D&S 5000 - Reavis Barracks Car Wash, Lemay MO

Not sure why, but I'm quite fond of these older-style car washes with a bunch of manual bays and an automatic or two. I took advantage of the onsite car vacuums to clean my car's messy interior before heading for the wash bay. While this D&S seemed to be struggling a bit (like it was having trouble pulling itself up the rails on either end), it did a fantastic job as always. I really think these old D&S touchless units give modern systems a run for their money.

I went to the soft touch car wash in merrillville Indiana Ultimate wash for $17 dollars is got triple foam and Simoniz hot wax and shine.

If they're concerned about the noise, no matter if it's an old system, they should use International Drying Corp, World Dryer, or Aero Dry.

After talking to people knowledgable in the industry, the consensus seems to be that D&S simply never produced a 6000 unit. They don't exist. But for some reason, they stylized the '5' in a way that looks like a 6 from a distance.
