I'd do some of their songs heavy, some of their songs like their current style so the fans get both. You can make Instrumentally heavy music, but the lyrics don't have to be about partying, drugs, and sex. But maybe growth and overcoming stuff and doing better. We're all getting older now and don't do all of the dumb stuff we did as teens and into our early 20s. But yeah, I get the association but you just have to rewire your brain. You can still make Instrumentally heavy music and it have a good message. Like I said, I think it'd be cool if they did a metalcore type of approach to music. But still do their current style. I'm just saying do both. Like half their songs light, half of em heavy. Dude can obvs scream still and the band can get down so I'd say go for it, drop a metalcore album 😂 but like the newer style metalcore lol not the shit from 08. Shts cool and nostalgic but the sound of the genre has progressed. I hope to hear some heavy songs from them.
