Do note btw that you can distract Twisted Pebbles as a 4 star speed distractor (Goob, Flutter, Sprout and Tisha) but it is really difficult and easier for Pebbles. - First things you need is a decently long island/obstacle. Too short and you will not be able to sufficiently slow pebbles down while looping. - Then the trick is when you getting chase and going around this obstacle/loop/island is to hug it sides really tight while not getting stuck/slow down. The Ai doesn't exactly pick the most optimal route for the twisted hitbox size so twisted pebble will slightly keep bumping into the obstacle side, and in turn slowing himself down. You still have to run and use up stamina but he will eventually lose you and start wandering, don't take him back for a bit to regen stamina and once you think you have enough for another round of chase, aggro him back to the loop/obstacle/island and do it again. - While doing this, you have to be very careful of your distance with pebbles as if you are too close then you will get hit and if you are too far from him, he could do a double back and surprise you then hit you. - Also also, you can't distract any other twisted with Peb and I do not recommend doing so.
That is why it's important to have 2 distractors! One can be main distractor for things like lesser twisteds or even some mains, the other can be an emergency distractor for Twisted Pebble! Doing that can really get you runs for higher floors!

Meaning you shouldn't try to distract other twisted along with Twisted Pebbles, it just doesn't work out well as Twisted Peb required you to be 100% focus on him in a solid pattern or say goodbye to your stamina and get hit. Here’s some more tips that I’ve found useful! Tisha definitely isn’t as good as Goob, but she’s a great low-budget distractor For Flutter, you unfortunately have absolutely no way to help people into the elevator BUT when panic mode starts you can distract fairly close to the elevator until the VERY end of panic mode, so that nobody gets hurt. Then, when panic mode is almost over, you can use her ability like an eject button and run straight into the elevator! One more thing, Razzle&Dazzle is actually a great distractor imo. Their walk speed on odd-numbered floors is as fast as pebble’s with the speedy shoes and dog toy. (not the run speed, though). They can only distract on odd floors, so they’re only good distractors if you have another distractor in the group. Make a plan that the other distractors distracts on even floors, you (R&D) on odd. If the other distractor dies before you, you can still distract on odd floors! Razzle & Dazzle is a very underrated character tbh, amazing extraction speed and amazing walkspeed (that’s faster than Goob, and as fast as Pebble with trinkets equipped) but they just switch. i'm beginner distractor, but here are some of my tips for fellow beginners, specifically tips that can be used while actively kiting!! i find that it helps to not get hit if you don't let the twisteds get too close for comfort. when looping around obstacles try to sprint at each turn, because each turn is when the twisteds slightly catch up with you. to avoid making them lose interest as you do this, try making the turn less sharp and more like the shape of a bow/arch. if you do this, you can successfully keep twisteds at an arm's length whilst still making sure they don't go after anyone else! and another thing: when you see that there's only one machine left unfinished, prepare yourself for the elevator to open and make sure the twisteds are extra far away from you, ESPECIALLY if you have a toodles or any speedier than average twisted chasing you. why? because in panic mode (when the elevator opens) the speed of all twisteds is increased, which has cost me some hearts multiple times because i wasn't careful. hope this helps!!
Another beginner here, I find that if a slower twisted like shimpo and fin or even teagan, who is slightly faster, is chasing me it makes it easier to lose track of them or the others, but looping around can sort of reset them so uh yeah 👍
as a distractor AND extractor i give this video a 10/10 i love the fact you point out goob's ability being soso useful, i use it to pull low movement speed toons who are good at extracting (vee, rodger) to a machine so it's easier!!! i also use it to pull people out from danger like how you did at 6:16 ! good work ushi :]
I've been practicing distractor for a while, and I've gotten pretty good at it. Obviously I make small mistakes, but that's apart of the process of learning and improving. Here are the things that I keep in mind when distracting: • Keep the twisteds away from machines or populated areas • Make sure that I have stamina in case of an emergency • Look around corners if you have a missing twisted that you haven't caught yet, you could get jumped • Make sure to make use of your toon's active ability / make sure to use your ability on the more important teammates (healers, other distractors, extractors, etc.) • Never lose focus! Focus is very vital and important in the game, and this game always demands attention • Communication! (I've noticed a lot of miscommunication or just not communicating at all, which is horrible in team-based games, so keep this in mind!!) If you read this, you're one step closer to being the distractor you've always dreamt of being! Happy gaming!
I'm more of a Pebble distractor myself, but still, great tips. Imma quickly add my two cents in; I recommend not immediately going to the ele, ESPECIALLY if there's someone with lower stealth than you. If you have 25 seconds, wait for maybe 5 or 10, you have plenty of time. Be attentive. If you know that someone with low speed is doing the last machine, try to loop a little longer. Smaller tips; If you're in a tight space (this won't work good with mains + Dandy), hug one wall and then loop around and past the twisteds, effectively putting yourself in front. (This is viewable but not specifically mentioned in the video), if you're dealing with twisteds like Finn and Shrimpo, circle around past the back to bring them to the front. Don't let the twisteds fall behind, that' how you get stuck in a bad situation and get yourself or others injured And finally, a tip for the rest of us; FOR GOD'S SAKE, STAY IN THE ELEVATOR DURING PANIC MODE, IT BARELY EVER TURNS OUT WELL
6:16 one time I was in panic mode, I was a distractor, but someone was standing out of the elevator who was afk. The twisteds who were following me before I got in the elevator started chasing them, but I pulled them in before they could even get hurt! Thx for the tutorial, ushi!
Yeah! I usually swap between RnD and Goob (depending on if we’re playing casual or not) but whenever I play RnD I usually do the swap role as a Dis/Ext Unironically one of my fav too s to play when I’m given the option cause it gives a challenge, managed floor 20 solo with them!
Tip for distracting toodles: when on an islander wrapping around it use a little stamina and by the point you wrap around again you will have full stamina so repeat it until floor is over.
Goob distractors can either be the absolute best (made it to floor 15 with Shelly, Dandy, and Pebble on his back. The skill to do that was insane, and even the ability to apologise if a Twisted had attacked anyone. He was a vintage skin, too) Or the absolute worst (Somehow didn't distract, and died (Which forced me, as a RODGER, to distract) 😊) Edit: Just had to distract as Connie- jjbwkajekwjqhkrbwjhdbd thank god her ability exists
No yeah a Goob once carried me to floor 21 (I was the only other toon, playing as Brightney) but other times they'll die on one of the first 5 floors to some common twisted (particularly twisted Tisha?? how do they always die to her)

