- Lebensaugers are known for coercing their victims through fear. The Fagin character described in Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist is largely based on their Wesen's preternatural urge for manipulation. In this scene Bud is abducted by a mysterious man, who is clearly frustrated by Nick not being a "real" Grimm.
From Grimm Season 2 Episode 10 "The Hour of Death": When a brutal vigilante homicide is made public, it sends Portland's Wesen community into a frenzy. As Nick (David Giuntoli) investigates further, he discovers a pattern similar to that of a particularly brutal line of past Grimms. Is there another Grimm in town, or is Nick dealing with a sadistic copycat? Meanwhile, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) takes it upon himself to offer Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) comfort in handling her ongoing dilemma with Nick. Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell and Reggie Lee.

This becomes even worse when you remember when a Wessen looks a Grimm in the eyes while Woged, they just see two black pits that perfectly reflect their true forms. Have to wonder, did he turn away to try and hide what he was from Nick, or from himself?
Both
On top of that he obviously grew up with stories of Grimms to know what he did. So what did this poor kid’s family do to him that resulted in this?
Not all that suffer from mintel illness ase because they was miss treated some just do not like what they are or who they are so the try to make themselves into something they want to be something that they think is better then they are this boy was one of those people all his family may have done was tell him story's of the evil human that kills their kind a and said something like because he things our kind is evil and it got twisted in his head
Bud is too precious for this world; I was so glad that he got away from this in one piece
He is too damb precious and happy for this world 😥😥😥😥😥
@Danae Harris of course he is so precise for this world
Do they taste partially like beaver as a wesen? Or just human?
I wouldn’t know, I’ve never tried one
Poor Bud, forever the damsel in destress of the series.
I think this episode taught me a realistic lesson.
Some individuals hated who they are. They either struggle with it then learn to accept the fact on who they truly are (like Trubel) or chose to “look up” to ones who they think are superior and try to be one of them (like this dude here).
I mean.. if you were him, would you really want to accept what you were?
@goblo023 that doesn't affect anything I said
@@spongmongler6760ever see that sponge Bob episode where sponge Bob thinks he’s ugly he should scream the top of his lungs in ugly and I’m proud
Bud can't even be impolite to someone trying to kill him. He's the most harmless wesen.
As Aunt Marie said to Nick "Only kill the bad ones". Bud is not a bad wesen.
Yep it’s why there where more good ones left when the family was done.
Bud is a funny character. I liked him very much, he was a wholesome individual who stepped up when he was needed.

Yes , he is a lovely boy and he is a very confident man
"If you think I'm gonna stop screaming while you are doing that YOU'RE CRAZY! Not that I mean to criticize!"

I swear that I stayed on the edge of my chair for the whole time, thinking "Oh pleasepleaseplease not Bud not Bud NOT BUD!!!!!!!!"

he never touched a fly!
I'm so happy Bud was okay but at the same time I feel so, so bad for Ryan; imagine hating yourself that much that you want to kill anyone who reminds you of your true self. It's heartbreaking.
Gay ppl trying to play straight
On the other hand, that was one TRULY disgusting looking kind of wesen. Who'd want to be THAT kind of wesen??......😆🤣😂
Bud was one of my fav characters! They got the best actor for him! I loved every minute of seeing bud on the screen!
Nick was a good man, specifically because he was never told about vessen he was able to do the right thing! He became a cop because he wanted to help people.
Nick's dad would have been proud of him! I know his aunt was too! They raised him right and even though he is a Grimm he was able to do the right thing which actually helped open up avenues of friendship in circles he would have never been part of had he acted out on his Grimm status. Doing the right thing is more important than following tradition!
Bud and Monroe were handsdown my favourite characters. I'd die for them honestly
Bud is the BEST!
Bud is great he's someone I would definitely want to hang out with
Bud is the best!
He’s the neighbour every neighbourhood needs
In the Oxford Dictionary, under the term "All Round Nice Guy" is a 2x3 glossy photo of Bud.
He is what we all should aspire to, except for maybe the belt location when he's under Nick's fridge fighting with a stuck nut.
I used to live only 5 blocks away from where they filmed this scene. 1:10 I’m glad Nick found out very quickly that not all Wesan are bad, like Bud, Monroe and Rosalee.
This was actually kinda sad to me.
It really was. Tortured soul that couldn't accept what it was
It makes you wonder. Wessen are taught to fear Grimm. What happened to this guy that made him idolize what is essentially the Reaper himself?
@@CptPhilippnes He probably hated what he was more than he feared Grimms.
@@CptPhilippnes extreme self loathing. Perhaps if he had been an animal Wesen instead of a monstrous one he might not have hated what he was so much.
@@PaisleyGreene63 on the plus side, his human face is gorgeous
Ryan was out of his mind on killing Bud. Nick knew what his ancestors did was WRONG. Bud is a very kind & loveable person. Ryan may have saved Donna, but this is going too far

