It's nice to have one even if you're not planning on using it much. Frigor and levitate are useful for platforming, especially if you don't have sky rapture. And sopor is handy if you're trying to kill something with defenses that are little to high for you/your pawns.
Get ready for the fame when dogma 2 comes out and your content is slapping. Monster hunter world blew up with its current gen launch and thrust the series into the limelight. Dogma 2 will do the same and you’ll be the best content creator on it. Good luck and bring the A game.
@candyman copium to say a current gen massive open world game is gonna do numbers? A game that is the dream child of its director and fully backed by the company? A game that is the upcoming sequel to a predecessor that has suddenly found a small resurgence in today’s market? A game that will essentially be a more casual elden ring to the average buyer? Read that one again, is it really copium to think a more casual friendly elden ring would sell gangbusters rn? The first dogma game was poorly marketed, and was a bit too niche. Capcom is fully positioned to make sure this one goes perfect. I’m not gonna let some internet bozo tell me that an entirely reasonable dose of optimism is foolish. Being hopeful is a good and healthy thing for people to do. Find something better to pick on people for, or just stop making all your online interactions “based” and “dank” and interact like a normal person.
@@calebfoley5872 more casual eldne ring is a farce thing to say DD is alot more unforgiving then elden ring for new and unexperienced players just ask the Saurians in the well lol
@@calebfoley5872 totally agree, mate. Dragons dogma is one of the most underrated games of all time, altough it is one of the best RPG games ever made in the video game history. Sometimes I think it is because it was released almost at the same season of Skyrim.... Skyrim took the attention of the entire planet between 2011 and 2014. The same happened with Kingdoms of Amalur... a great RPG, but equally underrated, as DD, unfortunetely.
don't forget the best upside to mystic staff knight, being able to get up to the ledge to selene's house without going all the way around to the forest
If you cast Abyssal Anguish on your staff as a MK, like with swords and mace weapons it can amplify certain attacks and spells done with the staff. I found out by accident one day casting Anguish then using Brontide, did so crazy damage to a garm.
Immediately opening with another perfect block montage. I see you, lol. Man, I've never even *seen* an MK build using a staff before. Something about it just feels "wrong", like seeing an Assassin using a shield. This was a really cool showcase of how strong it can actually be! Also, just a general aside, but your editing, humor, and comedic timing are genuinely some of the best around. That second form Daimon death had me dying, lmao.
MK Staff might be underrated, but you will have to pry my mace from my cold dead hands :p P.S. those chained perfect block edits were so clean, exquisitely done
This is actually how I usually play mystic knight. I also like that at one point while casting, it looked like your character was nodding along with the music.
My favorite part was 2:42. I don't know why, but seeing your shield floating in front of you while you were getting ready to cast Holy Retribution looked really cool.
This is why Mystic Knight is my Top Favourite Vocation to play as. I do use the Staff as MK from time to time and it's quite fun. Sword/Mace for Melee Combat plus Cannon and Sigil Spam. The Staff, aside inflicting Sleep can grant you Levitate to add more distance to your jumps when needed. And the Magick Shield for anything variety of buffs and ripostes. Mystic Knight has a nice balance of Melee and Magic, plus being versatile against any form of enemies if you know what you're doing.
Big fan of staff Mystic Knight. Using Abyssal Anguish with a staff makes it into a cool beam effect emanating from the head of the staff. Sopor with a rusted staff can also cause torpor and poison.
max rusted staff will inflict topor and poison on high sopor so makes the sleep last longer and they get up slower also anguish works w brontide if you get close the swinging animation for brontide actually has hits that hit anguish so you are getting both hits and it just deletes sleeping enemies like this
After playing so much Elden Ring, I really hope Dragon's Dogma 2 has something like the Carian slicer spell from that game specifically for Mystic Knight.
Too small scale for a game like Dragon’s dogma. The only reason why carian slicer is good is cause mages can’t use swords in that game (and because carian slicer does damage that can get a little silly with buffs) Something like carian piercer? Sure, but 10x bigger and cooler
No Mystic Knight unfortunately, but instead we have a freaking Jedi spearman with flourishes, acrobatics, a force field to block attacks and apparently a teleport. That seems amazing.
Its actually crazy how dog water Holy Retribution is. I think I did some testing once and the ONLY thing it has going off the BBI item version is that it is capable of doing more damage because it has stat scaling. I say "capable" because it still does not do damage. It still eats your stamina, which the BBI version does not do I think. Also its unlisted but it grants increased stamina regen to everything inside the field for its duration, which is cool but also locked behind a skill that takes way too long to cast. Man I wish Holy Retribution was good...
Love to see this as someone who mainly plays with a staff rather than a melee weapon on magic hybrid classes this is really fun to watch and not to mention the edits still makes me laugh so hard 😂
i love and adore blocking frostwyms and frying them with comestion, never gets old. or anything for that matter, comestion on stunned enemies my beloved
I believed you when you said you added this to your list of things to do. I didn't realize you'd get to it this fast, lol. Thanks for taking my suggestion! And sorry if it sounded like a demand when I posted it - I read my comment back afterwards and it seemed kind of mean-spirited. xD
To this day, I still cannot determine if Infinite Cringe sounds like a pre-pubescent boy, or an adult of the female variety. Anyways, DD2 LET’S FUCKING GOOO
"Aha, time to go to bed and get a good night's sleep. Oh, wait, Cringe uploaded. Nevermind, time to binge her videos for a couple of more hours." Unrelated, I think some of the Attack on Titan OST would be fun as backing tracks for these videos. Like "DOA" for a Strider video. I would indeed the pointing wojak if you were to do Brain Splitter on a Gorecyclops with that song in the background.
I always keep a staff for mobility purposes, High Frigor is my beloved. But I should probably git gud with it to have a backup weapon that isn't one of my 5 elemental swords.
I could've went my whole life without knowing that the BBI map looks like a uterus. But now I'm going to tell everyone I know this wonderful information.
The BBI uterus map is symbolic of the fact that every DD player spends 9 months building their character there before seeing any other part of the game.
Dragon's Dogma turns 11 years old today. The official twitter hasn't posted anything yet and I'm malding.
Edit: Dogma 2 trailer's out. We eating well.
It's so over
Well, at least *you* remembered.
At least the official DD youtube account (Infinite Cringe) posted something
wdym? you are the official twitter.
That's funny, I just turned 18 years old today :)
This is the first time I'm seeing MK staff in action, I completely forgot the class even has staff access.
It's nice to have one even if you're not planning on using it much. Frigor and levitate are useful for platforming, especially if you don't have sky rapture. And sopor is handy if you're trying to kill something with defenses that are little to high for you/your pawns.
So you are saying you missed out? Play one today. 👍
Using staff for Magic Archer is my go to for Role-Playing purposes.
Wait, mystic knight has other weapons than shield?
Right? I was used to just going BONK with the mace, or using the orb to launch projectiles.

