I got the crushers and it really allowed me to understand how bass can be overpowering, I've used beats but these things literally vibrate. So if you want to hear your bass through your skull go for these. It's truly, SKULLcandy.
@@gageshippy2256 yeah but for some reason the og crusher wireless had a weird threshold for when it activates. the crusher evo is much smoother and has no threshold for activation but will not be prominent till around 60% volume when the bass tab is all the way up. if your looking for better adjustment of the bass definitely go for the evo.
Just bought the Crusher Wireless... first impression is the bass slider is nice but sliding it down completely is the best sound. Comfortable and connected to bluetooth easily. Experienced a little bluetooth interference but then the battery seemed to die as I just unboxed them. Def glad I went w the crushers cuz the larger fit around the ear and looks are better. W the 40hr battery life I'm excited. Was in best buy listening to the BoseQC35 and Sony1000x and the Crushers seem on par with those in sound....never really needed any noise suppression so saving money I think I'm gonna be happy with these as long as the Bluetooth doesn't get interference very often. For buyers who are considering buying a BT model headphone in the $150 range, have one other model to consider. The Audio Technica M50XBT, which are based from their notoriously popular M50X wired version, which some consider studio quality monitors. They aren’t a bass heavy model, but rich & balanced, and provide a more accurate soundstage. Their battery life is also about 40hrs.

For 150 I got the sennheiser HD 598CS then I used an equalizer to flatten out the sound signature. It's super durable and it feels like a studio grade headset
I had a Satechi model which I paired with my iPad for listening to music and stream videos, until the damned frame broke inside the padding. Been looking for a set of wireless since, and I got some rather positive experience with the Sennheiser brand. Had a gaming headset as my first, and it was pure awesome - until one of my cats gnawed on the cable, but it was my fault to leave it around unprotected (and I still kick myself over it); then, when I bought a microphone for singing (or trying to...), I chose the Sennheiser e835 S (switch version) over the singer's standard Shure SM-57 model (and cost me 20 euros cheaper, too!). All these experiences might make me sound biased, but at the time I'm writing this comment, I can get the Sennheiser for less than 100 euros, when the Skullcandy costs 170... Damn! This review has some very valid points, which I certainly won't disregard while testing both models. Though I feel positive whichever I pick, will be an improvement over the Satechi one, which I bought on a budget - construction looks sturdier on both models here reviewed.
I’ve been using sennheiser hd 4.40bt for a while (about 1.5 yr) and i tried the crusher too. Choose wisely coz it can cause u problems. I picked the sennheiser coz it feels like more balanced than the crusher plus i have a small head and ears. But that’s my style. I do recommend both of them. Both of them is comfy and cool so the rest depends on your opinion.
I purchased the Skullcandy headphones on sale for $129! Best headphones I’ve had by far! Only takes a 10 minute charge to get you 3 hours of playtime! Setup is a snap. They are comfy and the bass is ridiculous. Highly recommend!
Wow. Your videos are amazing. I am impatiently waiting for my birthday because I know I'll get the Crusher Wireless. Your videos make the wait even harder but I still can't stop watching. Thank you for your awesome reviews!
I have Crushers, they are fantastic, I also have Sennheisers HD599 and Sony MDR 1A. For the wireless headphones, i only touch crushers. For wired, the other two, one for more base heavy and one for ultimate clarity and sound stage.
What about the JVC HA-SZ2000 bass king? How do these compare to the skull candy. Sure the jvc needs a amp to get its full power but I just want to compare the bass at full power.
The Sennheisers are great for music, movies, and I was surprised but they have great directional sound and bass when gaming. I find myself using them over my gaming headset when I don't need a Mic

I have a question for you. I feel like my Crusher wireless bass is worse than it was when I got them (By worse I mean the bass is not as powerful). Is it because I'm used to the bass or because of something else? Would be glad if you could help. Good video tho!
Hey Nick can u tell me which has more detailed sound.I like bass heavy music but I also listen to very soft vocals and instruments.which one would you recommend and why?
i had to boost the mids with an eq for these to sound decent to me. the vocals felt pretty shallow, weak and not much body to them. after I did that they sound okay.
