I bought this a few years back over a 200-$300 range headphones because my thought was "why am I going to TRAVEL in public with headphones that cost as much as a graphics card or game console?" - I only paid $100 for these things too.
Hey, guys! I bought these a while ago and have to say they're extremely comfy and great value for the money. However, I am experiencing an issue when they're wireless - the volume is significantly lower when everything is maxed out. When I plug them in, the sound volume jumps up a lot. Did someone else experience this? If so, how did you fix it? :)
Hello! Nice video. What do you think about the AKG Y50BT? and what can you say in comparison with the HD4.40BT? And then, the sennheiser are too big? Thanks!
Great review! Do you think the noise cancelling in the 4.50 headphones is worth the extra 50 bucks? Or do the 4.40s do a good job of blocking out sound on their own?
Hi Adam, I haven't tried the 4.50, so I can't say how good the noise cancellation is. I have tried many other pairs of noise cancelling headphones though, and I personally don't think it's a feature I need. If you frequently use these in the public, then it may be worth it. These block noise very well on their own since the earpads fit so snugly.
I understand that the audio cable allows you to use the headphones as a normal wired set, I wanted to know if one is able too answer and make calls while the audio cable is plugged in, or is the mic disabled entirely?
Are they a good purchase at $60? They are on sale on a local store at that price. Thought they looked a little cheap, I’m used to the Vmoda Crossfade 2 wireless and to the QC35.

@@deadpixel08 I'm still with the original parts. Haven't replaced anything. They still look like the day I bought them. Just the Sennheiser logo is a little bit washed
Compared to the HD 4.40, how well is the isolation especially with ANC? Are the extra cost worth the features? Lastly about the earcup size, if I'm used to use the PC363D, how much smaller are the HD 4.50?
Are those good for chatting (and listening the game audio at the same time) while playing on a PS4 pro? Is the microphone a good one? Does it catch my voice and not too much the exterior sounds? Thanks.
Hi Nick! Thanks for the nice review. I'm looking for my next Wireless Headphones. The point of comparison is the MDRXB950BT. I'm looking for something better than that, I mean, moving to the next step. I actually love the bass of that headphones, but I want a more balance model without leaving that special vibration feel that Sony reach with that headphones. So, the question is: Do you recommend this model, the Urbanite XL Wireless or have another model in mind?

They are so light weight. Sound quality is probably my only disappointing area, which is why I ask about an app to adjust the EQ a bit. Maybe I’m spoiled? oh god...i just bought the skullcandy hesh 3 and the materials just feel really cheap, now i have the option to replace them with a pair of sennheiser hd 4.40. what do you say, should i do it?
Hey Nick! Thanks for the review! I have purchased this pair of headphones, and I get a constant "hissing" sound (pretty noticeable volume) when a track is played, and also a very little hiss when nothing is played, just the headphone is turned on. Do you happen to notice this also or my pair just faulty or it is standard with every BT headphones? Thanks!
I don't have such a sound even when using them via Bluetooth. There is a very tiny, almost unnoticeable (it's just too low, too too low) hissing sound when something is playing but when there is nothing playing, it is perfectly silent. I would suggest you visit the Sennheiser service centre or ask for a replacement.
Feels weird checking this review a month after purchasing these headphones. Anyway, I do feel your annoyance with the oval shaped ear cup padding. Since thy are replaceable, do you what can I replace the padding with? Something that would still be as thick and sound isolating but also round and bit more comfortable on the ear
How are these headphones when compared to Sony ZX770BN and Audio Technica ATH-M40X? They are both around the same price in our country and I would like to hear some user experience from these headphones before buying.
just got my 4.40bt in the mail today. initial impressions, let me start by saying i know very little of technology. my sennheiser 380 pro's (wired) crapped out on me so i decided to go wireless. as i type, i am listening to dinosaur jr. where you been album. these headphones are much bassier, much less crisp mids and highs. i guess i never knew how spoiled i was with the 380's. they are comfortable however, even tho i initially thought they were on ear but my ears have squeezed in there. very easy to sync up with my iPod which is very important to a technotard like myself. don't understand the jack tho. why make the end you put into the headphones so small for the hole? you can twist it in but every time i turn my head, as it charges, i lose the right side. also a slight bumble in the background when silent. not sure what a bumble is but it seems correct
Great review! this might be a stupid question but, does anyone know tat if you use them as regular headphones with the wire, do you use the battery of the headphones or not?
Well its not a stupid question coz there are some headphones which use the battery even with a wire. But these headphones don't use the battery when connected with a wire. They can be used with a wire even when the battery is completely dead.
I like them, bought from amazon.de to Finland. Really good sound quality and battery life. the only drawback is the padding on the headband, witch makes them uncomfortable after about half an hour, after a 2 minute break it is good again.
Hi when you say that you can pair 2 devices at same time , does that mean that you can listen to both at the same time ? An do you know if the Sony 950s do as well ?
It was a great video . I liked it, that siri activation wasn't mentioned in the manual also, thanks for that info. How did you twist and lock that. I am trying since days but can't get it locked. And they also mentioned CapTune app. But I can't find it on IOS and Android . So is it's name changed?? Please help!! Thank you!!
How do you get rid of the BEEP when you press the volume on the Headset and on the phone Volume buttons too? The Beep happens when I turn my volume up or down, it’s irritating, and the headset beeps between tracks too
When I have 2 devices paired, audio only plays from the last device that connects to it. How do I get audio to play from both devices at the same time?
This may sound like a dumb question, but do these sound better than the default wired Apple Earpods? I only ask because I've bought Sony headphones for the price of these Sens that sounded wayyy worse than Earpods
Hi I'm looking at the documentation for these headphones online and Sennheiser seem rather insistent that these headphones are for mobile devices only. Is there any reason why i should not / could not pair these with my bluetooth enabled Windows 10 PC or my iMac running Yosemite?

