Most women feel that the scalp is supposed to match their skin color, however your natural scalp is lighter because it is covered with hair. With that said, you ROCKED the cappuccino.

I never used the bald cap
Method Been wearing hairvivi wigs for the last 3 years. Love them. Not all this plucking and glueing. I wear a nice wig cap thee are t protects my wedges. Edges are full. Keep my hair hydrated. Don’t have to glue their wigs down and sleep in it.

Oh no sis! Don’t say that. You have to believe you can do something to make it happen. It’s really not that hard especially if you have a good unit. Pull up a video take your time and follow along. You got this 🫶🏾

I like the bald cap as it prevent it going on your edges and pulling them back
Yea if you glue your units down then a bald cap is best however I almost never use glue on my units.

Mocha match better when it was on your head. It looked like both were perfect when you tried it on ur arm but then the cappuccino one looked lighter when it got under the wig

I like the concept of the tape. You could actually get by with the Mocha or the cappuccino. In my opinion I’m leaning more towards the Cappuccino.

This is my first time watching your channel. I have been interested in this type of hair art......yes Hair ART. We as women of color are truly artist and can't be stopped. But we should be recognized as such. Not to much of that though, they will NEVER give us our props ! Anyway, I want to know where your brand is located because I'm in what they call the mid-west, but I/m very close to Philly. If not you, do you know of any salons that do the kind of work the way you do it ? Thanks....U are AWESOME !!!!! By the way, I've never had a weave or a wig and I realize that they would save soooo much time.

I don’t have a salon but I show people like you how to put on wigs on my channel. This is a very beginner friendly wig. I don’t think you need to go to a salon to wear it. However you should do what’s best for you. I think once you find a good wig like this one you will love the flexible that it gives you to change up your hairstyle as you see fit. Best of luck. ❤️

I LOVE these wigs. But I'm so PETRIFIED of glue anywhere near or on my scalp, I bought this lacefront & jacked it up when I cut the front of the lace but still managed to wear it - I use bobby pins to secure it to my scalp & my own hair bcz I don't know any other way. I also don't like those wig caps & the straps & combs that come with the wig bcz all of these things feel like pressure to my scalp & give me a headache fast & I'll have a headache all day & be ready to snstch it all OFF wherever Im at & NOT GAF how I look 🤣 - anything but those headaches!! And without glue I worry about it sliding off, that's why I used the.bobby pins. I would like to learn how to put the wigs on PROPERLY so it stays secure without glue or a wig cap
You and me both...I don't want to use anymore glue on my edges and need to learn how to install without it

Hey hun y’all should be putting glue on your edges. If you watch my install tutorials you, one I don’t typically use glue I use temporary adhesives. 2, I never put it on my hair. I put it in front of my hairline. Also if you do by change get some on your hair your removal process is what’s making your hair thin. Never yank it off. The temporary adhesive comes off with water. Apply water and let it soak for a few seconds before taking it off. If it doesn’t slide off you didn’t wet it enough.

@Yellow Flowers yes it did. I had to go see a dermatologist to see how I can get it to grow back other than not putting it in anymore. It's ashame when you put your trust into hairstylist because they are the ones who are supposed to be educated on this, in turn educated you but all they do is take your money and watch you grow bald...

The unit should be called Charm Man Unit. I got to get this it looks good am dark skin so the mocha would work better for me but the darker look more natural for you also. Charm Man Unit is Great , because it so charming. with the curls falling down the back.

I think Mocha is a little dark for your skins - Cappuccino looks perfect. but I am OVER gluing to my scalp - scared it will thin my edges. I think everyone's hair scalp is lighter than their face and body color? I am 100% glueless. When HairVivi starts' making 24inch units - I will definitely switch to them - I like the units you and the other ladies are showing but I must have 24inches colored 4/27 or lighter brown and blond highlights.

I like HairVivi but why don't they provide longer units? My preference is 24inch, but I know a lot of folks like 26inches. They need to catch up with the lengths - it would increase their sales exponentially.
Yea I like longer lengths too. But I think most of these businesses don’t get many sales with the longer length which is why only a few carry long lengths

Can you please share what /why the tape method and where are you placing it? Also you said no bald cap method, put you sprayed something on the lace, blow dried it and straighten it to “melt the cap” isn’t that all the same bald cap method?

I'm thinking about getting a wig. I've never worn one. I have a few questions. Do you sleep in your wig? Do you have to go through the process you showed each day that you wear it? I'm a curly natural and I'm tired of dealing with my hair. I've had sewins in the past, it was suggested that a wig may be better.
I personally don’t sleep in my wig often but that’s for personal reasons. I don’t like anything on me when I’m sleep clothes included TMI 🤣 but it’s up to you. Many ppl leave their wig on fur weeks at a time. Some may wear it for a week then take it off to wash their hair or just let it breathe. It’s really up to you.
So basically th is process us to be done everyday, if your talking it off at night?
