Mighty Ludwig van Beethoven. Master of Composition. Strength, Sensitivity, Musicality, Temperament, Vigor, Loveliness, Tenderness. Oh, what a composer!!!
this sublime music helps me greet the day....the dervish chorus and the turkish march is beethoven at his witty & playful best....enjoy this magicam visit to athens, folks!
That's a good question. I'm not a musicologist or historian and don't claim expertise in any way, but perhaps this is considered more as "incidental music" from a play rather than an opera proper in itself. I agree with you though, the distinction, if in fact there is one, is a very fine one indeed. I've never actually heard Fidelio, but this music is quite good, great really, definitely worthy of Beethoven's name. It captures a sound and feeling I've never heard before in Beethoven, quite ominous and even a bit scary, like some kind of ritualistic ceremony being performed; thankfully for me it ends with the Turkish march, the music which I actually came here to hear. But hearing it all has been an unexpected and interesting, if not pleasant, surprise.
Culto, pero soso, no entiendes el chiste, la cultura, es una gran copa de donde se derrama la amargura de la soledad al no comprender la simpleza de la vida - amargado -

Geçte olsa Beethoven a teşekkür ediyorum. Sağolsun adam bizi de düşünmüş, pek birşey anlamasakta...
18. yüzyıl Osmanlı Devleti ordu marşlarına benzemekte.

i don't understand why it is said that Beethoven wrote one opera, fidelio .Isn't this an opera?

well if you like this i believe you should also listen to the chorus of prisoners, which is a stunning section from fidelio .
nah this ain't an opera i am pretty sure, opera is leaning more towards a play, one with an actual visual story that we can follow
unless this IS a play then this is an opera
ohhh, this song it is happening so much right now.
ehh poor greece...
Beethoven reis heykelini yapsak taşşana çimento yetmez adamsın

The opus is incredible great, Chespirito only took the worst part of the chorus, the rest is too much better!!!
