Amazing. Wish I had a more amazing adjective. One of my all-time favorite power ballads, totally reimagined and yet still true to the original. I loved it.
Carl I've got an idea for you, try and connect with musician in Pakistan, grass roots, youtubers, and do a music documentary on Pakistan in pakistan . A lot of RUclips are going over there lately to taste the amazing food and amazing scenery of north Pakistan. You could do a different take .
8:03 see, what's going on here is something we call "JUGALBANDI" where (matching) instrument artists compete on like a beat (drums vs tabla here) or melody (Sitar vs Guitar earlier) And the audience gets to enjoy their mastery and art ❤❤ See how first makes a challenge and then the other plays it too but takes it to a higher notch
Bro only one thing you didn't talked about which was actually most important is the boy sung the song from Standard E tuning which one scale higher than the original one. Its good that by generations we still got our classic songs from all around the world and new people are singing them more better. Never to forget creator then creation and finally fusions
These musicians be like: Ok We've done sitar solo, we've done guitar solo, we've done drums solo but where do we go now? where do we go now? (still cant figure out) where do we go now? WHERE DO WE GOOO NOW A A A A A A A Where do we go now? 😜
Thank you for this. Would love it if you did Larger than life from Nescafé Basement and Baazi from Coke Studio Pakistan. Please. You’re actually one of the best vocal coaches who reacts to good content.
@@hafsahahmad99 Hmm, But if he is compared to the likes of Sam Smith then i guess he has an exceptional voice. He has a very good range and blessed with superb pipes
@@sherryinxs I guess compared to western singers then yeah he's a good singer, but I feel there are much much better singers in Pakistan that deserve reaction more. Mulazim Hussain and Mohsin abbas Haider for starters. Just my opinion :) God bless
Love watching ur reactions coz u give technical knowledge and these help the singers especially in nescafe basement as they are still students. Im glad u dont hold back from giving constructive criticism even and pointing areas of improvements coz it helps viewers to not make similar mistakes.
you talked over some of the best parts. you said nothing about the amazing harmony, especially right before the second chorus. you said nothing about the Sitar guitar, the India bongos. There are so many cool things about the structure of the song that did not seem to register with you...
Portrayed by western media as chief producer of terrorists. But noone ever focuses on the positives.... they also produce amazing musicians amongst many other positive things.
Due to poor situation in India, lots of Indians left for Western countries compared to Pakistan where situation is not that poor,. Those Indians instead of improving condition back home, just focus to do propaganda against Pakistan lol

You should definitely check out "Nescafe Basement Akhiyan Udeek Diyan " You will be amazed by the voices and notes of the singers. It's originally sung by Ustad Nusraf Fateh Ali Khan so you can guess the quality of it. Also it was the best and most listened song of its respective season.
Always, i mean always love ur reactions.. they are informative, mature and just fun to watch someone who knows music is reacting to good music..thanks for doing this.. Please react to "Aik Alif, Noori & Saieen Zahoor" from Coke Studio
Thanks man for doing this reaction video I loved this song when I heard it first time back in 14 I guess. Nescafé Basement n Coke Studio are two best music shows in Pakistan. Proud of this singer Altamash perhaps best vocalist in Pakistan 😍
Hi Carl, it would be more interesting if you could please summerize the whole thing at the end of the song, I find you mostly discussing about the process, talk something about the out come as well
Please please please do more coke studio songs I'm absolutely loving these videos. Some of the songs you could do are shikwa jawab-e-shikwa, chal diyay, aaqa, bibi sanam janem, sammi meri waar and aaya laariye. Trust me none of these will let you down as far as the vocals go
Hi Carl! I love your reaction videos and would love your reaction to “mundari” and “ith naheen “ from Cole studio Pakistan (if they pass your criteria). I think the voices are amazing in these two pieces
U missed so much...in the 2 verse he dropped an octave came down to head voice...before 2 verse u said nothing about the flawless. No mention of Indian bongos , perfect meter, perfect space between notes...there is so much more
Nice reaction man..what are the chances that they are lip syncing to the pre recorded session or do you think it's easy to pull off something like that live?

@@samtaylor7279 wow I hope that was sarcasm! (But just in case). ... his Vocal instrument, his vocal chords, are referred to as “pipes”. ☺️
The lead singer Altamash and I went to the same school, he used to perform there as well, he was amazing back then too!!

I really love this cover. The arrangement is great and the singers voice is unique.
Just everything's easy for them (Pakistanis) to sing man! I'm jealous 😈

Do we get naturally these type of voices or is there any practice we can do to develop this
You can't develop the vocal range. You born with it. And these Pakistanis are gifted with it for some reason. Just take Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Sir you can't point any mistakes They are 200 % perfect even Sir Legend Axel Rose n Sir Legend Slash would give this crew a positive remark
