Definitely the best cover, and you are right they made it into almost a new song but keeping its soul original. Nescafe Basement brings young talent most of them still students colleges/high School together for these performances to give them a stage with good production, songs in this show are sometimes cover with their own mix in it and sometimes originals. This is no one band but mostly independent underground artists. Like the lead singer who has such versatile vocals this was his first such big production song and he once told that for this season Nescafe Basement was doing recording of different song back to back and they had to stay there for two days in studio and wait for their turn not knowing when they can call you and his turn came at 3-4am for both songs he recorded both days thus the get up and not giving damn but getting over with but it turned out great eventually. Some say Axl Rose tweeted this cover but i cant find it but its worth some getting recognition even if its done on the other side of the world but sadly Pakistan gets attention for all the wrong reasons lol...cheers P.S. you've identified instruments accurately but missed one that's 'Rubab'. Should listen it separately as it sound amazing. A Pakistani band Khumarian best uses it (you've reacted to one of their video, they produce mostly musicals)

I like guns "n" roses song. Specially this song i heard in 1988 in New York City. But not like this guy song which is singing now. Lots of modified & voice not like Guns 'n' roses type.❤❤❤❤I still listen this song been long long years.
This guy with the full stage setup and a more aggressive amping of the instruments would really carry a rock show. The levels are just a bit low on these excellent players. Love the arrangement. Reminds me of The Hu on Sad but True with horsehead fiddle swapped in... Which has that more aggressive sound I bet these guys could do too.