How do you get rid of the ads that twisted Vee gives you though? Like when the room you're in gets real cramped and like I encountered a twisted Vee as goob in a blackout and there were quite a number of toons left and two brightnies and I had to find a good spot but the machines were so scattered the brightnies helped me locate all the twisteds but they kept moving so close to me when i was just camping an area with a completed machine and one of the brightney died when she tried to get research and when i tried to save her she died and an ad popped up so i couldnt see very well and got cornered and d!ed. Also um Im not quite sure but when using Goob's ability, when you pull someone into the elevator, will the toon lose a heart if there's a twisted in between us as I pull them in? And I haven't gotten a dog plush yet (Toodles just doesn't wanna see me D: ) So is Pink Bow and Speedy Shoes good enough for now?
Tip: if you have pebble one your floor, make it chase you and find something like boxes or anything, walk near(very) around the boxes than you will be faster than twisted pebble

As a distractor, you CAN distract toodles and shelly by just simply using small bursts of stamina since u cant really outwalk them, you can also distract vee and pebble but with obstacles. Tbh you can distract these twisteds, though it will need serious skill and patience. Though very good distractor guide video, keep up the content!
I ACTUALLY HAVE A PRETTY USEFUL TIP FOR THIS! If you're on computer and sticky keys keeps messing with you, go into your settings! You can disable the 5 shift shortcut and it makes it WAY easier to do this!

