Don't get bent out of shape trying to figure out HF and what you need to do prior to shooting the stage. Focus on going as fast as you can while getting more then 90%-95% of the points available. If you are shooting more then 95% of the points you are probably not shooting fast enough or was a stage that require some sort of hard aiming. If you are shooting 80-90% of the points in the stage without penalties then your ass needs to be sprinting the whole time to justify the point loss on the stage.
