Great job describing this topic. I’m a bit put out by other comments suggesting half truths. Thanks for posting this video.
Glad you enjoyed it

Apparently, you’ve never studied the gospel in depth and are relying on opinions of others
@_inveterate Galatians 1:8-9 KJV
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

@@Tiberius-good scripture and you can quote that scripture all you want. Meanwhile could you please let me know what’s the original gospel? Where are the prophets? Apostles? miracles? Why are there thousands of so-called Christian denominations with contradictory teachings and beliefs? Rather than arguing with me, why don’t you actually study the Book of Mormon and ask God if it’s true?
I like your short form videos but you are the ultimate apologist. Are you aware that between 1985 to 2001 the church donated on average $40-70 Million per year in humanitarian aid? It wasn’t until the Ensign Peak whistle blower claim that the church started donating closer to $1 Billion annually. Although this is a substantial step forward, $1 Billion is a very low percentage to their annual surplus and investment gains. This is not what Jesus taught.

What is the source of those numbers?
@@brettmajeske3525 I’ll see if I can find them again and post them. They are straight from a church publication and a quote from Elder Oaks.
@@Commenter2121 I think you might be misunderstanding, if you are referring to the talk I think you might be. There is certainly a difference in extemporaneously talking about good done, and official budget numbers. Oaks was not talking about all humanitarian work, but rather specifics about the good that had been done by a single program of the Church. Those numbers would not have included all the other charitable welfare programs.

"Where does the mormon church's wealth come from?" According to this video, thin air
Did you not watch the video at all? it clearly explains that the money comes from tithing and investment portfolios. They even explained that tithing only goes toward church functions while investment portfolios go toward other investments.
@@dr.downsyndrome1844 lol. Where does the investment principal come from? Tithing. They like to pretend as if it's not the same money. Plane and simple, we the tithe payers are the sour e of the realestate empire that is the lds church
@@dr.downsyndrome1844 what they failed to explain is where did the seed money for the investment portfolio come from? Tithing. It’s all “sacred” but then blurred so they can spend it on malls and bailing out an insurance company, etc.
@@dr.downsyndrome1844 Exactly! Investment portfolios that the LDS Church illegally hid because they were afraid members might stop donating if they found out how much wealth the Church had built in secret. And, while they were secretly and illegally hiding their wealth, Church Leadership told Vice President Mohadi, who had made a specific request for support with the development of clean-water wells in more remote areas of Zimbabwe, that, ‘We are not a wealthy people but we are good people, and we share what we have,’ (Elder Andersen meets with Zimbabwe's Vice President Mohadi, pledges support: A Historic Visit, 9 December 2018 - Harare, Zimbabwe, LDS Church News Release)
Yet, at the time of this statement, the Church held over $105 billion in invested cash. (Widow's Mite Report) And, the Church did not “share” any of that fund to help develop clean-water wells in Zimbabwe. Instead, the Church continued to hoard and hide it and ended up being charged and fined by the SEC for violating disclosure regulations.
