It's also interesting how people can commit atrocious crimes like murder, grand theft, scam, and so on, but as long as they convert to x religion, they can go to heaven. Meanwhile, the people who aren't in x religion, but live really moral lives end up in hell because they don't practice that faith...

Quick question: Do you think that the reason we as a culture of people seem to be stagnant in the racial oppression issue, is due to our expectations? And not having attainable goals as a culture of people? In response to David Banner's "leader comments", I believe people feel different about a leader they feel inspires them versus one they believe provides a way for them. Just saying, telling a person that there are fish in the sea, you just have to go out and start fishing is not the same as teaching them how to fish.

I've always loved Banner. You could hear it even in his early albums, he had lyricism and he still had the smarts too. He's absolutely right about the "black violence vs white violence" issue too. I grew up in your typical middle class white suburban neighborhood (I'm white btw). We never had any problems at my school with violence other than your random fight here and there. But those schools on the other side of town now they are BAD. That's what we were taught. I graduated 11 years ago and the violence is almost every day now. The point I'm making is NOW the local news is bringing attention to it because it's in suburban areas. NOW things are getting done because it's "out of control". Look, I'm not trying to be a sympathizer. I just see it for what it is and always has been. Sorry for the rant. lol

Watching this in quarantine like, "When will hell on Earth end? I want to get out of the damn house and live a different life" So I just walked outside. I get what you're saying. But there are historians who acknowledged Jesus's existence and don't believe in him. But the Bible also talks about prayer that is followed by action. But maybe we as people have emphasized more on prayer than prayer and action. I do think that we shouldn't rely on a savior to do everything for us.There's a division within the church and there's a racial division of the church. "My people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge"
