I have 4 of these Bolt Pro's for family and friends to use when they come for visits...they ended up being quite a hit with everyone. They love driving them down to trails around our area. About a five mile round trip. Seems like the first thing everyone wants to do is jump on these little bikes and go puttering around.

Wow, and I thought I had a lot of accessories for my Jetson 😂. I like your enthusiasm, these bikes are quite entertaining. I’ve done many of the modifications that you have done, such as the extra battery and switch-That’s a must. I’ve tried to do things in such a way that I can easily break it down and still fit into my car trunk/boot for little excursions that I might explore.

The extended battery range totally transforms the riding experience...no more range anxiety and you can use throttle more if tired. Bringing the Jetson in the trunk when you have to bring your car into service is a gamechanger. You can bike elsewhere instead of waiting around! Keep riding and keep safe my fellow Jetson friend!

I have one too, and have thought of adding some thinks. However it is such a perfect, tiny, light weight bicycle, that I can easily put in my car back seat and ride long distances. Anything I add would add more size, and make it harder to store and transport... I have become a minimalist with this great bike. The only thing I will add is an additional battery in parallel to ride long distances.
Yeah it's great to bring in trunk especially when bringing car in for service. You can explore instead of waiting at the mechanic. It is definitely not as easy fitting in the trunk with all the extra gadgets. Mostly the rear rack holding the battery adds lenght. I'd like to have a separate bare bones Jetson with larger battery in main compartment.
Good lookin bike. Pee Wee Herman ain't got nothin on you. I bought one last week from Costco and so far I'm loving it. It's not very fast but a cruiser e-bike for easy trails. Keep up the awesome content.

The very first modification I made was full sized handle bars. The next one I did was a new crank; 45 teeth 170 mm arms. Next up is flat pedals, save you some stress and heart trauma; install those when you replace the crank. Next up is a 400 mm seatpost. Once these functional modifications are done, THEN it is time for doohickies and frippery.

My man spent more on the accessories than the bike itself. Most of the stuff is great though. I personally wouldn't bother with the 4K camera, lights on the bottom. I would also go pretty easy on the amount of lights on the front and back. Overall, it looks very nice. Surprising very clean despite how cluttered it is. 👍

Thanks man! Yeah don't use as as many lights due to so many things to charge. Lol. Just the front ones, and rear ones. Then my horn. Charge lasts about 1 month so so charge it up every few rides.

My wife just got an Lectric XP (a fast beast) and after driving both the Jetson is just more fun. Ride on safely my friend!
Returned mine at costco and picked up another one after 2 weeks of trying to push my riding limits with it. It got ruined in the process and I now know it's limitations of this bike. All I did was add my childhood license plate with zip ties to the saddle strings lols. I still use my nite rider lights, with my 2-1 phone+portable charger mount from my main bike with this one. At least with this bike being heavy I can ride this during the colder and windy months to come, since I can't ride my road bike in those conditions without feeling the slightest gust of wind shifting my wheels.
My guy is apocalypse-proof!

I've had my Phantomgogo for about 2 weeks and have ordered an additional higher amp battery, the "parallel connector" and some aluminum folding handlebars that are not only lighter but also wider(more accessories".
Bigger rotors (stainless steel 160mm), a shock absorbing seatpost, a wider more comfortable saddle, a speedometer and better lights are on my on my wishlist.
I'm seriously considering installing a motor hub for the front too. 900 total watts and 25 amp hours of battery.
I can hardly wait !!!!
I bought the Phantom because of wanting to ride sitting down and the low price.
I love it "as is", but it's gonna be even better when I'm done.

Really like your setup for your Bolt Pro. I use the same phone holder for mine and haven't gone back to any other brand. Also saddlebag and a pannier bag for the back rack

I like your enthusiasm but I hope you are careful with all those lights if you are in the road. Seems like you could inadvertently blind drivers, especially with your helmet lights (since they move with your head you might shine them in someone’s eyes on accident), and your one headlight seems like it would be eye level for someone in a car. Great video. I picked up some of the Hafny mirrors you mentioned for my bolt. Do you know if I need to add the expanders or not? Not sure of the dimensions inside the handle bar itself. Also, did you just shave out the inside of the grip to make space? Thank you.
Thank for the kind words! I had to use all the parts what came with the hafny kit including the expanders to keep the mirrors secure and tight. Inside the grip I didn't have to shave anything off but had to use a box cutter to cut a hole on the end of the grips so I could insert the mirrors. Rubber is pretty soft and go slow so you don't cut yourself. Haha. Hope this helps.

You must live in a pretty relaxed state. Because most states do not allow red and blue flashing lights no matter what facing to the front of the rear. Around here you would get a huge ticket and The cops would rip the Flashing Red blue lights off the bike.

