My mom died when I was 43 and even though I was intricately involved in her funeral arrangements, for an entire year I thought she would return. I struggled to accept the fact that she was gone. I can't imagine the loneliness and emptiness Harry felt at 12 years old. Grief effects everyone differently, and crying should never be the litmus test to prove your depth of sorrow caused by the loss of a loved one.
How many of the children in your area that have lost a parent or both or maybe the whole family do you stop and think how they feel. Have you reached out to help in any way to ease their pain. Of course not because they don’t have Prince in front of their names. William is the forgotten son in this fiasco that Harry has created. I was 40 when my mom died (she was 73) and she was 15 when her mom died. So she struggled with that as far back as I can remember, probably my teens. I often remind myself to be grateful that I had her for as long as I did. The reality of her death hit me when I visited the cemetery for the first time. Seeing her headstone made it all so real and wow, she really was gone. Just before her last breath she opened her eyes and smiled. A couple weeks later I realized that smile was because she saw her mom for the first time in almost 60 years.

My children lost their father at 5,7,9. They also never cried. I took them to therapy and they refused to discuss. Kids just deal with the survival of the situation at that age. To this day I have a part of me believes that he will call me out of the blue or come into my front door . I still can’t believe that he is really gone . He had a second wife who wouldn’t allow us access to see him and she kept all of his things so we never had a chance to process his death . When my dear sister died 7 years ago, I spent one day sobbing my heart out and have never cried about her since. We were as close as two sisters could be and she’s in my thoughts always.

I just want to point out not everyone cries when they are mourning, we all handle grief differently. I am the biggest cry baby you will ever meet but I don't cry when I mourn, I tend to accept death quite easy and I find peace in death so I don't tend to cry.
I witnessed grieving in all forms when working in hospice. Lashing out, threatening, and defying support systems/staff usually caught us off guard, but was definitely a real thing amongst survivors and patients.
He didn’t cry but I’m sure he was the one who suffered the most that lost. A psychologist friend of mine told me people that don’t cry and don’t relieve those kinds of emotions at the end they end up suffering more. I’m sure he has a lot to heal. And is so sad that his family is not supportive at all!
I think because they didn't let him see her body it made his grieving so much harder. Sometimes I still can't believe my mom is gone, that I can't just go call or visit her. I can think back to being with her seeing her at final rest was the start of accepting it and having some kind of closure. It's so complex and people are so unkind in the way that they demand people to not acknowledge or feel their feelings.

I was 12 when my beloved Father passed away and I did see his body in the casket, but even still, I did not believe he was gone, I believed he was alive and he was coming home and I would see him in different places walking around. I guess that was my survival mechanism. My heart was saddened by the grief on Princess Anne's face and how dignified she kept at her mother's funeral especially in Scotland...
My mom died when I was 43 and even though I was intricately involved in her funeral arrangements, for an entire year I thought she would return. I struggled to accept the fact that she was gone. I can't imagine the loneliness and emptiness Harry felt at 12 years old. Grief effects everyone differently, and crying should never be the litmus test to prove your depth of sorrow caused by the loss of a loved one.
How many of the children in your area that have lost a parent or both or maybe the whole family do you stop and think how they feel. Have you reached out to help in any way to ease their pain. I was 40 when my mom died (she was 73) and she was 15 when her mom died. So she struggled with that as far back as I can remember, probably my teens. I often remind myself to be grateful that I had her for as long as I did. The reality of her death hit me when I visited the cemetery for the first time. I just want to point out not everyone cries when they are mourning, we all handle grief differently.
I am the biggest cry baby you will ever meet but I don't cry when I mourn, I tend to accept death quite easy and I find peace in death so I don't tend to cry.
I witnessed grieving in all forms when working in hospice. Lashing out, threatening, and defying support systems/staff usually caught us off guard, but was definitely a real thing amongst survivors and patients.
When I cry, it's for my loss, not their passing. I too find no fear in death.

