Stop pitying that ex-royal prince for the loss of his mother. Many children had to bury a parent as a child. My father was shot down in helicopter on his way out of of Vietnam after 3 tours. I had to walk behind his casket carried by horses with many soldiers surrounding him and us. As we entered Arlington National Cemetery there were crowds of people protesting the Vietnam war and yelling at us and spitting at us and calling my father a baby killer. Then I went back to school and got the same treatment from fellow students and their parents. Many of the kids weren’t allowed to play with me or be my friends. And I WAS 9 almost turning 10 Years Old. So stop it. I didn’t even my father in one piece to bury. But I lived a life that he would have wanted and to make him proud. My daddy’s bodyguard told me to remember his life and as a daddy for the years you had him. Do not hold the end of life as your memory. Do not pity yourself. I was a fostered child via the Berkshire County Council with years of an abusive foster father... no contact with natural family...did I blame everyone else..ramble on about it for ever.. blame my life choices on that man qnd his abuse...I prefer to think if the good I gained from them as a couple and mum...who believed in me and my future....gave me knitting, sewing, gardening, baking etc.who cleaned horrible peoples homes and offices to supplement the low allowance from the Council..to buy me music and piano lessons...so I was able to feel grateful for their rural lifestyle,voeople at St Marys church who embraced this orphan Annie, pushed my music and singing abilities to the urmost and in later on my musical children...so if I can overcome having no natural family and abuse with no memories of my family at all..well then Harry should be grateful that he had some years with his Mum and both parents together and not dine out in his loss at every chance. Others have experienced worse and they face up to it, mend their lives and move on without droning on about it ad infinitum... move on Harry...
I, myself, have been through foster care and abuse at all levels. I’m 66 and never knew my father or other family members. I’ve overcome and learned from my difficulties. Actually no guilt can be issued to UK over Diana’s death. She refused full protection in Paris.She got in a car that had already been in an accident so seatbelts did not work, and the driver was drunk. Why are so many people making such a big deal about Harry’s book? I read that book and what I read in that book was not that bad I don’t understand why people think he wrote such terrible things because it wasn’t. I think everything he wrote was the truth, and maybe people just don’t like the truth, and for another thing, as far as not allowing him to wear his uniform at his grandfather’s funeral, his grandmothers funeral, that was a big big mistake. As far as I can see he is the only one in the royal family that deserved to wear that uniform, he thought in Afghanistan. He literally was on the front lines none of the royal family were and in the war as far as I know they, they might’ve been part of military, but none of them fought there on the front line. I think everybody needs to sit down and read the book and really read🎉 it without bias and take another look at that family ! Stop pitying that ex-royal prince for the loss of his mother. Many children had to bury a parent as a child. My father was shot down in helicopter on his way out of of Vietnam after 3 tours. I had to walk behind his casket carried by horses with many soldiers surrounding him and us. As we entered Arlington National Cemetery there were crowds of people protesting the Vietnam war and yelling at us and spitting at us and calling my father a baby killer. Then I went back to school and got the same treatment from fellow students and their parents. Many of the kids weren’t allowed to play with me or be my friends. And I WAS 9 almost turning 10 Years Old. So stop it. I didn’t even my father in one piece to bury. But I lived a life that he would have wanted and to make him proud. My daddy’s bodyguard told me to remember his life and as a daddy for the years you had him. Do not hold the end of life as your memory. Do not pity yourself. Be proud because God needed him more than you needed him. He will always be with you as your daddy. Do not disgrace everything he accomplished in his life by focusing on the day he was called. I was a fostered child via the Berkshire County Council with years of an abusive foster father... no contact with natural family...did I blame everyone else..ramble on about it for ever.. blame my life choices on that man qnd his abuse...I prefer to think if the good I gained from them as a couple and mum...who believed in me and my future....gave me knitting, sewing, gardening, baking etc.who cleaned horrible peoples homes and offices to supplement the low allowance from the Council..to buy me music and piano lessons...so I was able to feel grateful for their rural lifestyle,voeople at St Marys church who embraced this orphan Annie, pushed my music and singing abilities to the urmost and in later on my musical children...so if I can overcome having no natural family and abuse with no memories of my family at all..well then Harry should be grateful that he had some years with his Mum and both parents together and not dine out in his loss at every

The Kents get covered quite frequently because Prince and Princess Michael are controversial at times, and bring coverage to themselves by their behavior. The Gloucesters, on the other hand, at the same level of the family, are never covered. Why? Because they're being "protected"? No. Because they behave impeccably, show up, and never complain. My niece and nephew lost their mother (my sister-in-law from an aneurism) when they were 5 and 4 years of age. They turned out to be successful and beautiful people without all the wealth afforded them.

I was in NYC during the polar pulse in February 2023 and I can categorically say that even when it was that cold -15c with a force 6 gales, Manhattan was nose to tail traffic and theres no way a 2 hour car chase happened in much warmer weather with far more people around.
While I was there, the newscasters, weather forecasters were telling people to stay indoors as there had been deaths in street sleepers in the night and the possibility of death due to cold and wind and snow was real. The newscasters were popping out onto the streets to speak with people and ask why they were out, and the reply was always, work. The newscasters were back in the studio very quickly.

I don't agree that people (or very few) bought that book to support him but out of curiosity. Someone handed me a discarded copy as I would never line their pockets. As I love reading and would read almost anything, I accepted it, but I still wasn't sure if I wanted to read it. I eventually began, read the first page, and just couldn't do anymore. I passed it on.

Why are so many people making such a big deal about Harry’s book? I read that book and what I read in that book was not that bad I don’t understand why people think he wrote such terrible things because it wasn’t. I think everything he wrote was the truth, and maybe people just don’t like the truth, and for another thing, as far as not allowing him to wear his uniform at his grandfather’s funeral, his grandmothers funeral, that was a big big mistake. As far as I can see he is the only one in the royal family that deserved to wear that uniform, he thought in Afghanistan. He literally was on the front lines none of the royal family were and in the war as far as I know they, they might’ve been part of military, but none of them fought there on the front line. I think everybody needs to sit down and read the book and really read🎉 it without bias and take another look at that family !
