I love Harry & Meghan even more for their vulnerability & Bravery in the face of all the ridicule, naysayers, media spins to silence them by creating a false narrative that they wanted 'privacy,' when in fact all they every stated was that they were stepping down from being senior royals (away from the intrusive media) but will continue a life of service. which in no way meant they were not going to have a voice and speak on things that were important or impacted them. Bravo to them for their resilience & speaking out against all the bullying & discrimination that they've faced.

They are quite appalling and if those in America think the Sussexs are the only target, they are quite wrong. Prince Harry's Mother - and the King, when he was Prince Charles, were terribly hounded. Celebrities have been driven to nervous breakdowns and politicians are mercilessly villified. The Sussex's claim they were singled-out is wrong. The British press is absolutly appalling to very many people. There have been quite compelling claims that ordinary members of the public who came into the public limelight for various reasons, have been driven to suicide and died as a result. I, and many more, want to see far more restrictions on the press - some came into force after Princess Diana's death but far too few. The British press is often cited as the most viscious and appalling in the World. If you meant anything else, sorry, I'm not understanding, please re-phrase. Cheerio.

The RF was given a chance to comment, they choose not to. Why not ask the RF why they choose not to comment? Also, they have commented - via the royal press. Please, do not say the RF does not explain or complain. They commented when Kate was accused of using Botox, but could not defend little Archie he was likened to a monkey! Vile people!
Nothing one sided about it at all it was their story their experiences. I remember when they went to Africa she was Brilliant considering most of the common wealth is of colour. But the Royal PR couldn't take it Megan and Harry were loved. I've heard journalists say she couldn't have experienced racism why? Because she was fair in colour. The British are less direct in being racist. They never focused too much about that. It in the Doc. It was lack of protection from the bullying by the tabloids. Even her letter to her father leaked disgraceful especially when she was advised to reach out to him only to be released redacted by the tabloids. And also another letter stating if no protection then they would consider leaving with his family was not set in concrete just expressing his feelings. No one discussed it but it was released. I gathered from the series that they would have continued with their work, but no! a smear campaign was pushed forward Megan never hated the royal family. She respected Harry's family. But the PR to me called the shots especially when they were going to have tea with the Queen and then it was cancelled. The institute never wanted a woman of colour in the Royal Family. But the people and the common wealth loved the fact there was finally a person, we of colour could identify with. The whole nation celebrated even I, with my children. Then tabloids tried to tear her down for being a narcissist, which came from a half sister who was from a sister who was 17 years older who never raised her own children and was estranged to Megan but and the tabloids ran with it. They did the same with Princess Diana, The love they had to fight for I'm surprised she never went mad. Well done Harry and Megan for sharing your story it was a breath of fresh air. I get it.

I remember watching Meghan and Harry’s wedding. I was so excited and felt sympathy for her at the beginning because she was the first black person to be integrated into the royal family… BUT as time went on and she CONSTANTLY used the race card over and over and the way she started to present herself at royal outings ( walking in front of Harry constantly, butting-in and pulling him away while he was talking, etc.) I started to lose any care and sympathy for her. What annoyed the most out of anything from this “documentary” was Harry’s constant comparison of her with his mom. She is NOTHING like Diana and will never be. Give it a rest.

There was also a lot of positive things written in the media about H and M but they only focused on all the negative stuff which inadvertently fed into it. They put all their attention on the negative stuff and that magnified it. That which you give energy to will grow and one gives energy to that which most closely reflects your own mindset. True. I think it starts to show how ungrateful they actually turned out to be. They only focus on the 10% negative press and never appreciated the 90% positive press and support comments, as if anyone owes them 100% praise and respect only for... being born or marrying into a rich family? Harry had a very privileged life, one of a kind. And for Meghan, it's no surprise that she's not on speaking terms with anyone in her family (her mother's as well as her father's side). It can't always be the fault of everyone else. There are worse family feuds out there, airing your dirty laundry in public instead of talking to your family is never a good idea. I think the list here was rather tame, unless they deliberately left out something, none of W&K's actions are unforgivable as they only happened in private. Things are being blown out of proportion, like the drama with the dress for the girls.

As Asian living in California, it so disrespectful they way she mocks bowing to the Queen especially in my culture its disrespectful to do that to a grandmother and the elder of the family. I worked in Thailand and I have seen Thai people even bowing on the ground to the Royal family. It is a culture thing and should be respected especially if you are in their country. Not watching their Netflix series. They had too many discrepancies in their Oprah interview. If you pay attention to “their truth” in their own words, they contradict so many of their own recollections. Harry really failed Meghan by not explaining what being a Royal meant. Meghan can not be that ignorant to not know how different her life would be (or maybe she is) if she married into the Royal Family. All of Harry’s past girlfriends bowed out of the relationship because of the extreme scrutiny. Mistakes/bad behavior were made by both sides of the Royal Family, Meghan’s Family and the press. It’s sad that the Sussexes weren’t able to “carry on”. They could have been agents of real change. They sold their story. “Love wins.” The Royal Family will carry on without them, doing their duty to serve others.

I understand that many people don’t really like her but there are certain sections of this documentary that actually describe the way she was bullied by the British media. She may use the race card and Diana as a way for victimising herself but don’t forget that there are many subtle ways people express racism which might not matter that much at the moment but later on when you think about it, it just clicks. As a brown woman myself I’ve seen many people criticise brown people for not being able to speak English properly but when the same is done by Italian, French, Romanian people think that their accent is “CUTE”. Remember she lived in the same institution that literally imprisoned, killed many brown and black lives and called themselves “Superior” for years. Things like that don’t just wash off in one generation.

Aside from the fact that I don't like her(so my view might not be completely objective but I try to be fair) I must say she grew up in a society where racial segregation was lawful until the sixties of this century. The UK has its faults but it abolished slavery and they stood up against segregation when during WW2 American troops thought they could segregate their black brothers in arms when stationed in the UK. The Brits responded by refusing white Americans to enter pubs. I am brown. Born and bred in a constitutional monarchy(not the uk) and my being brown has everything to do with the colonial past of my homecountry of birth . I am descended from African slaves. I face discrimination and 'casual racism' on the regular. I have also lived in the UK, which more or less is the same society I live in.
