Thank you for reviewing it and giving us your insight into the various elements that were brought forth by the Pakistani musicians here. So the drummer is the incredible Bilawal Lahooti. Discovered and brought to us by Xulfi here in this series and now the drummer of band Karakoram. U saw him before in Coke Studio 14’s first song, Ye Dunya, that you covered. He’s the guy with the beautiful curly hair. He’s got mad techniques and he was obviously a few years younger here but his skills were unmatched even then; he’s only finessed his craft by now. He features as a drummer in various other songs of Nescafé Basement and you have seen him drumming in other songs of Coke Studio 14 too. He’s simply amazing. He’s now the drummer of Pakistani band, Karakoram. The Ye Dunya song from Coke Studio Season 14 that you first reacted to… he was drumming there too. He’s the guy with the beautiful curly hair hehe. It’s hard to miss him 👍😊. For me, the beautiful mix of sitar, tabla, flute, Rubab and his drums was just so ethereal honestly. This version is my favourite cover of the original song and yes, if it makes me biased, so be it lol. The vocalist with the spectacular range of vocals is Altamash Sever. He was one of the vocalists from BSB’s larger than life cover. He can sing anything and everyone in his unique style and I don’t think there are many vocalists out there like him. He’s truly a gem of Pakistan. If you are going down the list, I think your next song will be Fanaa. That one is a haunting song that is just a treat for the soul honestly. Penned down and sung by the superb Sherry Khattak - he’s the vocalist of band Karakoram again (one with the drummer Bilawal) and he’s the same guy whose scream last for 13s in Ye Dunya’s song from Coke Studio Season 14. I recall you enjoying his vocals there too. He may not be recognizable to you at first because in Fanaa song, he was much younger and clean shaven. So the rocker look was missing but the talent, nonetheless, was still Immense!! I am hopeful that you will enjoy Fanaa too. Xulfi (the musician / producer of Nescafé Basement) did an incredible thing by highlighting many emerging artists of Pakistani music at the time this series got released. He brought forth to the world the future of Pakistani musicians and they have indeed become the flag bearers of Pakistani music in today’s world. So thankful to him for all the efforts that he had put forth into the young talent at the time - a sign of a true music lover and one who’s also a musical genius. Can’t wait for more reactions 🤘

They were all college kids brought together by Producer Xulfi to perform, for main vocalist this was his first big performance he has an amazing range as u said with low growly sounds and also soft with second verse start and then those highs but unfortunately he did not get the fame he desrve. I heard him say in one of interviews they were in studio for more than a day waiting for their turn and their turn came at the middle of night. And not to forget that guitar solo doing justice to Slash solo, as u said they mad it into their own unlike other covers which makes it best and most underrated cover out there. Nescafe mostly has songs with young talent who perform in undergground bands or colleges etc Xulfi broughts them togetther and then features them with some experiened artists sometimes, most of these young artists in background with instrument i.e. house band were same and now have now become famous with when Xulfi went to Coke Studio for S14 he brought them with him to give them even a bigger stage.