Hi Nick, I'm really not interested on having a huge amount of bass on my headphones, I would rather prefer a clear sound with good mids and highs...do you have any recommendations on this? I am currently thinking that skullcandy and sennheiser are both good brand options to start with. Thank you very much for the help
Hey Nick I was debating whether to get the Sennheiser HD 4.40BT or Sony MDR-XB950BT exclusively for watching films with my home theater setup. With the AptX on the Sennheiser swaying me in that direction. However the Skullcandy Crushers look so deliciously comfortable and better build in this comparison... Do you think they would be a good choice for my needs?
With my experience with the skullcandy crusher without wireless a few years back as amazing as they were I went to sony mdr-xb950n1 and they broke in 3 months the ear cups fell out alot and the earpiece broke off. I am getting the crusher wireless for Christmas, I'm into rap music so I'm definitely gonna want bass
The crushers may seem to have very good build quality but they don't. After 8 months of daily use the headband broke and the speaker hinges also cracked. This is a common issue since I found multiple people complaining about the same cracked plastic issue. Thankfully their warrenty is top notch and I got tokens to buy replacement headphones without any issues. However, how long before I have the same issue?... what happens after the 2 year warrenty passes?
Hey Nick! Thanks for the comparison, but I'm still confused. People praise the Sennheiser for their clarity, base and soundstage. I heard none of that going for the Crushers. But I'm still confused which to get.. Any help?
Great video! Wish I saw this before purchasing Sennheiser's - I tried a song on my iphone and it doesn't seem that loud... Are the skull candy's louder in terms of volume?
I have the Bluedio UFO PRO (the 12 driver extra BASS) and i´m currently waiting for my SkullCandy CRUSHER-Wireless to arrive from Amazon U.S., please do a VS between those 2 Headphones.
Well, from both of them i prefer the SK-SRUCHER Wireless, the Bluedios have a better sound quality than the CRUSHERS but the BASS is not that good and i`m more like a BASS head, i love the Cinematic feeling that the CRUSHERS deliver for watching movies and playing VideoGAMES. both of them are worth the price and easily beat the sh... out of the Beats (any of them).
Try them both. I have. And IMO the “listening” curve is quite deep when you use the Senns after the Crushers, you tend to feel empty and hollow. I like them both but again don’t use them one after the other, like give it a day or so in between.
Currently listening to this with my Seinheisser HD 202 headphones... Was anxious to select headphones at such high levels of price. But got all my queries cleared. Thank You. And, is the warranty period same for both of them or not?
Hello , please help me how comfortable it is if use for more than 3 hours ? how is the quality for #movie #music ? can we play music whenBatteryDead via wire ? which one is better ? should i look for bose sound link ear around headset also ? please make sure about comfort as i have normal ear size but i am consern about comfort more... cant try any of those as i need to buy online . hope its worth
Hi Nick thank you for that great video you made it really gives me a clear picture which brands to buy I got a question to ask whats your taughts on Skullcandy crusher 360 ? Are they any good or better then the ones youve ttried here ?
Hey, I loved you video! I'm wondering whether to buy the Sennheiser HD 4.50 or the Skullcandy Crusher, which one do you think would give a better overall listening experience along with a very good durability (I mean do you think both headphones would last at least 2 years in a good sound and confort condition)?
Im trying to find moniter accurate ones with hesh 3/crusher type ear muffs but im having a hard time. My hesh 3s broke and i wanted to move up in quality but dont want bass to drown out sounds or vocals.
I ordered hesh3s and canceled the order at the last minute and got the crusher wireless instead and I'm happy. When the slider is not turned up the bass is normal and not too much..
im striving for the Skullcandy's because i love adjustable bass, because i listen to rap and hip hop a lot and i use apple ear buds, the bass is alresdy really good. but when i get my hands on the skullcandy's, gee im ready for thay bass. also because i also saw them as low as $120 on amazon so yeah
Help me please. I have a decision between Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT and Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7. Which one is better? I don't want Crusher, cuz I need AptX support
I’ve got a pair of the sen, and yep, when using the mic I hear myself. But I hate that...I tried to play games with friends, and sure, it ain’t meant for it, but hearing myself sucks. Any way to turn it off?
that annoying clicky sound when you was wiggling the skullcandys is the hinge which has just snapped on mine when i was opening them up, wasnt even being rough tbh! iv just bought the sennheisers which are way better when it comes to sound quality.
