    The transformation is Bomb sis!🙌🏾🙌🏾 but please dont shampoo your lace fronts like that. You shouldnt apply shampoo straight to the hair. Always in a bowl of warm water and the shampoo mixed in it and just swish your wigs around in it. Tis the best way to preserve your wigs as long as possible.

    You should definitely learn how to ventilate. I hated having to cut the lace off the front so I decided I needed to figure that out and it's very easy if you do it with a small latch crochet hook rather than a typical ventilating needle.

    I am new at using wigs because I am a recent cancer patient. And I haven't had much luck picking out the right wig for myself. Can you show me what products I should use? I have bought a very curly human hair wig and I love it but I don't know what products to use on it and I think I cut off too much hair in the front lace. but it is the only wig I found that looks good on me I am recovering from the chemo and I want to feel good about myself. if you would like me to send you a picture of the wig I can. I bought it from amazon because I have tried to buy wigs from the places you say and I get the worst ever. I really hope you can help me. The wig is supposed to be a glueless wig. I hope you will help out. I need to know what type of tools and things I see you use. The type of tweezer to pluck the hair out and things I should be using. In the picture on amazon, the hair looks full in the front but I can't get it to look that way I really hope you can help out, please. Oh, and what type of hair dryer and hot comb are you using?

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  Год назад

      It’s hard for me to help because I don’t know what wig you used and I don’t promote wigs from Amazon. Being a beginner it’s best you find a wig that already comes preplucked and all you need to do is put it on your head. I review many wigs on my channel from diff price points. Feel free to watch and hopefully you’ll find something you like. What I use to install my wigs are always linked in the description box below my video. I have an Amazon storefront that includes all the products you can find what I use there. Best of luck. ❤️

    Thank for this but I have a question - when washing the units you mentioned rinsing with cold water to seal the cuticles. Do human wigs actually have active cuticles especially if it isn't live? I thought cuticles are only live growing from the scalp? Just asking because I am not quite sure anymore. Thanks

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  4 года назад +1

      That’s a good question. I don’t think it would be any difference from the hair in your head since your hair is technically dead once it grows from your scalp. Same concept. I’ve always done this with my wigs with great results. ❤️

    @Faithfully Asia Why do you brush your wigs from the root? That is a terrible way to detangle hair, it will lead to more loss of hair and/or breakage. Wet and tangled hair, particularly curly, should always be combed or brushed from ends upward. Additionally, you’re further contributing to balding in the lace by using the toothbrush to clean the lace, loosening the ventilated hairs. It is far better to use the mirror slide method to remove any adhesive, then soak wig in basin with lukewarm water mixed with gentle shampoo

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  3 года назад

      Hey hun. Thanks for the feedback. I don’t typically brush curly hair, especially tangled hair from the roots. May haves one it to illustrate the state of the wig. Would love to hear more about the mirror slide method for cleaning the lace I’ve never heard of that one. Always open to learn something new.

    You did an amazing job. I’m glad to have seen this. I have a unit I bought 5 years ago that I love but it looks a hot mess 😂. Now I know how to revive it. Good because I paid good money for it😂. Great video as always.

    I didn't know anything about the silicon mix but I see I'm gonna have to get me some.

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  4 года назад +1

      Yes doll, silicone is what most “non virgin hair” on the market is treated with. Which is why most hair behaves well at first and then later starts to matt once the silicon has worn off. This will definitely prolong the use of your hair.

    Thank you so much for this video 😍 I have a question. When you cut the lace, will the wig be too small for your head? How do you fix that?

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  4 года назад +1

      It shouldn’t but it will really depend on the following two factors. 1. How the wig fit originally. 2. How much lace you started with.

    • @cheyennemarley5070
      @cheyennemarley5070 4 года назад

      Faithfully Asia okay! My wig originally came too small for my head.

    Always brush from the ends first, you were tearing the hair out. That brush also isn't good on a hair unit.

    I have two wigs I was about to throw away soon but this right here give me a halt. I am going to do this. Yes for apple cider vinegar- Is there anything that it does not do? love it. I was not aware of silicone mix but now I do. Will definitely get a jar. Yes those curls are popping and the end result is amazing. You just saved me some money and that is why I just gave you a thumbs up and subbed to your channel. Good job!

    Ooooweee that wig hit a full 360!! How often do you clean and replenish your wigs like this?

    • @FaithfullyAsia
      @FaithfullyAsia  4 года назад

      I do it as often as needed. If the hair is in a really bad state you can do it every time you wash. So like every two weeks or so.

    You can try the hair ventilation method to report the hair into its natural form. It is a much longer process but the result are worthwhile. Great job on sharing your tips I didn't know you can apply adore semi hair dye directly onto the hair, this was very helpful, once again thank you for sharing.

      Thanks for the tip hun. I’ve never learned the ventilation process because I’m lazy 😩 but I know it’s a great skill to learn. Thanks for watching. 💞
