With Friday’s nurses strike coming, contract talks continue at three hospitals across Hawaii. The common denominator is the issue of safe staffing which refers to the ratio of nurses to patients.

Safe staffing? How can they ask for safe staffing when the nurses are stealing and taking home bottles of cough syrup, boxes of gloves and masks, and rolls of toilet paper? How about addressing thefts by the nurses? You know how I know? Because I'm an orderly and I see them steal stuff every day. The RN's joke about it. It's the Filipino nurses doing the stealing. I would LOVE to name names. All the shifts do it but it happens a lot on the overnite shift when there's less staff and security around. Yeah let's see if there's a story or investigation about this. Not going have. I know already.
