Bought the Bolt, nearly died when the brake wire went loose, went back to Costco to find out that the Bolt was sold out, Got a refund and bought the Haze. So far loving the Haze.
This is what I had to do for my son. The brake came off the handle bar of the Bolt and the bike stopped charging before it was a year old. Took it back to Costco two years after I bought it and he got the pro Christmas 2022. We’ll see how long this one last.
I found the same thing in N FL. Strangely, they messed up their inventory some kind of way and brought the price up before they sold out but now that they’ve sold out, their inventory says they have 4 Bolt Pro’s when they only have the 4 Haze’s.
Thank you for your review. Has been very useful. Do you have any idea how long the battery life is? I am thinking of buying a bike as a work tool near my neighborhood.
We bought 2 Bolt Pro’s a couple years ago, rode them for a few weeks and returned them. They felt like a toy. But I like the Haze design, it looks more sturdy but the price is too much.
hey guys can yall help me out? ive been trying to decide what type of jetson bike i should get. Aside from the price and wheel size, what is the main difference between the jetson axle and jetson bolt pro? thanks
axle is fat tire but if you want nicer folding bike check this one bit.ly/46yrYcT removable battery and comes with many nice future 16 inches tires much more stable and only $375 after discount code: erides and free helmet sent to you ,too
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
@@erides it's interesting since the Costco Canada website lists 25km for both Jetson Bolt Pro and Haze. Bolt 25km is accurate in my experience. I have a feeling the Haze won't be much more even if it is 48v since the battery is only 7.5ah.
@soupnazi81 usa costco has haze at max 15 miles on throttle only and 20 miles on pedal assist. The battery on haze is 144wh more vs Jetson Bolt pro that's almost 50% more
@@erides it would be good if you can do a full range test at pas 3, pedal assist, and no throttle. You can include your weight, tire pressure, temp, and terrain. Not many people post about the Jetson Haze on youtube.
This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
@@erides thank you so much for this info! I have been searching for an e-bike that allows me to change gears with the power off. I prefer to ride as a manual bike with gears and turn the power on when needed. I currently have the Jetson Pro which is tough to ride without pedal assist or the throttle.
check in link in description for onebot s9 ruclips.net/video/k7Kg-j6ErZc/видео.html the link will have no pictures and no info but you can leave note in order what color green or blue and they will ship directly to you from USA Wearhouse. its only $700 and you will have option to turn off the pedal assist and use it as regular bike much easer to pedal as you get 6 gears.
its not kids bike even the wheels smaller then my kid's bike still adult can ride pretty good on them . I rode off road for 6 miles ruclips.net/video/glXUmXCSa4s/видео.html but I would not recommend it. Still full bike much safer to ride then scooters with 9 - 10 inches wheels
not true...i'm a fat ass at 250 pounds and the bolt would move me no problem every day...unfortunately the throttle snapped so I had to uprade to the Haze...so far so good...but i kinda miss the bolt
Well, Last year I did this bike video from Costco and last price on Costco site was $700 and it was sold out pretty often ruclips.net/video/rLeFdt-4EGA/видео.html
I absolutely understand although I always thought the Bolt Pro pricing was dirty cheap and might not last. I went through some trouble trying to cost-justify. I basically itemized each Haze-specific feature and was able to get there. Larger, mild theft deterrent, limited suspension, add’l fold (big priority for me), locked battery (!), & removable battery (!). I’m down about the speed being below 20 mph. That’s a bummer. But just this weekend, one of our BP batteries crapped out on us before the other. I think it could use a replacement. I’m not sure if we are past the warranty period or not but an easily replaceable battery removes one of my main concerns, adds security, and means I can buy more batteries for MUCH longer range. Allllll that said, I’m hoping for a sale so I can buy 2 without feeling so much pain.
That anti theft is a joke and might get more problems. Anyone can lift the bike and walk away with that anti theft and remove it later easily. Also, make sure to have key with you at all time or
This bike is F up! I got 2 of them from Costco with the same problem. I was able to charge them one time and no more! The charger indicator shows green but battery indicator on the bike lit one sec and turns off. Be careful with Chinese parts and products. Some products just carry the brand of US👎👎
I had the same problem twice as well and returned twice and realized that it was me that was causing the problem. I had the bolt pro with one power switch. The haze has two. If the second one is not turned on it will do exactly what you described. Did you have both power buttons switched to on. The second power button is located under the latch that you use to fold the bike in half.

cool, just saw the haze at the nearby costco, 599, however the bolt was no longer an option!
My store doesn't have any of them and thats why I post online price.
Thank you so much for such a thorough review- really helped me decide!
I am glad it helped
I set my head light to the frame not the forks ,with handle bar going all over the place while riding the light shines everywhere but the front