Idk if this was in the video but here’s some tips for distracting I see many people not now about. 1: if you see a player near by and your distracting around something DO NOT turn the corner to a spot where they cannot see you, then the twisted will not see you and go after the other player near by. 2: if there’s someone with lower stealth make sure they turn a corner to make the twisteds go after you and make sure they don’t come close. 3: (Goob and scraps) if you find yourself with Goob and/or with scraps have them chase you and if the circle your going around make sure your far ahead if it’s big and I don’t recommend doing small circles. I also recommend having another Distractor if you have scraps or Goob so you can only distract Goob and/or scraps. 4: (fast characters, mainly toodles, Shelly, and vee.) to distract toodles and Shelly you wanna go as straight as possible and sprint when your turning corners. For vee when she gives you the slow 2 Sprint only for her chasing ability so you can save stamina. (I didn’t include pebbles since he’s to fast and I would recommend you sneak around all twisteds if you have pebbles) 4: if your distracting around a machine I’m mobile so I like to chat while distracting so try and alert people about the machine and exit the spot when someone is going for it. please copy this around different videos and maybe make videos with these tips to have a higher chance for good Distractors
@@user-vv8ixI dont believe you can really at least not like for the whole floor because you’ll run out of stamina at some point :’) what I like to do is walk by someone whos getting chased and lead the twisteds away and lose the twisteds later so yes you can and cant distract ill show this in my next video :)
One thing to keep in mind is that when you're turning, your movement speed actually slows slightly. So for kiting Shelly and Toodles, the best course of action is to find an area where you can run straight as much as possible. It sounds weird, but it lets you conserve stamina because you keep a similar pace for the most part.
Idk if it’s just me but if a twisted toon gets too close I run a bit to avoid losing a life, I also think that you should not run at the start for some people who do it cause you will need that in the future:]!!
my tips on how to survive scraps: .HIDE BEHIND OBJECTS. .Do not panic every time you see a twisted, only use stamina when needed! .if she attacks you, do not worry and try to find bandaids .use bandaids/med kits when needed . try to get rid of her by hiding, eventually she will be uninterested. that is all! As a good-ish goob main distractor, i have some tips for distracting twisted dandy!! - he is SLOW , if you have speedy shoes and dog plush, you can easily out-walk him. I recommend saving ur stamina for panic mode when he gets faster. - Since he is a big twisted, his hitbox is kinda big. Since he is a big back, distract near a large area where you can easily loop around. I usually distract near large islands where i can loop around and keep him at a safe distance. -thats all. hes pretty easy to distract. just be careful not to loop around small areas, such as a single box. i hope yall found this helpful if yall idk how to distract T. Dandy!!

I am a learning Goob distractor and I am trying my best. This video helped out a lot and I need to keep in mind that I should help when I can. I also not that good at distracting more then 2 twisteds at a time but I will keep in mind the speed of every twisted. I will have to try out the tips that you said but I might not get the hang of it until later on.

I main brightney and I can distract anything other than toodles and some mains!! the 1 star stealth means i can just walk right through people without losing agro :] watching distracting tutorials definitely helps with mains and leaning movement technique, tysm for making this!! (note: t.finn has the same speed as t.shrimpo, so hes a problem for the same reason)
Distracting is a good way to get research too! You get research not only from capsules, but from encountering twisteds. I know this is commonly known, but I just want to point it out.
Once I duo’d with a goob who used his ability as soon as it recharged and didn’t distract or extract making me do everything and die on floor 3 to scraps
what i like to do to keep some consistency with arching(turning) and kiting is when the area has rugs, i like to refrence it so i have a little bit of an easier time kiting
If you use dog plush and ribbion, you get a 20%speed boost on even floors, so if there's another distractor, they can't distract on odd floors while you're on even

super late to this but if you're seeing this and you're trying to get a good run, always have two distractors!!! if a t. pebbles is in a run, it's much better to have two people distracting, one on t. pebbles (preferably a pebbles distracting him), and one of the other twisteds. since you have to constantly sprint to get away from t. pebbles, you end up losing the other twisteds a lot, so having two distractors makes this so much easier. (ESPECIALLYYYYYYY if a vee is on the same floor)

I was so excited to get goob, and the first round I went to be goob, it was a horrible experience, I was being bullied for not distracting and for being supporter, and the nasty words they have said to me. And blamed me for half of the teams death. They all yelled at me in caps, I can't believe people have turned into this as Dandy world grows, but thanks for this video, it really helps so I won't have to experience that again.
if you have a hard time finding twisteds in your floor, have a vee in your team and then when they use their ability you can spot the twisteds on where they are, and a little tips for distracting is to not run most of the time because this can make the twisted lose you and chase another toon, instead walk slowly and loop around shelves/boxes and run if they are too close, also watch out for twisteds turning to the other side when looping since they might catch you easily. and also if you are distracting fast twisteds you can use these trinkets “dog plush, speedy shoes” and they make your walk speed 15% and run speed 5%, which makes you have a little bit of a boost, and to avoid the fast twisteds loop around shelves and run if you need to.
Tip: goob can distract pebbles, but it's extremely hard, if you see pebbles on a floor, get him aggroed to you with an air horn if you have one In Rush to a long idle and run around it Hugging the sides, only Sprint if you have to
also one tip for goob is if almost all the machines are done and your distracting an fast twisted sprint in the areas you would NOT wanna be in painic mode (like your distracting toodles and shes near you and you sprint so if panic mode happens you dont get hit)

