I don't blame Charlie though, that chip challenge is brutal. Super fuckin spicy for no reason lmfao. And I mean everyone has different tolerance when it comes to spicy stuff. Like if you look at the scientific reason why some spicy stuff hurt so much, or feel so spicy, it's very interesting. Basically our body triggers heat receptors in the skin, tricking the nervous system into thinking you're overheating. So "spicy food" isn't actually a real thing. It's just our bodies over reacting to the chemical capsacin, which is in all spicy foods or sauces, and some people's body over reacts way more. For me, I love spicy food and it doesn't hurt as much, but for others, like Charlie, it's the worst thing ever.

Overall not to bad. all symptoms went away in less than an hour.

As someone who has done this challenge, this is all 100% real to life reaction. This thing is absolutely brutal. Especially if you eat and swallow the whole thing. Your body almost refuses to keep it down.

The thing to know about this chip (I tried it recently and had a similarly horrible experience) is it's not like eating an extremely spicy tortilla chip. It's more like eating poison. It's like eating a chip covered in motor oil or battery acid and your body just immediately rejects it
Bruh this chip literally hurt so bad when I did this. My old job had everybody get together after we closed, and six of us, including me, did this one-chip challenge since it was my last day there. I'm honestly not sure if the gathering was a celebratory sendoff, or the last 'f--- you' because this thing HURT. Like everybody says, this thing tastes horrible. It started off with eating it, which isn't so bad for the first few seconds, then all of the sudden, all of the moisture in your mouth is sucked out, and it becomes hard to chew, wanting to finish the challenge, of course, I swallowed it, which even though I didn't stop eating it, it still took minutes to get down the gullet, which was my worst mistake yet. after two minutes of enduring the pain, I gave in to the pain, and went to the cooler of the restaurant and grabbed a gallon of milk which I would take a sip of every time the pain would return... ONE GALLON of milk later, I felt like I was going to puke, which I did. I was a fool to believe that the pain was over though. I got home around 11:30PM that night after going to a friend's house for a little while and felt my stomach churning. I went to the bathroom and had the worst bathroom session of my life, it was one of the 'strip down sh--s' where you have to take all of your clothes off because you are sweating from the pain. I got done, and took a shower around 2:00AM, yes, I was on the toilet for more than two hours. The next day, I went to my other job to help out for my last day there, a landscaping job. Long story short, I had to take many breaks in the woods and had to resort to using leaves when I had expensed all of the napkins in my boss's truck. DO NOT DO THIS CHALLENGE

I'm 17 and of similar proportions to Charlie. I was at the mall with my friend about a month ago, and we saw "the chip" in a novelty store. My friend recognized it from social media and wanted to try it. I agreed to partake as well, and even said that I would eat it first, even though I have an amazingly low spice tolerance. This was incredibly foolish of me. I ripped open the packaging in the food court, and without hesitation, shoved the entire thing into my mouth while my friend was recording me. The next thirty minutes of the video show me trying to cleanse my body of the spice by (firstly) rubbing my fingers on my tongue. It enhanced the sensory overload, and so (without thinking) I rubbed my eyes to try and dissipate the pain. What a foolish decision. With my eyes inflamed, and my entire tongue burning, I skip-hopped around the food court (with everyone staring) and grabbed a water bottle from the nearby Chinese restaurant. My friend, still filming, frantically paid for the water and then followed me through the mall to the bathroom. I had already drenched my face and clothes with the little water I had, and was now SCREAMING in a public restroom while dousing myself in water from a PUBLIC SINK. Everyone else quickly evacuated; I assume they thought I was overdosing or something. By the time my friend caught up to me, the floor was so slick that we both fell multiple times as he tried to comfort me. After about half an hour, I was acting normally. However, I suffered from digestive issues for the next week or so and still can't watch the recording without feeling sick to my stomach. My main takeaways? 1- the chip is evil and should not be sold to minors. 2- it would take a considerable sum of money for me to eat the chip again.

I'm kinda into Paqui's Haunted Ghost Pepper chips. It doesn't taste very good, and smells like death. But I like to break them up and sprinkle them into my burritos. Notably Taco Bell's bean burritos, which can be a little bland on their own. It overpowers the gross flavor, adds a nice heat, and gives it a little crunch. Paqui is kind of nasty, but can be useful as a spicy topping/garnish. ^_^ Sidenote: I'm not trying the one chip challenge. I love capsaicin, but I know my limits.

