The problem with this situation is that would Willi, Kate, Charles or Camilla ever trust they were not recording a conversation to be used against them at this time.

I know for fact, Harry is on a path of healing.
Certain language he uses, therapies and holistic medicine he has mentioned, are commonly used in holistic practices.
If he can heal and make money at the same time, great! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Ultimately, it is his story to tell.
It doesn’t matter if anyone believes him or not.
The important thing to remember here, is that he believes it!
Harry’s opinions in life, will be based on his belief system.
Every single person in this world has their own perception of life, based on their own individualized experiences and family upbringing.
So technically, no one is more qualified than Harry, to describe his life events that have contributed to the man he is now.
His trauma is real.
His PTSD is real……
And I find it to be really sad that, many of these news outlets continue to sensationalize his story, with toxic analysis, by taking his words out of context ect..
And still continue to make loads of money off him.
They have always made money off him by twisting and altering the truth.
They know their days of false propaganda are numbered now, because we have a first hand source (Harry) who can school the public on The Royal Family based off his life and what he experienced being apart of that institution.
Why do we have to beleive that Harrys is the complete truth? Sunny is like Oprah and Gayle, they just dont look at things objectively. He wants his family to apologize, both sides would need to apologize. If everyone has theyre own truth, that means that there are no lies. So that means that if a wall is painted green and someone says is blue, so thats theyre truth. So thats it! We can all look at things as we wish.
If you watch his interview on 60 minutes, he openely said tgat he would like to apologize if there is something he has done wrong, but the royal family does nit want to sit down with him , instead they leak his conversation and feed tabloids with lies about him or Meghan
You don’t have to believe him. I don’t think he’s asking anyone to believe him. BUT there is something to say about 1000s of articles and books of other people telling you his story. So hearing it from HIS own mouth is his way of dealing with it. Again you don’t have to believe it.

I wouldn't trust Harry or Megan, when it comes to personal information within the family. It is akin to having a family member blab all the family details have a falling out with the "ENTIRE" family, then want a relationship again, while still bad mouthing them. If there is ever a relationship that trust is broken and anything serious would not be shared with the person.

He could have taken things out of context or even went into those meeting with his mind already made up. Why does it matter that they are not your ordinary family? Family isn't constituted by the means of wealth, royal, or celebrity. Families deal with things period no matter who you are. No one really knows his approach to his family because the only thing you get from the royals are from sources never directly from them with the exception of King Charles publicly telling about his infidelity. But he should be able to speak his truth when he knows he's been done wrong.

Sara is totally on point. Healing needs to happen and issues need to be resolved in private before speaking about in public whilst hot. I think Sarah summarized Patty Davis' sentiment really well. I also think your intention makes the difference in how or when you speak your truth. If, as he says, he wants the healing, I agree that you work on that healing and then tell the story. Healing is a hard and messy process. Adding this type of light and publicity to the equation can make the healing even more difficult. Further to Sarah's point, my truth is not always THE truth.

Here's the issue with healing: how can Harry heal when his family refuses to acknowledge that their behavior affects Harry negatively. Does not the royal family have some responsibility in any of this. Does only Harry need therapy or does the entire family need therapy!?! That Charles cut his son and DIL off and refused to pay their expenses while working for the family is a travesty. This is saying to Harry neither he nor his wife is welcome! Likewise, the "slimmed down" monarchy where only the King and Wales are present is a joke! The public wants to see the whole family at Trooping and not just three tired kids!
Healing is one thing but how or where is there specific instructions on how to heal? If he's gone to this family in private as he stated and we don't know that to be 100% true because we aren't there, then why is so problematic that he's decided to tell his story. There are times that healing can come through the people whom you say has hurt you see you telling your story of how and what each person did to cause your pain. Maybe as they watch you and they know what they did that caused that pain they will admit to themselves and then reach out to you. Healing doesn't always or is always done in private.

