- While visiting Andrew out in Roanoke, I treated him to a car wash in nearby Salem. It ended up being a Laserwash G5, which did a predictably mediocre job cleaning the car. I did appreciate the opportunity to film one of these from the outside though.

I love been to the Laser Wash G5 in elementary school but not the 360!
They've torn this one down.

Kind of reminds me of the old robo wash from the 60s and 70s. Not sure if you ever seen a robo before. It had a track on the ground the machine followed.
Nice! This is an older G5 since it has older signage. However it's a G5 S-Series since it has onboard MaxAir dryers.
Actually, the S-Series stands for "smart series." The S-Series means when the wash arm is in motion, it never pauses like the 4000 series.

I really enjoyed this one, I love these Laserwash G5 units with the onboard MaxAir drying unit, they don't do a great job at drying but it's the sound I love of them, as well as the chemical and high-pressure pump unit.
filming from both inside and outside is very nice too.
Yeah i agree that the onboard max airs on the G5 s dont work that well but the ones on the 360,360 plus, Protouch tandem,tandem surfline in my opinion actually do pretty well which is odd considering its the same drying unit

being a detailer, I have no idea to why people still use these. Touchless does nothing and brush just leaves little marks in the finish under sunlight.
Luke Hall your facts are wrong. They do not cause damage to cars. Get your facts right for once.
I think the detailer is saying that both touch and non touch car washes suck. And most do a terrible job if not causing damage.
horseathalt thank you. They do damage the car, a person that runs the car through the wash would not notice them as they have no care about the car

Hello fellow detailer! I detailed cars for more than 15 years until i became too old for the work. Few people are truly experts at this job with paint correction almost being the art of science. Respect for you.
