Piers brands the Duke of Sussex a "bully" after he attacked the Royal Family in some television interviews to promote the tell-all book. We're then joined by Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell, who says he thinks Harry has "lost the plot" and that his mother Princess Diana would be "appalled" by Harry's behaviour.
Trisha Goddard then joins Piers from the U.S to debate Harry's apparent change of heart on whether his family were racist towards Meghan since their infamous Oprah Winfrey interview three years ago.

Thanks Faith, good to hear it from you. I'm a white male, and I'm often at odds with Piers, but I'm totally with him on the whole H and M saga. Of course it was a charge of racism. Even if it wasn't and we are all mistaken dimwits, the fact is that the entire world (except Trish, apparently) read it that way and the RF have been going about under the cloud of the accusation for about two years. In that case, why is it only NOW that Harry decides to put that record straight?

Piers is correct about the Oprah interview, you do not need to use the word racist to to say some one is racist.

Oprah did her part to validate that Meghan’s statements described racism .Oprah did not defuse it. Markle also alluded that Archie was not given a title because of racism.

I am black and they clearly implied that the royal family were racist on TWO occasions. Second one was Archie not being made a prince same as the other white grandchildren.
Rewind the archives and we will see Trisha Goddard actually saying that the royal family are racist as they were "were WORRIED" about how dark a baby would be who is 1/4 black. That royal is dumber than Harry as the baby is 3/4 white no need for such concerns.

The UK has changed greatly from when I was born and in my 20's and it has changed for the better. People of colour had it very hard when I was growing up, but that is no longer the case and I personally do not think it would have made one bit of difference if Archie had been born black, in fact I think it would have been a good thing for the Royal Family.

And maybe Princess Meghan did not want Prince Harry broaching the subject of her emotional health struggles that might get "turned around" in a book because she may have started thinking about how their children might view that someday. None of the means that certain things were never said at all. Princess Meghan told the truth.

When I was pregnant with my first child, my husband's Mother, his cousin and even our pediatrician, all had the same question. What color would her skin be. I never assumed it to be racist against me, the white wife, just simple curiosity of just how BEAUTIFUL she would turn out to be. There have been birthday parties, sporting games, special events etc for my kids and his family never shows. Not one member of his family came to the hospital for either of my children's births. There are no Christmas gifts, birthdays presents..nothing. I'm not black (I am extremely white and from Northern Europe so not exactly a native Brit) so I cannot comment nor imagine what it's like for you. What I can say is that from my perspective - I grew up seeing people of all colours participate in Olympics, movies etc., and always assumed that those people are British, American, French etc (regardless of their skin colour, I didn't even know what racism was). Later moved to the UK and this perception of people stayed with me, so I honestly am 'colour blind' in that aspect.
I have, however, since learned about racism (and think its stupid), experienced bigotry (just as stupid), but I think most of it is just people being ignorant. Its very small fractions of people who are *actually* racist and bigoted.
Where I was going with this - I haven't attached myself to any political agenda, nationality, etc., I want what's best for the community around me. I like some people (even if we have different political view points we might have similar interests and values in life), but if they do or say something that's really not cool - I call it out.
Same with people like Trisha - I used to like her because I thought I shared similar views with her, but here she just comes off as unhinged. She's arguing like a small kid who has nothing of substance to say, and is just repeating what's being said to her.

No, it's not. Black people do it all the time to black babies. We come in different shades of black. A baby might be born light skinned and darkened over time. The child may be the skin color of the father or mother. A light skinned couple can have a dark skinned child. A dark skinned couple can have a light skinned child or an albino child. A black couple can have a child with fair skin or look as white as Meghan. The comment by the royal wasn't racist but it WAS interpreted as racist.