Bitter Black Uterus sounds like the place where Rook was spawned before they kicked him out for being too powerful.

I just put a port crystal there.
You don’t need a staff to do that lmao just have to be Mk or mage duh
I like the part where she said "It's mystic knight time" and started mystic knighting
Can we please let this joke die

Big fan of staff Mystic Knight. Using Abyssal Anguish with a staff makes it into a cool beam effect emanating from the head of the staff. Sopor with a rusted staff can also cause torpor and poison.
And then there's Grand Sopor, which is just ridiculous. Definitely agree with the rusted staff, though. That thing is just too effective.
I always laugh when I use Abyssal Anguish on staffs, looks like some kind of dark lightsaber spear 😂
max rusted staff will inflict topor and poison on high sopor so makes the sleep last longer and they get up slower

The Mystic Knight parry is so good that I want Capcom to re-use the assets for it in DD2.

Holy freak, this is the most creative and funniest dragons dogma video i've ever seen hahaha
oh man, I can't say it enough but your editing and meme choices are amazing.
2:58 I never thought I'd come across someone referencing a sound clip from a village hidden in the memes yet here we are.
the last part was definitely something... you learn something new everyday. I sure did
A Mystic Knight with a staff is the true embodiment of a Sir.
i love and adore blocking frostwyms and frying them with comestion, never gets old.