How are these headphones when compared to Sony ZX770BN and Audio Technica ATH-M40X? They are both around the same price in our country and I would like to hear some user experience from these headphones before buying.
Very good video, nice quality! congratulations!
just got my 4.40bt in the mail today. initial impressions, let me start by saying i know very little of technology. my sennheiser 380 pro's (wired) crapped out on me so i decided to go wireless. as i type, i am listening to dinosaur jr. where you been album. these headphones are much bassier, much less crisp mids and highs. i guess i never knew how spoiled i was with the 380's. they are comfortable however, even tho i initially thought they were on ear but my ears have squeezed in there. very easy to sync up with my iPod which is very important to a technotard like myself. don't understand the jack tho. why make the end you put into the headphones so small for the hole? you can twist it in but every time i turn my head, as it charges, i lose the right side. also a slight bumble in the background when silent. not sure what a bumble is but it seems correct
thanks for your video its well developed. I have a question, why isn't there any app to manage this SENN model?
Are they good for classical music(concerts, opera) or you recommend some other headphones?
Great review! this might be a stupid question but, does anyone know tat if you use them as regular headphones with the wire, do you use the battery of the headphones or not?
Well its not a stupid question coz there are some headphones which use the battery even with a wire. But these headphones don't use the battery when connected with a wire. They can be used with a wire even when the battery is completely dead.
+shashank reddy thank you very much for your reply!
I like them, bought from amazon.de to Finland. Really good sound quality and battery life. the only drawback is the padding on the headband, witch makes them uncomfortable after about half an hour, after a 2 minute break it is good again.
Is it only me or there is somebody else annoyed by a beep every time when you change the song or adjust volume? Is there any way to switch it off?
Beeps are excruciating, the last time I heard one it made my ears bleed and the earth shook then fell apart.😀
Nice video. Do you mind telling me what camera do you use to take this video?
Have you tried it in gaming?
If you use it wired all the way, still battery will last same with bluetooth length of playback?
Hi when you say that you can pair 2 devices at same time , does that mean that you can listen to both at the same time ? An do you know if the Sony 950s do as well ?
It was a great video .
I liked it, that siri activation wasn't mentioned in the manual also, thanks for that info.
How did you twist and lock that. I am trying since days but can't get it locked.
And they also mentioned CapTune app. But I can't find it on IOS and Android . So is it's name changed??
Please help!! Thank you!!
is the sound different between the bluetooth and the wired ones? Please reply!!!
Unfortunately, that is not possible.
I believe it's only bluetooth 5.0 that supports streaming to/from multiple devices
I saw that feature on my note 9
Thanks! High quality informative video. :)
Great review! I just bought these at Best Buy for $99 to replace my Skull Candy Hesh 2's that the cups are to small for me.
I have a Momentum (first one)... will my ears like this?! (considering the price difference & also being wireless)
Do you know any earpads that can replace these? Or at least the dimensions of the whole earpad (not just the inside opening)? Thanks!