In my opinion from past experiences, vee is surprisingly easy to distract I'd recommend only sprinting when she makes you slow.

Goob distractors can either be the absolute best (made it to floor 15 with Shelly, Dandy, and Pebble on his back. The skill to do that was insane, and even the ability to apologise if a Twisted had attacked anyone. He was a vintage skin, too) Or the absolute worst (Somehow didn't distract, and died (Which forced me, as a RODGER, to distract) 😊)

No yeah a Goob once carried me to floor 21 (I was the only other toon, playing as Brightney) but other times they'll die on one of the first 5 floors to some common twisted (particularly twisted Tisha?? how do they always die to her)
Always on the abcs the distractor die, well i gonna try distract with tisha bc i have tisha, now i play always with toodles but i gonna play with tisha again someday

How do you get rid of the ads that twisted Vee gives you though? Like when the room you're in gets real cramped and like I encountered a twisted Vee as goob in a blackout and there were quite a number of toons left and two brightnies and I had to find a good spot but the machines were so scattered the brightnies helped me locate all the twisteds but they kept moving so close to me when i was just camping an area with a completed machine and one of the brightney died when she tried to get research and when i tried to save her she died and an ad popped up so i couldnt see very well and got cornered and d!ed. Also um Im not quite sure but when using Goob's ability, when you pull someone into the elevator, will the toon lose a heart if there's a twisted in between us as I pull them in? And I haven't gotten a dog plush yet (Toodles just doesn't wanna see me D: ) So is Pink Bow and Speedy Shoes good enough for now?
Tip: if you have pebble one your floor, make it chase you and find something like boxes or anything, walk near(very) around the boxes than you will be faster than twisted pebble
I absolutely hate when Brightney or Shrimpo users keep coming near me when I distract especially when they underestimate how hard the job is.

As a distractor, you CAN distract toodles and shelly by just simply using small bursts of stamina since u cant really outwalk them, you can also distract vee and pebble but with obstacles. Tbh you can distract these twisteds, though it will need serious skill and patience. Though very good distractor guide video, keep up the content!

If you're on computer and sticky keys keeps messing with you, go into your settings! You can disable the 5 shift shortcut and it makes it WAY easier to do this!
Your really good I just got goob about a week ago and this helped me a lot im still to scared to distract mains (and twisted dandy) who arent astro but maybe I will get over it love the tutorial

Idk if this was in the video but here’s some tips for distracting I see many people not now about. 1: if you see a player near by and your distracting around something DO NOT turn the corner to a spot where they cannot see you, then the twisted will not see you and go after the other player near by. 2: if there’s someone with lower stealth make sure they turn a corner to make the twisteds go after you and make sure they don’t come close. 3: (Goob and scraps) if you find yourself with Goob and/or with scraps have them chase you and if the circle your going around make sure your far ahead if it’s big and I don’t recommend doing small circles. I also recommend having another Distractor if you have scraps or Goob so you can only distract Goob and/or scraps. 4: (fast characters, mainly toodles, Shelly, and vee.) to distract toodles and Shelly you wanna go as straight as possible and sprint when your turning corners. For vee when she gives you the slow 2 Sprint only for her chasing ability so you can save stamina. (I didn’t include pebbles since he’s to fast and I would recommend you sneak around all twisteds if you have pebbles) 4: if your distracting around a machine I’m mobile so I like to chat while distracting so try and alert people about the machine and exit the spot when someone is going for it. please copy this around different videos and maybe make videos with these tips to have a higher chance for good Distractors

@@user-vv8ixI dont believe you can really at least not like for the whole floor because you’ll run out of stamina at some point :’) what I like to do is walk by someone whos getting chased and lead the twisteds away and lose the twisteds later so yes you can and cant distract ill show this in my next video :)

