Rae your curls look great. We have some of the same mousses. My fav have been the Lottabody Wrap Me Foaming Mousse and the Mielle Pomegranate & Honey Curl uDefining Mousse with hold. Both of them gives you a nice shine, definition and a soft hold. Thank you for sharing.
Nice mousse picks! I do not use mousse. I like my style to last 7+ days and the mousses just do not give my tighter curls enough long-lasting hold. I pretty much have to use gels. I may try your Aunt Jackie's mousse and gel combo because your hair looked awesome with that combo! Thanks for sharing your favorites!
Yeah, if you top the mousse with a gel it lasts longer. Some people use Eco to top the mousses and you know Eco has hold. Just a suggestion. Thanks for tuning in.
i still need to try that aunt jackies mousse! my favs are mane choice peach black tea mousse , pattern, rizos curls mousse, and any curlmix vip mousses! I need to revisit my camielle rose spiked tsubaki mousse! i ordered her new mint condition foam on bf!

Thank you! I usually try the mousse first without a leave-in for a wash and go. If I'm doing a twist out, I will usually use a leave-in. Don't ask me why, I just do what I feel at the time.🤷🏾♀️ If you go back and look at my other videos, which I linked in the "i cards" of the video, you'll see which leave-ins I used with which gels. It dries super fast and i just don't have time anymore to fool with this hair, lol. I use either Aussie or Garnier.

Sorry that it dried your hair out; I didn't have that issue. I guess the leave-in would be determined by what style you're doing and what kind of hold you want. If I was going to do a wash and go, I would use a lightweight leave-in so it doesn't effect the hold of the mousse too much. If I were doing a twist out, a thicker leave-in might work.

On Amazon Prime Day, I got a great deal on Design Essentials, but I’d never tried it, so I only bought one. 😣Another I’ve seen with great reviews is Lottabody - the newer honey formula. Wondering if you’ve ever tried it. Not only was I disappointed in Mielle, but the bottles leaked. Thank you for all the suggestions.
Yes, products can be expensive so if you can find them on sale, that's the way to go. I have not tried the Lottabody honey. I do have the lotta body regular mousse in my stash that I need to break open. Hopefully, I'll get to it soon. I hope the design essentials works for you, that is one that I really like. I've never tried the Crazy Sexy Curl, but people say they love that. I have it in my stash but haven't tried it yet, now you have me worried. I like the Aunt Jackie's, it defines and it's not drying to me and it works well with the gel, which is what is in my hair in this video. Why don't you like it?

I need a good one but if the pattern scent is too strong I may need to stay away from it but if I can sniff it before I purchase I would love to try out Pattern Beauty and I want to try the Aunt Jackie’s Frizz Patrol and the Glossy Jelly since I have tried the don’t shrink gel and I liked it.
I love the Doux's mousse def. The hold is not enough for my 4b/4c but I love it as a refresher on 5th/6th day hair. You can use for many things, laying your hair etc, It really is something special imo. I just hate the price..I didn't like the crazy sexy curl it was so sticky, It made for an unpleasant experience. I liked the Camille Rose, definitely the most moisturizing one I tried but still I feel like it's missing smtg. I also tried the Design essentials (my first mousse ! )..Really liked the hold but also not hydrating enough for a week I felt...I would repurchase all of them except the Crazy Sexy curl
None of those mousses work for me; they’re super drying on my hair. The only mousses that work for me are CR honey spiked mousse and my absolute favorite/go to is Trepadora Bamboo Ginseng Curling mousse.

The CR Honey Hydrate works well for me especially underneath the CR Honey Spiked Mousse. A little goes a long way.
