Hahahahahha. I always interview the company. I tell them that I’m interviewing them as well and they don’t ask questions after that. They just answer them.
Thanks to Veronika, I didn't allow a new employer to move my start date back by a week due to someone on their end dropping the ball and not contacting the movers until I called to remind them to do so. I used Veronika language and they backed off. 😊😊😊😊😊 So seriously, thank-you so very much for these videos.
Yep , been there , and those corporate bastards ( managers / HR ) tried to get rid of me for years , luckaly though i was able to just hang in there until i could enjoy my pension at 55 , i really don't miss my job : )
Friday before Labor day in 2006, I had jon interview. Everyone in the building from the receptionist, to maintenance, to regular employees were had that disgruntled look. I was there for 20 minutes waiting to be interviewed. My first question was "did someone die?" Interviewer said, "No, why do you ask?" I explained what I noticed and asked if it was always like this. She didn't respond. I ended the interview.
I really need Veronica. Im trying to enter the workforce again after being strictly self-employed online. Ive got mental health stuff that makes me pretty easy to take advantage of... Veronica is helping me find my strong voice
I need to be the bigger person? Isn't anyone above me in the company not only being paid more than me, but they are also essentially assumed to be a bigger and more important person in the company... by design?
So the company doesn't want to pay its employees. That is obviously not a positive thing for those employees. If many will leave the company due to this scheme, it would severly damage the company and its reputation. How is this scheme positive for the company? Companies need to understand that they are nothing without their workforce. If you are screwing over your employees, do not be suprised if you find them with your competitors in the near future.
Nothing kills me like Veronica's manager ,you can tell the anxiousness in her voice because she knows with Vero you have to known your story when dealing with her😂😂😂😂😂
There's no right to free speech while working for a corporation. The US constitution only prohibits the government from restricting free speech. But, if a company wants to fire someone because they are on social media, there's no law against doing so. A company will typically not be so draconian, but they could, unless there is a state law prohibits that. If the company has a policy, they need to follow it, but that's about it.
Good take it up with the attorney. A good attorney can file for anything and settle 1 week before trial for an undisclosed amount. I'd call old Berk Hathaway just because and see if there is cause and if not is there anything else we can file over? Is that whole office ada complaint for example? Is this a hostile work environment?
As a retired HR employee, Veronica sounds like a pain in the rear and needs to be a supervisor so she can understand what it's like to have an employee who acts like they are attacked while, they, themselves attack.
If only it worked like that in real life. Many employers would not hire you. They just remain professional and answer all the questions so that you have no claims against them…
The first amendment does not apply in this context. There are other reasons why the company could be wrong to question Veronika's social media presence, but the first amendment is not one of them. The first amendment protects citizens from the government. It does not protect citizens from other citizens or non-governmental bodies, e.g. their employer.
As a delivery driver I hate the tipping system I wish I could rely on my employer to pay my wages and not strangers I’m hoping to find a better job soon but the tipping system really is stupid and frustrating not going to lie
Yeah, I can see what's going to happen if they do cut the workers' money and expect customers to give them tips to replace what they lost. There is going to be a mass walkout, and the company is going to go out of business.
Yes thank you for calling out how fucked tipping culture has gotten. Managers want customers to be responsible for paying their employees a livable wage when customers ALSO are trying to survive off a livable wage and so many people feed into and enable this by saying “you should always tip”.
The only way things “work out” for Veronica is because its scripted and she has all the come backs in line, kinda like a Comedian with fake audience member or fake hecklers where the comedian has a conversation with an audience member but it sure sounds like the comedian had practiced that convo before.
Veronica, you know you are " property " right ? You realize that you are not, let's say, milky, and under the 1969 " equal rights amendment " all non " milky " employees are PROPERTY and you are owned by the company.
Usually agree with the points made in these videos, but a company can definitely, and lawfully, fire you for what you put on social media. It is definitely not a first amendment issue as you are not being legally prosecuted for your speech. A private company is within its rights to fire you for that if they want
I always wonder why use corporate talk and bs instead of speaking directly and having some empathy Corporate talk is used to avoid legal trouble when you do unlawful acts but you won't have legal trouble if you treat your workers right and don't engage in unlawful conduct
Concerning the job interview i think the core idea is a good one, you should *always* ask questions in such an interview even if you already know the answer. On the other hand... sry veronica you come off as a bit offensive in this interview. There are ways to pack these questions in a more polite way. Although i recognise this might be a cultural thing.
I like Veronica and find her characterisations funny. Having said that, I think that she is the cartoon character most likely to end up doing life in prison or waiting for the gurney and the needle on unalive row
We just fired an employee for RUclips videos that were harmful to our company. "Free speech" has nothing to do with it. We are not a government entity. "Free Speech" as covered by the first amendment does not apply to private companies. There are consequences to speech and the Veronicas of the world should know that.
That cannot be the entire truth. If a company could restrict everything you say on social media by just using the (unproven) claim that it hurt the company they could theoretically forbid their employees to say just anything. A lawyer would be needed to determine if there is indeed any danger for the company and if that potential danger outweighs the right to free speech. Please note: the rights by the government supersede the rights of a company.
At this point i have to say Veronica is a freedom fighter 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
"This isn't an attack, it's just the slimiest conversation ever."
Record everything, your lawyer will want to have a good laugh. So will the judge. Her managers are crazy.
This makes me aware I’ve worked in a very toxic environment
6:11 Wait, if I’m the “bigger person”, what does that make you?!
The working class hero we deserve
Veronica says everything I’ve wanted to say to my bosses.
Hahahahahha. I always interview the company. I tell them that I’m interviewing them as well and they don’t ask questions after that. They just answer them.
Do they employee afterwards?
Thanks to Veronika, I didn't allow a new employer to move my start date back by a week due to someone on their end dropping the ball and not contacting the movers until I called to remind them to do so. I used Veronika language and they backed off. 😊😊😊😊😊
So seriously, thank-you so very much for these videos.
These sketches are fun but they belong to a different universe. In ours, if we say things the way Veronica does, we will get fired ASAP.
Seriously. First Amendment rights only apply to government jobs.
💯 People get fired for what they post on social media *all the time*, I guarantee that.
Yep , been there , and those corporate bastards ( managers / HR ) tried to get rid of me for years , luckaly though i was able to just hang in there until i could enjoy my pension at 55 , i really don't miss my job : )
@@antoonhermans8953 well done 👏👏👏
Not true. My co-worker cussed my director out and she is still working there so not true

