"Damaged by his mother's death." Tut tut. I was 14 when my mother died. I did not have the world's compassion. Instead, people urged me to "be strong for your dad." After the funeral I did not come home to a palace with servants, who could take care of everything. I came home to a house in chaos. I made brave attempts to be a replacement or my mom, but failed miserably. And was made aware of my failure. Seriously! stop with this"poor Harry, he lost his mom when he was a kid."
Indeed. There are so many of us who have lost a parent at a very young age. We don't go around blaming every bad decision we make on that. And we didn't have access to therepy like he did.

my Dad's mum died when he was 7 and he also married a very bossy woman (my mother). I think it's a risk. Like that inner child part of you just goes forth in to adult with ''tell me what I should do'' energy. I totally agree that a 14 year old girl is seen as needing to demonstrate strength for her father. tsk. So much more is indulged from young teen boys than young teen girls.

I lost my mother at 10, and I was devastated. My stepmother was evil. She was a master at hiding what she did to me and my four young siblings. She liked to shove me down the basement stairs, grab my hair on each side of my face, and pound my head into the hardwood floor until she got tired. The worst was listening to my siblings' screams when she was abusing them. Today, she would still be in prison. But back then, even doctors tried to bring charges against her, but Child Protection Services didn't even exist. And the HRA had ZERO power to do anything that could have saved us from her lies and abuse! Trust me when I say...I've only mentioned the lighter, easy stuff. So...someone needs to tell baby Harry to GROW UP! LIFE IS HARD FOR EVERYONE LIVING ON THIS PLANET, RICH, POOR, BLACK, OR WHITE. You may always cry now and then when it slips to the front of your thinking, but you wipe your eyes and nose and GET ON WITH THE LIFE YOU STILL HAVE TO LIVE.Omg LIKE....LIKE...PRINCE WILLIAM! I lost my mother at the age of 37 and I was devastated. My stepmother has been a loving parent since 1975 and acted like a loving parent. Losing my mother to a terminal brain cancer was devastating as I watched her rapidly die before my eyes. My stepmother was there for me to comfort me. Harry does need to grow up and realize that life is hard on everyone living on this planet. I still miss my mother but I moved on and continue to live my life.
Hello Kathryn, I was blessed with a step-father who actually loved his step-children and didn't say so often, but his ACTIONS conveyed that affection and concern,100% of the time. Thank God for him and my mother. It seems to me that Harry uses his mother's death as a way of justifing his bad behavior through out his life and almost like why babies suck on pacifiers. Absolutely, he could have gone to the USA and made a good life for himself and family, but it’s so true, bitterness always keeps eating away if you let it, and he’s written a full book on ever petty thing he’s been bitter about. Like his first girlfriend was an older woman, come forward older women, and she’s not as old as his wife. 😅
He’s a parasitic sensationalist who sold out the RF. To make more money he hired a ghostwriter to pen his memoir despite not living a fulfilled life of accomplishments. He’s a very boring chap whose lived a very boring and uneventful life. Imagine this spoiled brat having so many gripes … thankfully the crown can’t be shared and thankfully Harry will never ever be able to hold court. But indeed William faced the tragic loss of his mother too and over time came to grips that she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and that the driver was intoxicated. The children of Grace Kelly were also devastated by their mom’s tragic death in a car accident and yet they eventually moved on. Harry is locked in the past and is still lamenting for his old self (age 12). Harry lacks the capacity to be objective about Diana’s death and just keeps pitying himself and blaming the press. Being popular and in the limelight comes with the territory of being a public figure and Diana knew it. Harry knows it too ..
yet he and MM flaunt themselves by calling the paps to let them know where they are and can be photographed at. They are selling everybody’s souls … including their own. It’s so ironic that Harry can’t live by British poet Henley’s poem Invictus and it’s famous quote: “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.”. Harry’s cluelessness is a stark contrast to William’s common sense.

Kate is an excellent role model in all she does, we are very lucky to have her as the future queen. He fell in love with her, and what he considered her fearlessness. He said, admiringly, "Meghan is capable of anything", and so she is. She has no regards for her family (except Doria) and even less for his. Therefore, he found his excuse, his release from all duty and consideration for anyone or anything but what he pleased. I'm sure he found it exhilarating to ditch all restraints. Now there was nobody to tell him what to do and what not to do! He could indulge in his fantasy role of savior of the environment and fancy himself as the epitome of a philanthropist. Except that it is all a farce. As an example, look up Sentebale and the abused little girl he promised to take care of. It didn't happen, because it so happens that nothing they do ever benefits anyone but themselves. Neither of them is a philanthropist nor an environmentalist. They go everywhere in private jets for crying out loud! Sadly, they're just a pair of grifters, looking to find ways to make a buck.

Harry had to be helped or given a pass to get into Sandhurst ...how embarrassing he failed at everything he does....this is why he is so angry...this stuff is normally hidden
Lots of officers struggled at Sandhurst, it is not an easy place to succeed in! Even Montgomery was demoted during his time there!
@@nickjung7394 He "struggled" long before he got there, with teachers doing his course work for him so he could pass his school exams. He didn't have necessary number of passes or the passing grades to even get in. He was given a free pass because he was the Queen's grandson.

He was never a larrikin, the RF pr team scrubbed his mistakes, most probably paid his victims and swept everything evil deed he did under the rug and presented him as likable character. The real Harry is the one we are seeing for the last 4-5 years . I congratulate the RF for the great work they did keeping him clean and likable . He’s no different from the thing he married .