Thanks for the video! I just bought my jetson in Vancouver too. Is it possible to run both batteries in parallel without the need for the switch??
You're welcome! It is possible but you have to make sure both batteries are charged to same voltage before you connect them together since they will equalize instantly. Then it will act as one battery and I'm not sure which battery you plugin to charge. I'm not crazy on parrallel setup myself. A switch isn't preferred, you can do the cable swap method where you extend cables outside the casing and when want to switch, just plug and unplug batteries. Basically the cable swap is just a prerequisite for the switch method which takes it one step further.

PS. I'll probably see you around the Vancouver bike lanes. It's great to ride them for the first time. Highly recommend the False Creek Seawall to Granville Island, Stanley Park seawall, Arbutus Greenway, Central Valley Greenway, and BC Parkway. I'm near Central Park and the stock battery can take me to Granville Island and back. (24km trip pedal assist)

You're very welcome! I just bring my bike into the store! I usually am just picking up bubble tea so they don't say anything since I'm quick and bike is small. In Vancouver any bike will get stolen in minutes so it never leaves my side. You could use a strong New York Kryptonite Ulock through the handle.

Thank you! I just used some rubber mat for stairs at Homedepot. Cut it and affixed with zip ties and a glue gun.

Hi, When it comes to the small Axin B-Soul side bags that you keep your wallet and keys in, how do you mount it to where it doesn't move around and also how did you get it in through the frame of the ebike
I had to fold it in half and really squeeze it where the handle hole is on the frame of the Jetson body. It's very very snug trying to pull it through. Then you can slide it to the front the the frame and use the velcro included in the bag. It's so tight, it's not going anywhere.
@@soupnazi81 oh okay! And should I buy a strip of Velcro and Velcro it to the frame as added security. I’m using my tax refund to buy a lot of the stuff I see in this video and totally pimp out my ride. You my friend are an inspiration
@@hunterparrett The bag itself has two strips of velcro sewed to the bag so no need to purchase velcro. When really squish the bag by folding it in half in small hole handle, then slide it to front of frame, you'll see that the bag isn't going anywhere. It can't come out of where it is now since the two bags are too fat to have it fall out. You'll see!

Can you please tell me what you use to lock your bike up? I would like to ride my Jetson to school but need to lock it up. I live in a small town with very little crime but I need to lock it up for sure.
I never leave my bike alone since we have very high bike thefts in Vancouver. The Kryptonite brand of chains and U locks are highly rated. Just a bit heavy.
No lock is safe thieves come with hand powered circular saws will cut through anything. Have to have visual or GPS or alarm.
Where did you get the mud flaps? I can't find any like you have.
I took some vinyl stair tread from Home Depot and then cut them into strips and used glue gun as well as zip ties to extend the stock Jetson fenders .

Try finding a piece of rubber and make them yourself. Hell cut up a new mudflap bought from a store.

@@soupnazi81 Lol, that is cool. I have a Lectric XP also but ride this Jetson way more as I can take it on rough hiking trails, over boulders, fallen tree bridges, etc. (of course walking & carrying it over). Can ride it through crowded outdoor malls, sidewalks, etc. w/o much objections.
@@SandaBoxing that's awesome! Yeah I use the Jetson much more since it's so easy to take out and bring into shops. I also have an Lectric and barely use it. Well, it's for my wife but she hasn't used since last summer and I have no desire to borrow it.

I use a 12.8ah Aerdu from Aliexpress but the newer batches are using poor quality cells and my friend who bought two 14ah battery's really only got a 9ah in terms of real world range. It's a sham and I wouldn't recommend them anymore.
Shiva from RUclips recommends these and I have one of my other jetson. Ships from USA and if in Canada have to ship to USA postbox and bring back across the border.

@@soupnazi81 glad ur still around. lol. yeah, i was trying to decide if i wanted to go with the 10ah or if a higher one with the same voltage work without changing the controller.
@@elleseven71 haha. Yeah I dunno how some are putting 48v batteries with the stock 36v controller since logic says it would burn it out. I'm a scaredy cat so I used a 36v battery. 10ah is good if you want to put battery inside the stock case. I have mine on a rack so sky is the limit. The 14ah gives good range and fits in a 3L Wildman bag on the rack.

I've been doing research on different ebikes for a couple of months, i don't like to waste money, so i'm one of those ppl who will read every amazon comment on a device i want. 🤣
@@elleseven71 lol. I hear ya. Do tons of research before making a decision. When it comes to ebikes, you can't go wrong with the Jetson for the price. It still amazes me how durable and fun it is if you accept its limitations. That's super exciting for you. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yup! I just find they move around alot even when inserting rubber inner tube to add grip.
I think you might have spent more trying to save on shipping than Amazon prime cost. If you buy a lot online give it a shot.
Don't forget a proper lock - standard recommendation being a high-quality kryptonite (typically costing 20-25% of the bike itself).
Lock is good. I don't leave my bike out of my sight since Vancouver has many bike thefts. I just bring bike into the shop. Lol!