I don't blame Charlie though, that chip challenge is brutal. Super fuckin spicy for no reason lmfao. And I mean everyone has different tolerance when it comes to spicy stuff. Like if you look at the scientific reason why some spicy stuff hurt so much, or feel so spicy, it's very interesting. Basically our body triggers heat receptors in the skin, tricking the nervous system into thinking you're overheating. So "spicy food" isn't actually a real thing. It's just our bodies over reacting to the chemical capsacin, which is in all spicy foods or sauces, and some people's body over reacts way more. For me, I love spicy food and it doesn't hurt as much, but for others, like Charlie, it's the worst thing ever.
@@guccimane8310 my spice tolerance is garbage but I ate the whole chip. Tbh the spice wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My ears were ringing initially and the spice was there. I chugged a whole box of milk. But the worst part was the intense stomach pain. It hurt so bad when I tried to move so I just stayed in the same spot for like 20 mins until it went away. Overall not to bad. all symptoms went away in less than an hour.

As someone who eats habaneros regularly, and ghosts and Carolina reapers on special occasions, the 2021 one chip challenge had me curled in cramp-like pain for about 45 minutes. Always eat something beforehand, eating one on an empty stomach is legitimately irresponsible

Bruh this chip literally hurt so bad when I did this. My old job had everybody get together after we closed, and six of us, including me, did this one-chip challenge since it was my last day there. I'm honestly not sure if the gathering was a celebratory sendoff, or the last 'f--- you' because this thing HURT. Like everybody says, this thing tastes horrible. It started off with eating it, which isn't so bad for the first few seconds, then all of the sudden, all of the moisture in your mouth is sucked out, and it becomes hard to chew, wanting to finish the challenge, of course, I swallowed it, which even though I didn't stop eating it, it still took minutes to get down the gullet, which was my worst mistake yet. after two minutes of enduring the pain, I gave in to the pain, and went to the cooler of the restaurant and grabbed a gallon of milk which I would take a sip of every time the pain would return... ONE GALLON of milk later, I felt like I was going to puke, which I did. I was a fool to believe that the pain was over though. I got home around 11:30PM that night after going to a friend's house for a little while and felt my stomach churning. I went to the bathroom and had the worst bathroom session of my life, it was one of the 'strip down sh--s' where you have to take all of your clothes off because you are sweating from the pain. I got done, and took a shower around 2:00AM, yes, I was on the toilet for more than two hours. The next day, I went to my other job to help out for my last day there, a landscaping job. Long story short, I had to take many breaks in the woods and had to resort to using leaves when I had expensed all of the napkins in my boss's truck.

I'm 17 and of similar proportions to Charlie. I was at the mall with my friend about a month ago, and we saw "the chip" in a novelty store. My friend recognized it from social media and wanted to try it. I agreed to partake as well, and even said that I would eat it first, even though I have an amazingly low spice tolerance. This was incredibly foolish of me. I ripped open the packaging in the food court, and without hesitation, shoved the entire thing into my mouth while my friend was recording me. The next thirty minutes of the video show me trying to cleanse my body of the spice by (firstly) rubbing my fingers on my tongue. It enhanced the sensory overload, and so (without thinking) I rubbed my eyes to try and dissipate the pain. What a foolish decision. With my eyes inflamed, and my entire tongue burning, I skip-hopped around the food court (with everyone staring) and grabbed a water bottle from the nearby Chinese restaurant. My friend, still filming, frantically paid for the water and then followed me through the mall to the bathroom. I had already drenched my face and clothes with the little water I had, and was now SCREAMING in a public restroom while dousing myself in water from a PUBLIC SINK. Everyone else quickly evacuated; I assume they thought I was overdosing or something. By the time my friend caught up to me, the floor was so slick that we both fell multiple times as he tried to comfort me. After about half an hour, I was acting normally. However, I suffered from digestive issues for the next week or so and still can't watch the recording without feeling sick to my stomach. My main takeaways? 1- the chip is evil and should not be sold to minors. 2- it would take a considerable sum of money for me to eat the chip again.

I'm kinda into Paqui's Haunted Ghost Pepper chips. It doesn't taste very good, and smells like death. But I like to break them up and sprinkle them into my burritos. Notably Taco Bell's bean burritos, which can be a little bland on their own. It overpowers the gross flavor, adds a nice heat, and gives it a little crunch. Paqui is kind of nasty, but can be useful as a spicy topping/garnish. ^_^
Sidenote: I'm not trying the one chip challenge. I love capsaicin, but I know my limits.