Last 5 seconds were very much needed, thank you! XD
This channel's content Rifts my Crystals
can't wait to hear about your DD2 trailer impressions!
A uterus you say? Yeah a uterus of DARKNESS, KACHOW
YO! Someone showing off mystik knight staff stuff! Feels like it's overall underrated as a weapon but it's not to be slept on!
You deserve at least 100k subs.... and verification for the amount of effort you put in your vids.
This was delightful. Thank you!
You start off a Dragons Dogma video with Sonic and The Secret Rings OST in the background...hold this Sub
Thanks for the subway surfers footage I could feel my attention span dropping
Dino run, my nostalgia overflows
Whenever I'm at bitterblack harbour I'll always think of the uterus now... thanks for that wisdom
I watched this in hospital 👍
Stayed for the Dino Run gameplay
My prayers was answered
Holy shit you are alive
Funny enough, the harbor map thing looks like a fishing hook as well. Keep up the great content.
Demonswrath has been the sole reason for at least one of my returns to DDDA. shit's bussin.
Dragons dogma 2 trailer jus dropped!!
My favorite way of playing MK. Using anguish on a staff and jump attacking is crisp.
Can't wait for Chunk Lord 2.0 (New and Enhanced) when DD2 comes out.
I’m so glad someone loves this game as much as me
It's a fun time and Sopor is a great answer to a lot of nasty beasties but the temptation to Holy Bolt my troubles away is strong.
I believed you when you said you added this to your list of things to do. I didn't realize you'd get to it this fast, lol.
Thanks for taking my suggestion! And sorry if it sounded like a demand when I posted it - I read my comment back afterwards and it seemed kind of mean-spirited. xD
Nah your comment sounded fine. It was a good idea and the video was fun to make.
It was a nice song, thank you for sharing oh master of the uterus dungeon!
Thanks I almost couldn’t watch it until you had a family guy funny moment
Ah yes the "Pimp named Slickback" Build.
Holy focus bolt is fair and perfectly balanced 👍
My favoite part was when daimon said "Its dark arisening time!" And began dark arisening all over the place
To this day, I still cannot determine if Infinite Cringe sounds like a pre-pubescent boy, or an adult of the female variety. Anyways, DD2 LET’S FUCKING GOOO
just here to comment i been known this, great video
You enlightened my night
Did you know... You can Abyssal Anguish your staff! :D
So underrated
Last revelation caught me off guard.🤔

1:21 Dino Run mentioned :')
That triple though... oof
Nothing scarier than a mage that doesn't die when you hit them
Love your videos!!!! I hope dragon's dogma 2 come out soon.
I could've went my whole life without knowing that the BBI map looks like a uterus. But now I'm going to tell everyone I know this wonderful information.
Well done
I used Grand Sopor and Holy Retribution with my Magick-oriented Arisen 8)
Ah wth, I've seen so many of ur vids and posts on my timeline that I thought I was subbed but now I wasn't this whole time???
I've NEVER seen Holy Retribution what!!!
I genuinely didn't know this was a thing
Hell yeah
Now all that's left is dagger and shield assassin 🙂
i have play this game since 2015 but i never tried this build. Infinite cringe gives this idea and im gonna try this
Pew pew shield bash
I hate that the metal pole noise gets me laughing hard every time… but I love that other people enjoy it too
I usually end up using a staff more than any weapon, mainly I liked the idea of heavy armor battle mage
honestly never seen a mystic knight with a staff before. gotta re play the game :>
DRAGONS DOGMA 2 BAYBEEEEEEE
literally any monster in the game when holy affinity plus hold then release x with a staff equipped:
I turned 11 days old today
I love this shit.
Good job

Nah, it still s*cks. Need my virge of madness for the drip alone
Yes, I'm actually doing this run on my steam deck rn
Now that i know what staff mk looks like im gonna keep not trying it out, thank you.
on god I was struggling with phase 2 daimon and I swapped to the staff killed him first go
holy focus bolt is so balanced
Abyssal Anguish with Staff is underrated! Surprised you didn’t use it here.
Was fun to watch but mystic knight probably still needs a rework in 2
well edited and very funny. Funny to where I make my boyfriend watch it even if he knows absolutely nothing about the game
Bro, Blue Archive music? Pretty based ngl