I got a Skullcandy Crusher Wireless... broke at the hinge within 4 weeks... I’m very careful with technology too so I doubt it was any manhandling that caused it

Go fot the hesh 2 or the hesh 3..i own both of these in the video.. And ended up selling sennheiser away and get hesh 3
Yes Skullcandy is a very nice American company. Set in Utah, global distribution! You pay a ton but it’s worth every cent!
Yessirr
Urbanite XL, HD400S, or H4.30G, which is better?
i'm wondering how the crusher wireless is compared to the beats studio wireless in terms of bass and clarity?
I have the Bluedio UFO PRO (the 12 driver extra BASS) and i´m currently waiting for my SkullCandy CRUSHER-Wireless to arrive from Amazon U.S., please do a VS between those 2 Headphones.
Maybe you should get ur ass up and make it urself cuz u got both of them already
Gurjot Playz ir right
Gurjot Playz LMAO 😂😂😂
Fernando Vela which one do you prefer?
Well, from both of them i prefer the SK-SRUCHER Wireless, the Bluedios have a better sound quality than the CRUSHERS but the BASS is not that good and i`m more like a BASS head, i love the Cinematic feeling that the CRUSHERS deliver for watching movies and playing VideoGAMES. both of them are worth the price and easily beat the sh... out of the Beats (any of them).
You like the look of the crusher? They have two wires just sticking out! For that reason alone I’d buy the sennheiser’s. I already did, actually.
Alex Trlin I think the exposed wires look cool
Alex Trlin Is it comfortable?
Try them both. I have. And IMO the “listening” curve is quite deep when you use the Senns after the Crushers, you tend to feel empty and hollow. I like them both but again don’t use them one after the other, like give it a day or so in between.
Currently listening to this with my Seinheisser HD 202 headphones... Was anxious to select headphones at such high levels of price. But got all my queries cleared. Thank You. And, is the warranty period same for both of them or not?
which one should i buy i need base and comfort
I am really confused between these two...any suggestions which one should I buy??
Hello ,
please help me how comfortable it is if use for more than 3
hours ? how is the quality for #movie #music ? can we play music
whenBatteryDead via wire ? which one is better ? should i look for bose sound link ear around headset also ? please make sure about comfort as i have normal ear size but i am consern about comfort more... cant try any of those as i need to buy online . hope its worth
I wonder what the difference is between the crusher evo's?
How about Skullcandy Hesh 3?
Excellent review! Thank you!
So does the mic still work on the hd 4.40s whilst there plugged in..?
Hi Nick thank you for that great video you made it really gives me a clear picture which brands to buy I got a question to ask whats your taughts on Skullcandy crusher 360 ? Are they any good or better then the ones youve ttried here ?
That’s all what I think after I try the crusher. The massive bass of it sounds so fkin great!!
Go with the senn. Skullcandy has overpowered sound and artificial bass
Which one is best headphones for working out?
Great video man, went for the sennhiser thanks too your video, thanks.
Does the skullcandy have any delay cause some wireless while gaming has sound delays
Could you tell me what the inner dimensions of the HD 4.4 pads are?
Are the scullcandy crushers better or the audio technica ar3btbk?
Use the equalizers and effects in the sennheiser CapTune app
that annoying clicky sound when you was wiggling the skullcandys is the hinge which has just snapped on mine when i was opening them up, wasnt even being rough tbh! iv just bought the sennheisers which are way better when it comes to sound quality.
Can I use them for sports?!
This or the mdr-950n1?
listening using the mdr 950bt
Same lol
I got a Skullcandy Crusher Wireless... broke at the hinge within 4 weeks... I’m very careful with technology too so I doubt it was any manhandling that caused it
It was you, dude
@@kenbee1957 Except many many reviews state the same thing? lol
I had the Skullcandy crusher i now have the crusher evo i prefer the crusher evo as you can customise your equaliser
Just bought the Sennheiser HD 4.40 at sale on my country for 65. It was a no brainer.
are both of these better then the sony xb950bt in terms of sound?