The actor playing the intern Ryan went on to be the intern Wendell brey in bones.
No wonder why I felt his face was so familiar🤣
Ughh soo cute
Interesting how the Endezeichen Grimm
, the Reapers and the Zerstörer
look very much alike. I wonder if the Zerstörer
was the reason why the Endezeichen Grimms existed in the first place.
It most likely was one or more of the 7 Grimm crusaders that started the Endezeichen Grimms to go against the Zerstörer if it ever showed up
Endezeichen is a slight bit wrong in spelling, but it basically means „a sign for the end“
So the basic principle of this branch of Grimm concentrating on stopping the end (Zerstörer) is very logical.
Great hypothesis! Where's David Greenwalt's personal email when we need it lol!
From the first time he showed you could tell something was off about this kid, he was such a fan boy of Nick and Hank. Was expecting to see him pop up again as member of the Black Claw.
Why would he join Black claw? He hated Wesen. He thinks they should all die. That’s the opposite of Black claw.
Bud is my all time favourite character in this. Glad he was okay.
This episode was a little bit sad because a tortured soul couldn't accept for what it really was
would you want to be a leech creature or would you rather be a purger of evil?
@@toomanyaccounts Less purger of evil in this case and more suicidal psychotic spree killer though
aftermath: the 'grimm' was a wesen himself
Sad they never did a grimm vs grimm story
Grimms are rare enough that the only ones we've seen so far are related to Nick (a total of 4 I believe though I'm not 100% sure, but I think Trubel is a distant cousin/relative of Nick) so the most grimm vs grimm action we've ever seen was that brief scuffle with Monroe and Nick's mother during their reunion due to his mother not being aware of his relationship with him and immediately going on the offensive. It would've been cool to have a fight like that but it would be somewhat redundant since grimms are, more or less, still pretty much mostly humans so it theoretically wouldn't look much different than a regular fight.
@@elianrodriguez7318 don't forget nick's super hearing ability he got from that 1 wesen,in theory grimms might get powers like that form other wesen incidents...who knows.

A Lebensauger
Bud’s one of the best characters on the show.👍🏻
Grimm had one of the best squads ever: Nick, Hank, Monroe, Rosalee, Wu, Trubel and later they added Adalind I mean, this squad?! They could them well just destroy the royals and take over the world had they ever wanted to...
And "Eve".
Don't forget Bud, despite being a coward at heart dude showed some serious courage.
"All Wesen must die." Self loathing is such a horrible thing.
There should be a whole new series on the children of the characters! Just saying
IT ZANDER oh that would be cool
I know right I would love something like that and I really want to see the triplets and see what kind of wesen they are because they are half blubud and half of what the Mom is
talk about a twist, and sad how this guy hates his own kind and admires the very thing they fear.
when they accept what they are you get the leeches that Trubel encountered.

You can notice by the way he talks he is not a Grimm.... "he is not a real grimm I am" I mean clearly trying to prove something to others and to himself.
All Ryan proved was that he'll NEVER learn Nick's ways as a Grimm
When I watch this episode 3 years ago I never understood why this guy was calling himself a Grimm when he was clearly a wessen??? Was he atleast half grimm?like renard is half zalburbeast?or is he not a grimm at all?maybe his dad\mom was a grimm and the other parent was what he is?so he thinks hes entitled to calling himself a grimm?

Wow. Not many people are that good at running fast while wrapped in a cloak.
I gotta watch this show.
Why the beaver,he got three kids he ain’t do nothing to nobody leave him alone at least he’s a pleasant wesen
Definitely. This is the kind of stuff that made innocent Wesen fear Grimms. Nick's relatives who Grimms didn't think the same as him. Ryan went way too far trying to kill Bud.
Poor Bud!
Fake Grimm: all wesen must die Him: Turns into lesbensauger Me: he’s nothing but a wannabe Grimm
lesbensauger xD
xD Ryan voges infront of nick and gets punched that pissed me off when Ryan was being a wanna be Grimm
He is just a fanboy
Bud would make a perfect close friend! I'd love to have a few beers and a pizza with him while watching the game! I'd not be as diplomatic as Nick was if anyone ever tried to hurt Bud! I guess this is why he's a cop and I'm not lol. I still think I'd make a better Grimm than Nick though lol (only kidding)! I do think however that Nick made more errors of judgement than he may have done otherwise just because he was a cop. I reckon a Grimm would actually be better served in working as a Criminal Defence Lawyer than as a cop!
Nick is a good Grimm and be alliances with good wesens
they should have brought this lebensauger back as part of the resistance with eve
When exposed a parasite to society is the most saddest and tragic thing ever

not to be dramatic, but id die for bud
It would be awesome if they explore a whole badass grimm underground community... sort of like john wick world but for grimms..
It seems grimms are rare enough that forming something akin to a community is likely unachievable (and likely very risky, for themselves and their loved ones).

Hated wesen and his own kin.
He wanted to be like Nick.
He wanted to be a grimm.
Kill like a grimm.
But in the end he was afraid of what he is. He wanted to correct his idols mistake and be the grimm that the world wanted.

A delusional kind
Venus his kind are prone to substance abuse and identity crisis as a result of their self loathing over their nature. In this kids case he wants to be the furthest thing from what he is and he figured that would be a Grimm. In his mind he’s trying to live up to what that means

Christina Cody on top of his species he was also delusional. That particular type of Wesen tend to be self loathing due to their appearance and either turn to substance abuse like alcoholism or try very hard to forge new identities that are anything but themselves. Ryan is literally Red Hood to Nick's Batman. Not sure if I like him. Don't get me wrong, I like the concept of an antihero who does what the hero can't and won't; when it's done right. Don't think it was here. He doesn't have any really good defense of his actions and he comes off more like a raging lunatic or a KKK member (if there's any good difference between those two).
Because that's not what it was meant to be. Ffs
@@kuywasaamazikeen8048 I'm an idiot then

If I was a insect wesen I wouldn't ever wanna woge in my life. Would literally creep myself out.
