      As a Trader Joe’s future mate, unionizing is going to create a lot of problems. I fully support unions but managers won’t be allowed to do any of the hard labor they typically do and it will make everything really difficult. I am all for better pay and benefits but if Mates can’t work as hard as they do the stores will fall apart

    Probably a good thing they didn't try the Tea Tree oil. If you're gonna use tea tree oil on your skin, I highly recommend diluting it with a carrier oil like Jojoba or Almond oil first. Just like when Kristin tried the TT pads, it can be super harsh and astringent, even for skin that's not sensitive - so use with caution!

    Love y’all so much!! Hope this doesn’t sound rude, but I think the vitamin E oil isn’t supposed to be for on the face… it goes on skin (more like the body) and really helps with stretch marks! It’s also great for pregnant bellies to prevent stretch marks. Lastly, it’s amazing at reducing the appearance of scars! So maybe it’s not the greatest for faces, but works wonders on the body! Love you guys!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Its honestly so nice to see people try face stuff and rate it based on how it triggers their sensory issues rather than just on how good of a job the stuff does - really helpful for those of us who also buy moisturisers etc and then use it once before having to throw it away because of how it feels! 👏

    Smart move to not try the tea tree oil. It's best used in tiny amount on zits and on cuts to prevent infections, and only if you are sure you react well to it. Not something you want to slather on your face.

    I wish that your Trader Joe's had the overnight watermelon mask, it's a fantastic product imo. I have extremely sensitive skin and moderate rosacea and love that product (As well as the rose hip spray, happy you liked that). I don't use it as an overnight mask since those don't work with how much I move about, but as one I apply in the AM after my shower and before rinsing and doing other products. It really helps with redness and reduces swelling, and while it's definitely thick I use a super small amount.

    The hyaluronic acid serum is really nice at night and that eye cream is also great, for me. I have sensitive skin with rosacea. It is very nice to keep skin care in the fridge. And when I put on my makeup I soak my makeup sponge in cold water. i have not used TJ toner but I keep a spray bottle with the Thayers cucumber in it and that is VERY nice. The Aveeno baby face SPF stick is pretty amazing as for not stinging eyes and skin. The Olay sensitive spf 15 is really nice for oily sensitive skin FYI love you all byeeeeeee

So many cosmetic brands add a huge markup and/or add tons of filler ingredients in their hair and skin oils. Trader Joe's oils are the real deal, and a little goes a long way! Seriously best value!!

    • @simonsaysism
      @simonsaysism Год назад

      Not true, oil glands produce at a constant rate mostly determined by genetics. It's an illusion when it seems like you get oilier right after over-cleansing, because your pores are emptied out and the oil can freely flow out, it's the same amount being made it just reaches the surface more quickly. (That's not to say that you're wrong about oily ppl using oil, we do need to moisturize effectively too)

    I use that jojoba oil daily... on my nails. It's supreme on nails, extremely good cuticle oil, one bottle lasts forever. $2 elf concealer brush or get some watercolor fillable water brushes and fill with the oil to make a "pen".

    Not saying this to yell at Kristin because I'm not, but just to share food for thought: another reason not to use face wipes is that we tend to wipe/pull/scrub harder with them when removing makeup, etc. than we would with our hands using a cleanser (and then following up with a second cleanse). I know this doesn't apply to everyone in how they use them or how effective a double cleanse is for them, just that it's not solely an environmental issue but it could be a skin issue.
