My son is a nurse and would rather have less pay with lower ratios. The problem is that the union wants both a higher pay AND a lower ratio.

I feel sad for the nurses as they are being misled by the Union. It seems the union wanted to be greedy, and would not budge during the negotiations. Now the ball is in the hospital's court, and they can do what they want. It is time to get rid of the useless unions.

Nursing students, CNA students, MA students pay attention. Students at the medical school and other medical auxiliary colleagues pay attention in higher education. Those who have not declared their major and those in the high schools on track for nursing at Waipahu and the programs at HPU, HCC/KCC, UH-Hilo and Chaminade pay attention to how society supports our profession.
