If anything, Shahrukh Khan (keeping his devdas character in mind) would have been the better male lead as Bajirao.

Excellent curation. 1. Ranveer and priyanka are both professional actors. They couldn't care if they had to perform as siblings or as couples (bajirao) (gunday). It's why they clicked everywhere. 2. Surya rocks Ghajini. Ajith would have performed too but Surya had not really reached big stardom at that time hence he gave importance to his performance. Ajith by then was a great star and it couldn't have been made as a movie without appeasing his fans a bit. Ghajini was basically a movie that needed performers and not stars.
Buts its true dude salman khan tried his level best but the director didn't give a shit about salman khans opinions.... His nepo product would have ruined one of the greatest Stories in the history of India and it would have flopped real hard otherwise... Thank God for the wise decision by the director for providing us with one the best flims of 2021 ,this movie will go down as one of the cult classics in the history of indian cinema.
I can never imagine anyone from the industry playing Shershah. It was sidharth Malhotra's charming personality that made Vikram Batra alive in our hearts. And I think shershah has been ruling hearts because of perfections in it- ❣❣❣

I am low key proud of Siddharth's casting in SHERSHAAH. Having grown up idolising Capt Batra alongside Capt Manoj Kumar Pandey (1/11 GR), I was eagerly waiting ever since the initial announcement of the film. And now that so many people are acknowledging Capt Batra and other personnel's sacrifices, I feel proud :)

The fact that Farhan considered Hrithik and AB as choices to play the character that respectively went to Amir and Akshay goes on to portray that he actually felt AB and Hrithik were cool enough to do justice to the characters. Another thing to consider is Farhan did not think of replacing Akshay or Saif for the film. Speaks volumes of his fine, sound and futuristic judgment.

Baazigar is an interesting story. When it was presented to Salman Khan, Salim Khan advised the directors to add the mother angle which wasn't initially there in the script. They refused and moved on but later end up adding the angle anyway, which to be honest really gave depth to not only character but also the movie
I dont know about this but what I know is Aamir was never offered Baazigar, he shot a few scenes for Darr but instead got sacked due to creative differences

Later when the climax scene was discussed(the scene where SRK stabbed Sunny deol), Aamir wanted to change that because sunny del was stabbed multiple times but was still able to trace SRK and Juhi and went on to kill SRK in the end. Aamir stood his ground and hence was dropped by yash chopra because according to him he was way too much involved with the director. Back in 1990s, mahesh bhatt also said same about Aamir and hence they never worked together after Hum hai rahi pyaar ke. With due respect to DARR, which I love watching even today, that climax scene should have been different because in real life even if Arnold Schwarzenegger of 1980s would have been stabbed multiple times, he wouldn't have got up easily.

The fact that Farhan considered Hrithik and AB as choices to play the character that respectively went to Amir and Akshay goes on to portray that he actually felt AB and Hrithik were cool enough to do justice to the characters. Another thing to consider is Farhan did not think of replacing Akshay or Saif for the film. Speaks volumes of his fine, sound and futuristic judgment.
Ohh even Kareena was supposed to be the first choice for Leela in Ram-Leela that eventually landed as the beginning of Ranveer-Deepika's relationship

Baazigar is an interesting story. When it was presented to Salman Khan, Salim Khan advised the directors to add the mother angle which wasn't initially there in the script. They refused and moved on but later end up adding the angle anyway, which to be honest really gave depth to not only character but also the movie
I dont know about this but what I know is Aamir was never offered Baazigar, he shot a few scenes for Darr but instead got sacked due to creative differences

@@aayush__9890 nope, originally late Divya bharti was the lead actress in that movie but she was replaced because Aamir found her very unprofessional. It was Aamir who suggested Juhi for that movie. Later when the climax scene was discussed(the scene where SRK stabbed Sunny deol), Aamir wanted to change that because sunny del was stabbed multiple times but was still able to trace SRK and Juhi and went on to kill SRK in the end.
Aamir stood his ground and hence was dropped by yash chopra because according to him he was way too much involved with the director. Back in 1990s, mahesh bhatt also said same about Aamir and hence they never worked together after Hum hai rahi pyaar ke.
With due respect to DARR, which I love watching even today, that climax scene should have been different because in real life even if Arnold Schwarzenegger of 1980s would have been stabbed multiple times, he wouldn't have got up easily.

Not just because it's a film based on Captain Vikram Batra sir, but also because of his fabulous portrayal of Captain Batra sir. He given justice to that role.