One thing to keep in mind is that when you're turning, your movement speed actually slows slightly. So for kiting Shelly and Toodles, the best course of action is to find an area where you can run straight as much as possible. It sounds weird, but it lets you conserve stamina because you keep a similar pace for the most part.
Idk if it’s just me but if a twisted toon gets too close I run a bit to avoid losing a life, I also think that you should not run at the start for some people who do it cause you will need that in the future:]!!

my tips on how to survive scraps:
.HIDE BEHIND OBJECTS.
.Do not panic every time you see a twisted, only use stamina when needed!
.if she attacks you, do not worry and try to find bandaids
.use bandaids/med kits when needed
. try to get rid of her by hiding, eventually she will be uninterested.

I think the ranged attack is every 8 seconds, so hide behind an object when it starts then get her on you again
Avoid toons with lower stealth, etc

As a good-ish goob main distractor, i have some tips for distracting twisted dandy!!
- he is SLOW , if you have speedy shoes and dog plush, you can easily out-walk him. I recommend saving ur stamina for panic mode when he gets faster.
- Since he is a big twisted, his hitbox is kinda big. Since he is a big back, distract near a large area where you can easily loop around. I usually distract near large islands where i can loop around and keep him at a safe distance.
-thats all. hes pretty easy to distract. just be careful not to loop around small areas, such as a single box. i hope yall found this helpful if yall idk how to distract T. Dandy!!

I am a learning Goob distractor and I am trying my best. This video helped out a lot and I need to keep in mind that I should help when I can. I also not that good at distracting more then 2 twisteds at a time but I will keep in mind the speed of every twisted. I will have to try out the tips that you said but I might not get the hang of it until later on.

I main brightney and I can distract anything other than toodles and some mains!! the 1 star stealth means i can just walk right through people without losing agro :] watching distracting tutorials definitely helps with mains and leaning movement technique, tysm for making this!!

Distracting is a good way to get research too! You get research not only from capsules, but from encountering twisteds. I know this is commonly known, but I just want to point it out.
this did a really good job at DISTRACTING me from being a bad distractor
Once I duo’d with a goob who used his ability as soon as it recharged and didn’t distract or extract making me do everything and die on floor 3 to scraps

what i like to do to keep some consistency with arching(turning) and kiting is when the area has rugs, i like to refrence it so i have a little bit of an easier time kiting

If you use dog plush and ribbion, you get a 20%speed boost on even floors, so if there's another distractor, they can't distract on odd floors while you're on even

super late to this but if you're seeing this and you're trying to get a good run, always have two distractors!!! if a t. pebbles is in a run, it's much better to have two people distracting, one on t. pebbles (preferably a pebbles distracting him), and one of the other twisteds. since you have to constantly sprint to get away from t. pebbles, you end up losing the other twisteds a lot, so having two distractors makes this so much easier. (ESPECIALLYYYYYYY if a vee is on the same floor)

I was so excited to get goob, and the first round I went to be goob, it was a horrible experience, I was being bullied for not distracting and for being supporter, and the nasty words they have said to me. And blamed me for half of the teams death. They all yelled at me in caps, I can't believe people have turned into this as Dandy world grows, but thanks for this video, it really helps so I won't have to experience that again.

if you have a hard time finding twisteds in your floor, have a vee in your team and then when they use their ability you can spot the twisteds on where they are, and a little tips for distracting is to not run most of the time because this can make the twisted lose you and chase another toon, instead walk slowly and loop around shelves/boxes and run if they are too close, also watch out for twisteds turning to the other side when looping since they might catch you easily.
and also if you are distracting fast twisteds you can use these trinkets “dog plush, speedy shoes” and they make your walk speed 15% and run speed 5%, which makes you have a little bit of a boost, and to avoid the fast twisteds loop around shelves and run if you need to.

Tip: goob can distract pebbles, but it's extremely hard, if you see pebbles on a floor, get him aggroed to you with an air horn if you have one In Rush to a long idle and run around it Hugging the sides, only Sprint if you have to
also one tip for goob is if almost all the machines are done and your distracting an fast twisted sprint in the areas you would NOT wanna be in painic mode (like your distracting toodles and shes near you and you sprint so if panic mode happens you dont get hit)
