i main goob, so here's a few tips on distracting:
When panic mode activates, ALWAYS have a chocolate on you. The 10% speed boost may help a little bit.
Its possible to distract goob/scraps with any other twisted on you. Just bait out their attacks while having the other twisted chase you. Looping around islands is ESSENTIAL.
the only twisted you should avoid distracting is pebble, for obvious reasons.
But if youre feeling a little risky you can try to distract him, if you have a speed item on.
You don't need chocolate in panic mode unless the Twisteds are that sparsely spread apart, you outrun every twisted in the game apart from Pebbles in Panic timer, nothing that a single Supression card can't fix. What you want is more Bottle of Pops and Medkits and leave the Box of Chocolates to slower Extractors like Vee and Shelly (Who will always use Participation + Magnifying Glass).
This part is correct.
You can distract pebbles without taking a hit and running much, hug the wall of an isle that's jagged, sprint every now and then while walking if you can, Twisted Pebbles will always go around the isle slower than you can unless you screw up hugging the isle. You can even do it with double pebbles, all you need to do is let another distractor distract the other twisteds so that they don't interfere.
The biggest killer for every distractor is really Vee, kiting him while dealing with other Toodles, Shelly, and other MCs or Snipers is atrocious, you can however deal with Sprout + Vee relatively easily though as long as you take straight lines most of the time. This is where Astro and Tisha become valuable.

@@freaky.feet_tickler You are the same speed as Panic Twisted Glisten with both speed trinkets on, and slightly slower than Twisted Pebbles. Often it's okay to take a hit rather than to take chocolate over a healing item or a soda pop, best way to kite Pebs in Panic mode is to drag him around a jagged isle, this will slow him down a lot allowing you to outrun him in Panic Mode easily then to ele.

@chloemcdougal9704 He's like a decimal slower than Goob, with one Suppression card he's around Twisted Toodle's speed in Panic mode.
If you're struggling with escaping from Glisten as a Distractor at the end of a floor there better be something else that makes it hard, otherwise, severe skill issue.

If a capsule doesn't have film tape on it, its twisted rodger. IF ITS NAKED, ITS FAKED
Running into twisted RnD = Death, you must walk
If you see twisted Glisten, when someone is on the last machine run as close to the elevator as you can, as he is the fastest twisted in the game.

It's pretty easy to distract goob and scraps on their own or with non MC Twisteds, small isle and sprint when you feel like they're going to shoot, once you get used to it you can even just stop moving at certain points to attract their aggro all over again.

It took me a while while playing to realize capsules tell you who the twisteds are, ever since I found out, I look for capsules as soon as I get on the floor to see who I'm dealing with.
(Tip: You can tell a Rodger capsule is a Rodger capsule if it doesn't have two stripes.)

That Rodger was wearing sweet charm (twisted cosmos trinket) and it reduces the time for active ability’s and Rodger has a passive abil so it bat was going through his head when he selected his trinkets 😂

Fun fact, astro is actually going to be faster than twisted toodles in the next update, so he WILL be catching up
Here’s a tip add toodles plushie and glisten mirror trinket! Because the glisten mirror gives more speed for panick mode!
Its only for run speed (glisten mirror), not walk speed
Quick tip: When collecting the capsules,it will say " 1% ______ research collected! " This research will basically tell you which twisteds are on your floor. This usually helps when distracting,it helps know if you have all of them or not. If you collect research for a twisted you aren't distracting,you'll know to go look for it :3

Heya cyberhaptic i got a tip for GOOB! best trinkets are speedy shoes you can get in the shop and dog plush you can get it from get 100 on twisted toodles! always wait for the last toon to get in the elevator because the last toons might be late or slow so always keep a eye out on the toons in the elevator Tip 2 brightney glisten shrimpo and vee these toons should not be near you because the twisteds might go after them than you so always keep an eye out for these toons and twisted shrimpo can see better than any twisted so they go after them faster and don't be near the toons doing machines go around something in a place where most of the other toons wont be at like the broken elevator many of toons wont be there only for machines! Tip Done bye!

As a Goob main, i'm so happy to see people playing on Goob PROPERLY.. In Lobby there's low-key SO MANY GOOBS WITH WRONG TRINKETS, It literally makes me so sad.. 😭
I mean.. In the rules of the game there's no rule, that Goob can't extract at all but.. Bro, there's so darn many characters more suitable for extraction than him :'
And!
Actually it's kinda easy to distract both Goob/Scraps and Toodles/Shelly, if you have an object to loop around and some stamina.
(Toodles/Shelly is fast enough to catch up to you only when you're taking turns. While walking in the straight line in non-panic mode they're too slow to catch you)
You can kite both Toodles and Shelly with some slower twisteds by running in "8" shape, speeding up on the corners.(At least it's the method i use)
And you can outrun pretty much everyone (except pebble) on the panic mode, even Glisten and Toodles or Shelly, but with those you should sprint constantly.
Also you can kite Vee by slightly sprinting whenever she gives you slowness(as soon as she's closer than you want - sprint for a few seconds, to get some distance, works best while running in a straight line), but with Toodles or Shelly on the floor it turns into the hell on earth :')

I hate it when that happens whenever I’m Goob bro!
Once, I had a goob in my run and I was a Tisha with only 1 speed boost, the pink bow. The other was the wrench, our goob was at 1 heart and was hiding near the elevator saying things like 'im at 1 heart! I can't go out.' The thing is, I had lost my 1st life previously due to this goob. The goob decided to lead a twisted brightney towards me at floor 5 while I was doing a machine before saying that he needed to go to the restroom. The funny thing is, we had another tisha in the lobby that said she could backup when needed. So I had lost my 1st life then. Now, on floor 10 this gooby was staying like elevator like I'ld already said. But me, with only 1 speed trinket was currently distracting a fin and a toodles. So I said 'Goob, can you take these im not a distracter.' But he replied with that he is at one. I eventually convinced him to come out, and once he started to distract I walked away to do a machine. But guess what, the goob pulled me in and BOTH the twisteds got me and I died. Then he said it was an accident, good job goob. I have trust issues now.