I think because they didn't let him see her body it made his grieving so much harder. Sometimes I still can't believe my mom is gone, that I can't just go call or visit her. I can think back to being with her seeing her at final rest was the start of accepting it and having some kind of closure. I remember crying all the time for him my whole teen years, I never got therapy, we were poor, back in the day if you didn’t have money, you couldn’t get help like now. people don’t care what your going through, that’s why I can understand Harry thinking his beloved Mom was in hiding and believed she was coming back for him 😢😢😢 I love Harry, always have because he is like his Mother ❤❤ all heart ❤️ God bless him and his family❤
I didn’t see my father after he passed. I didn’t want the image of him dead to be how I remembered him. I’m glad, the image I have of him is how he looked on my wedding day. And I’m glad.
Diana was in a horrible accident. What must she have looked like? I think it would have been worse.
I’m sorry about your loss. My father passed away two years ago, and since then my life has never been the same.. the pain is just excruciating.

He is everyone he says he's not.. He's having a break down and is miserable. And his wife is pushing him to do all this. No good woman does that
He has been mistreated by next of kin that were supposed to love and protect him. He belongs to a very toxic family. All of this can be traced back to the tragic demise of his mother. While his brother seems to be doing well, Harry has never really recovered from this traumatic experience.
When she leaves him one day for someone richer, What will he do then!
People are not good at listening. He said he wrote the book to counter all the negative things the British press had published. He has essentially making himself the source of his story not some greedy selfish tabloids that learned nothing from Diana's death.

Renouncing and making his own way is EXACTLY what he is doing! What else would you call marrying for love-- not for appropriate aesthetics-- a woman who defies all of the "fitting" characteristics for a royal, leaving the financial security of the institution, moving to a different country, and making his own living? Charles and William are simply jealous because Harry gets to live a normal life, within a loving marriage, and the ability to show affection to his kids-- which was frowned upon by the institution.
@@RationallyMe I meant ‘make your own way’ as in years and years ago. It sounds like he spent much time resenting everything that comes with being born into that family yet he has made an very public identity based on ‘his place’ within this family only and not branches out to do something on his own, by his own making away and separately from this family. He could have led a very different life but has set his terms within only one framework. Also much of what both he and MM have said is provably contradictory.

@@RationallyMe He is making a TON of money by giving every dirty detail he can think of to promote his own victimhood and put down his family. That's the only money I see him making. Oh, and he did register his foundation in Delaware--a state known for lax reporting where a charity only has to give 5% of its proceeds to actual good causes. He can keep 95% for administrative costs. (Guess those Invictus folks were happy Meghan got to buy so many new outfits!) He made sure to avoid California where he now lives, a state that regulates charities closer and requires more of a percentage to actually be used for good.
I have been following Harry for quite a while and what I get from the book is that he is so jealous of William, he can't see straight.
Have you been watching William and Catherine? I am sure they aren't perfect, but they look like a normal family to me. Remember that you are reading Harry's view of life--filtered through the lens of chronic victimhood. He"projects" a lot and makes assumptions that all other people feel as he does. This is actually a trait of adolescence, when we haven't matured enough to accept that other people may feel differently than we do. He seems unable to see the viewpoints of others.
However, I hope you are right about Harry being in a loving marriage. Meghan seems to discard her relationships rather easily and move on when it suits her needs (first husband, family, and friends), so I wouldn't be surprised if Harry doesn't join that club at some point. Of course, it will all be his family and the media's fault!

I'm going by the accounts of everyone who has experienced the "institution", including Diana and Fergie ( who was married to the child predator the "institution" protects). As far as the foundation, I don't know and I don't care. Harry wouldn't be the first and certainly won't be the last rich person to take advantage of tax laws that benefit the rich. As the saying goes, 'Don't hate the player, hate the game'.
In regards to Harry telling family secrets... again, he ain't the first and won't be the last. As long as he's truthful, then he has EVERY right to tell HIS story. If the "institution" wasn't so heinous there would be no DIRTY secrets to tell.
All I know if princess Diana was still alive she would be heartbroken on seeing her sons pulling away from each other...
I am not saying his feelings shouldn’t be validated but he could’ve been the bigger man and worked things privately. I am sure the royal family would’ve worked something out even made some changes instead of having him do this: blasting personal information to every entertainment outlet.
Yep. William tried to reach out to him "I love you and I want you to be happy" . It is in his own book. He can't see it though. He is in the mist.