That tipping scheme would have resulted in my offering a few colorful words finished by I QUIT!
As someone who worked 45 years in an office setting, these are hilarious. I can absolutelyrelate!
The eye brows 😂
I really need Veronica. Im trying to enter the workforce again after being strictly self-employed online. Ive got mental health stuff that makes me pretty easy to take advantage of... Veronica is helping me find my strong voice
I need to be the bigger person? Isn't anyone above me in the company not only being paid more than me, but they are also essentially assumed to be a bigger and more important person in the company... by design?
HR just threw her manager under the bus😂😂😂😂
Just found Veronica today. Love her!
So the company doesn't want to pay its employees. That is obviously not a positive thing for those employees. If many will leave the company due to this scheme, it would severly damage the company and its reputation.

I want to question your TicToc without sounding like I am questioning your TicToc. I want to be on the sidewalk when the bus rolls over you.
I want to be Veronica when I grow up. These are actually really educational, too. Bravisimo.
I NEED to hear the 15 questions. Have you made a video about that before? If anyone knows plz point me in the direction where of that video
We expect our candidates to ask questions in the interview. If they don’t, it’s actually a bit of a red flag.
Nothing kills me like Veronica's manager ,you can tell the anxiousness in her voice because she knows with Vero you have to known your story when dealing with her😂😂😂😂😂
their eyebrows: ↑↓↓↑↓↑↑↑↓↑↓↓↓
I love when candidates ask questions during an interview it makes to very productive! But I wouldn’t hire Veronica lol!
Loving Veronica, wish I could put my POV so eloquently without being labelled rude

True. However, so many people don’t understand this that I’m all about bluffing with it, lol

This tyrannical behavior is exactly the reason we have guns.
@@Hat3M0ng3rUninformed comment of the day
Thank you
How would it hurt the company? I don’t know where she works.
Wow go Veronika, I support you 100%
Love it! I also like the art style.
Always record and document conversations.
Angry conversations the author had in the shower with themselves
I made $2.15 as a waitress...43years ago.🤣 Was not able to live that alone. Think the heavens foe good tippers!
VERONICA IS A BOSS! I LOVE HER! 🥰
The reverse interview is quite typical to me...
As a retired HR employee, Veronica sounds like a pain in the rear and needs to be a supervisor so she can understand what it's like to have an employee who acts like they are attacked while, they, themselves attack.
If only it worked like that in real life. Many employers would not hire you. They just remain professional and answer all the questions so that you have no claims against them…
Cutting wages is a guarantee to lose workforce to better paying companies.
'be the bigger person' means 'be our doormat'
Record everything and put these people behind bars.
😂 Now people want to know where she works.

I have seen this so many times.
That one on tipping - would be handing in notice and speaking to authorities - sounds illegal.
Veronika ❤
We, they switch up 😂 Trying to seperate herself from the drama she's bringing! 🙄🖐🏾
You would not get hired or you would immediately get let go within your first 60 days if you acted like this.
You would think that management would've backed off by now. How have they not learned by now.
As a delivery driver I hate the tipping system I wish I could rely on my employer to pay my wages and not strangers I’m hoping to find a better job soon but the tipping system really is stupid and frustrating not going to lie

This sounds like a real incident
Okay but the "tipping idea" is disguting
This feels offensively accurate. I'm not sure if this should be categorized as comedy or a documentary
It’s dark, dark comedy precisely aligned with reality. If you can’t laugh at it, you’re only left to cry.

Just wondering if you’re going to credit the original creator of these scenarios?
She doesn't understand freedom of speech.
Not AT ALL! 🤣
She definitely cannot do something of her own like making videos if contract of job restrict that. Lawyer cannot do anything for her.

The concept makes sense, but you talk like that and you get pushed out. Frame the narrative better
I like Veronica and find her characterisations funny. Having said that, I think that she is the cartoon character most likely to end up doing life in prison or waiting for the gurney and the needle on unalive row

Here in the UK, the Stasi just show up without warning and throw you in prison because of social media posts. I'd say you guys have it pretty good!