I just know from my experience when you back someone in the corner they tend to respond with defense, not truth or understanding or a spirit reconciliation. One can heal individually without reconciling with the family and if it doesn't matter to you if the other people are part of the process (and that is okay too) then it doesn't matter how or when you tell your side. But if you really want to have all-around healing, I feel like you have to give consideration to your approach.
Alyssa is really well spoken on the issue. Harry came from a " a silver spoon" upbringing and has way more than most people in the world. I feel he should be a man and shut up and know that he should not put it out there. I also feel this escalated to this tell all with the media and Netflix and Oprah after he got with Megan who seems to cause drama and hate where ever she lands. Harry was protected his whole life.. All the trouble he got into was brushed under carpets as much as possible. He expected the palace to do the same for his, at the time 36-38 year old wife's bad behavior and it didn't .(Well it did as far as keeping the bullying accusations from going public.) I hear what Patti is saying, but Harry said, in his interview with Anderson Cooper, that he's tried to have these conversations with his family privately. However, his family would then leak things publicly via the British press and twist it to make he and Meghan look bad. So now he's telling his own story. Personally I agree with what he and Meghan are doing. So many people who don't know them are telling the "Harry & Meghan story" and profiting from it. Why can't they tell their own story and make money off of it? Also, in the case of Ronald Regan's daughter, she said she regrets writing the book because of conversations she had and healing she was able to do after the book was published, but here's what I'm curious about: would those same conversations been had, had she not published the book? And therefore, would healing and restoration come about?
Harry didn't even visit his grandmother when she was sick in Balmoral (I'm talking months before she died on Sept 8th - she invited him and his family up for the summer). We can choose to believe his truth as gospel, but I don't. He and Meghan are self-perpetuating victims, and the worst part is they charge hundreds of millions of dollars for all this "healing". They certainly aren't doing it for free. They blame everyone else but they should look in the mirror as they've both isolated all of their family and most friends.

Or your own sister. how would you react if your sibling wrote a book about you and things you did in private, without talking to you about it, and then have that book translated into 16 languages and sold in multiple countries along with your sibling having recorded themselves reading it for audiobook format, and your sibling talking about you in 4 different interviews without talking to you about that either? How would you feel watching them on TV talking about their trauma at their mother's death 25 years ago... If you also lost that same mother 25 years ago? Just how would you feel?
If my brother genuinely felt that wronged by me then he's welcome to do all of the above tbh. Being related by blood doesn't mean you owe someone loyalty. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but clearly it wasn't always sunshine and rainbows between Harry and Will or we wouldn't be here now. I have extended family who have done some genuinely horrible things, and I have no problem telling people that that part of my family is awful. If that part of my family hates me for it, I don't take that to mean that I was wrong to tell people.
I’d feel fd off and ready to rumbled their sad a*** out for talking trash about my family. Migraine is use to stranded family relations and wants Harry to have the same. Misery loves company.
@@samanthaw4955 I just think it's funny that people inherently assume the monarchy is telling the truth when the monarchy is an antiquated system that perpetuates wealth inequality. Even if I were to believe that Meghan Markle is as manipulative as people say, all she did was get Harry to realize that the monarchy is an outdated institution that cares more about appearances than people. I already thought that long before Meghan Markle came in the picture, so I think she just showed him reality lol.
I would feel I should have addressed any issues with my brother before he wrote a book and did interviews 🤷♀️
@@reminded also just consider: meghan completely cut off her father for the reason that he went to the media and did a photo shoot with them. He didn't even say anything to the media about his daughter, and yet she already cut him off. Now, here is her husband Harry going to the media with 16language audio book, Netflix, interviews, book containing text exchanges with Kate, etc etc... And yet meghan cut off her own dad just for a photoshoot of himself.
What happened to research? Nobody notices that half of what he said in those interviews contradict what they said in the last 2 years. He takes no responsibility for his actions and pretends his wife is his mother while someone else's mouth asks questions that have obviously been approved by Harry. Then you have them saying Buckingham Palace won't comment like their out to get him, but who comments on an interview you haven't seen. I dk at this point if I'm more upset by harry or the fact that the press doesn't actually investigate or work independently......same women who cried bloody murder cause meghan said you arent allowed to see a therapist but harry has been in therapy for years and years he said. Also 60 minutes totally paid him for that interview
