we didnt really need to know that this isn't like a 20 min video bud
Yup we already know this
@@fayesb4358 its nice being able to switch back and fourth between two options that I’m comparing without having to waste time skimming through the video :)
@@User-su6tq true. Ppl just dont know how to appreciate small things.
Damn, it's what I looking for. Thankd
Simple and straight to point! Thank u for this!
you can't get the feeling from the video
Thanks for this, I’ve been getting into the world of mechanical keyboards and i needed to hear the way they sound to consider which ones to buy
Keep in mind if ur buying the gaterin yellow it’s super smooth and if ur just hoping into it like me it will take time to adapt to cuz it’s super smooth and like me I hover my finger over the key and that resgisters as a clikx
If u need to buy one I suggest mk61 or gk61 or if u got a good budget go with k86
Yellow
@@matusha9857 what switch ar you getting bc I’m getting red
I think that yellow switches are the best. And the sound could be way better if u add a foam under de keycaps
What i learned from this:
Switches - each has their own sound.
Keycaps - basically all sound the same
If you would like to go deeper, switches made up of the same materials, example would be stuff like Alpacas, Moss, Rose Noir would most likely sound the same. Keycaps though.. cheap as fuck ABS vs GMK affects the sound profile quite a bit. PBT tends to have a deeper sound too, if compared to GMK, both with the same thickness per se.
Keycaps and case both have the biggest affect on final build sound
@@PlzReviveMeBro Nope. Switches, or plate would definitely have a much larger effect than keycaps.
the feelings are not the same
YES
Einfach ein Video wo man alle Switches hören kann einfach und simpel perfekt!!
this vid was extremely useful was getting new gateron switches and was unsure which i would get but ive decided that the yellow switches are perfect for me thank you so much

no
Same here.
Feels amazing and relaxing 😌 ☺️ 😎 Best antistress))
Thank you for making this video. I'm getting a new keyboard and it comes with the blue switches and I was worried I wasn't going to like them. I know it's a little thing but I smiled so hard when I heard the click!
Thanks for the video, very useful, I hope to see other brands besides the gateron,
Love this. Would be great if it included the sound test for the low profile switches too.
We will do it.
I agree!

i like the green ones they are perfect
i've never seen yellow, green, black and white switches b4 ... Now My eyes are baptized by your vid , thnx Man😊
yo thanks for the high quality audio! Looks like Im going team blue.
I love how you play your keyboard. Amazing sounds.
Yellow and White sound amazing
I like them
I've replaced the browns in my C1 with greens, and boy I love every single keypress.
the yellows sound great! i might get the DROP ENTR with Gateron Yellows.
Ohh man yellow sounds amazing. Love it. Really good video. Really helpful to choose a switch for an akko keyboard
i got the gk61 white optical one, i'm really lucky

Wow....me who knows nothing about these things BUT my brother however gave me a sound test, and apprently i made the best choise
Out of all them I prefer the yellow Gateron switches. They have this nice mushy sound, but I kinda hear the spring when letting go which I wouldn't enjoy. Maybe with a different keycap I would enjoy them much more. As for the other switches they have a subtle sound difference in tone.

The blue and green switches sounds really good
The Greens sounded nice, as did the Yellows!
Straight forward. Thank you.
I have the blue ones and I love it !
This video is the reason when I got my first mechanical keyboard I got gateron yellow optical switches, Fell in love with them at first sound to be honest
@@romina8046 The GK61, although would've gotten a TKL version instead since 60% keyboards don't work for me that well
@@azytrx Does it feel very fast when you type stuff because the yellow keys are super light
@@zagf4st829 Yeah, but it took me a bit to get used to it since I previously had a membrane keyboard, at first I kept accidently pressing space or kne of the movement keys when I was playing games
I bought a prebuilt custom keyboard with gateron yellows (fully lubed) and it definitely sounds nice.
Cool. Now make a 10 hours extended version of it.
To quote The Beatles, "I've got blisters in my fingers !"
Ufff man the green sound.. NIce!!
Bu yararlı video için teşekkürler 😊
All these switches sound amazing
Apart from blues XD
Tbh I feel like everyone is sleeping on blues, while they might actually be trash to most keyboard enthusiasts, you gotta know some people actually like using them, think about it if they were that bad they never would’ve been invented in the first place.
@@kxylem0622 bruh, blues are the only one i liked here tbh
Have been using the black switches for a few days and they're amazing. Would love to try the white or green though
i got a tester of 7 testers each one of the gateron optical switches and honestly whites are so scratchy and loud even after lubing... maybe it is only my batch idk but keep it in mind
@@chiuchiuunicorn7763 yeah, thanks for that. I can't stand a scratchy sound.
are they reliable?
@@poo48 yes, they're my favourite switches, although cream yellow are amazing too

Will you be fixing key sensitivity issues with the K3.
Any plans on producing more optical switches? Really enjoy the Blues and the Blacks, I was thinking something clicky/tactile at 45±15gf... like a 'clicky red' (I hope I'm using my terms correctly here).

Nice video! Thank you
Ty for this video. ❤️
I have the Gateron Browns, my current favourite switch. A bit surprising as I've had a TON of different switches and all of them are for me worse than the Gateron Browns. I have them in my Keychron v8, modded with 55g springs and they sound different then in this vid. They're pretty quiet. What I love most is the high actuation and the smooth travel after.
I keep trying out new ones to see if they're better than the plain old 'boring' Gateron Browns but so far Gateron keeps coming out on top. :-)
Switches I've tried are:
Kiwi
BobaU4 62g clear
Zealios v2 62g (the worst I've ever had surprisingly considering it's reputation)
Drop Holy Panda (1st batch)
Aliaz Silent 60g
Switches that I've ordered but not yet delivered:
Kailh Polia
LCET blue pink
I like the yellows
You have issues
Yellows hit different
have you tried the gateron blacks! I can't decide between brown and black lol
@@clairek433 Not yet. At the moment I’ve bought even more switches that I need to test but very little free time. ☹️
im using the blue currently and they are way louder than i though they would be

VERY GOOD VIDEO MY NYGGA!!
Honestly, gateron green is the loudest amongst all of them, i compared them to blue switch and yes it was indeed the loudest
Como maquina de escribir jaja.
i think yellow is my favorite, i'm considering getting them
same here, I'm getting some pre lubed ones to put in a budget modded keyboard because they sounded extremely nice in videos I've watched.
@@Normaliv i agree, they sound really nice! if you don't mind though, where can you find pre-lubed ones?
@@earthtominiryu im new to this, so i just searched it up on ebay and found one that has 1 (i think 100% set) left

Help i don't know if to go with green o blue switches.
I choose blue switch over green switch
If you type with a force, use green but if you want to disturb your neighbor, use blue
I nod everytime he taps on the switches and keys
Me too
Love this
Question here: are green switches too hard? I ask that because I type like an angry 1920's typist so every other switch I've used seem mushy to me (except blues, but it sounds like a machine gun when I type in them)
Does anyone else find the louder clicky sounding ones to be a bit therapeutic or is it just me? I prefer blue switches when I type, regardless of what I'm typing, be it an essay or whatever.

Do gateron browns FEEL the same as gateron blues?
Hi, they are different. Brown feels tactile, blue feels clicky. You can go to this link: ruclips.net/video/rFLWyTZTAbY/видео.html to hear the difference.
To have tested both; the blue one have a secondary internal moving part that clicks, the brown are like reds but with a bump
