The hybrid track is something that I am super interested in however some of the schools that offer it aren't super close by and would require me to travel for the labs and clinical rotations. Is it common for students to maybe dorm with classmates for the couple days/weeks they meet in person? Or is the hybrid track meant for students who could commute via car
Anything on st. Augustine dpt flex program?
I came across this video because I am most interested in USC DPT program. I have a growing family of my own hence why I’m looking into the hybrid program. I’m located in Sacramento, CA which is about 6-7 hour drive from me. 1 hr flight. Can you elaborate more about how long a student will be gone for when going to campus for in person clinical? I have a husband and 1 child and growing. I don’t want “having a family” to stop me from pursuing my goal on becoming a PT. I hope to hear from you soon!
I do NOT want to travel out of state, would it be harder to find something locally? I'm from Chicago suburbs.
Any suggestions on pre physical therapy majors? Senior in highschool planning a route in pt but not sure what major would put me ahead of other students in the application process.
I would definitely choose a major in the movement field like kinesiology or exercise science. If your college has a major where you can “emphasize” in PT, that’s the way to go. If you want to stand out and get ahead of other students, I would recommend that you start getting yourself involved with extra curricular‘s now and take on leadership positions

@@drjustinleedpt one month in and it has been great!! Our cohort clicked since the very beginning, it’s a class of over 90 kids but it doesn’t feel like it.
Hey what majors did you have for your undergrad studies?
Very interesting since covid made most DPT schools hybrid! Who would have ever thought?
Right?! A lot of people were skeptical of these programs but because of Covid, I think it only reemphasized it!
My school is 2 years DPT
