I have been in pain for over 3 months. I feel pain when I move my left arm. Ice isn't helping much and stretching isn't possible because the pain is overwhelming.
Great stuff , greta presenting- I also really appreciated the way just GOT to the info. This elf us in pain don't need much more. I'll give this a try. Thank you!
Tk u doc im diabetic frm.india n got frozen shoulders since 4 mths been to physiotherapists n doing exercises my range of motion has improved but i wud like to no d difference between shoulder bursitis n frozen shoulders
wow, these are really nice therapy exercises, thank you doctor. I'll definitely try these. And if you don't have small dumbbells, just hold something, like 2 cans of soup or two full water bottles or 2 detergent jugs or two small weight plates, or 2 cantaloups or 2 heads of cabbage ..or 2 travel mugs full of water.
Great Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you considered - Schallingora Font Storage Scheme (do a google search)? It is a smashing one off guide for getting rid of your shoulder pain minus the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cousin at last got astronomical results with it.
Feel better right away doing these kinds of exercises that squeeze my back between the shoulder blades. Shoulder feels looser, movement less painful. Thanks. And I do have poor posture. Have to work on that.
Amazing clear video, so easy to follow, well presented👏🏽 I've seemingly had this bursitis forever and the pain and unstableness won't go away and I just wanna get back to the gym, is it the case of the more consistent you are and the more you work your shoulder the better it is? I hope this helps my recovery :) thanks again
With all do respect to your professional knowledge and experience, perhaps these exercises would help prevent or manage mild bursitis, but most likely irritate or exacerbate the typical bursitis sufferer. Especially 1st and 3rd. No chance in the condition I'm in.
Will def be doing this at home... Had to get a cortisone shot earlier... Nurses was laughing at the "biker dude covered in tattoos, but scared of needles"... Woke up a year ago and shoulder felt like a toothache was in it... My ol lady finally made me go to Dr... A year later.. and yep Bursitis was the diagnosis... (Sad face) :(
Totally feel you. Cortisone shot works wonders but unfortunately is a temporary & dangerous solution. Exercise is the best way to go, though enduring the pain & practicing patience is def not easy...
I've had shoulder bursitis for 11 months now, 2 cortisone injects and the pec stretch at that angle will definitely pinch it and WITYs are out of the question even without the weights.
@@khakhashankeng391 I had a cortisone shot 30 years ago and worked until about 2 week ago. Been trying to exercise for it but can do all these. Guess i will have to go for another shot. Have had 2 shots for my knees but only lasts for a few months. pain is not fun..I don't understand why they give these exercises having to put our arms up as i sure can't do that..
My bursitis is so sore I was only able to do the push down on the chair. The first exercise hurt like hell and I know there is no way I could do the last!
Hi dear I have one question like i have shoulder bursitis, it's been more than 2 months i am unable to recover, already went to orthopaedic but no sign of recovery, ok so when I can start this exercise as I have the pain and a bit of swelling ?
@@NecrosisXIII can’t believe this was 3 years ago, but I ended up fixing it after doing the physio work for a couple of months! Just make sure I warm up the shoulder joints before training these days.
Sorry but these look more like stretches to prevent bursa pain maybe. I can tell you now that if you truly have bursa pain exercises 1 and 3 will be absolute agony. I've had 2 injections 3 months apart and its sorted one of my shoulders and brung the pain down by 95% ( for how long I dont know ) and I now need injections in my other shoulder. They are a mess and and the only thing I can think of that caused it was that i have a habit of leaning on my elbows/forearms when sitting on seats on at desks. It truly sucks and I have had this for almost a year. My consultant say it can last for upto 3 years. It's a miserable condition to have, just about everything you do other than keeping your arms by your side hurts and dont get me started about the frozen shoulder I got because of it. If you think a bursa injection in your shoulder sucks, get one for a frozen shoulder =). Good luck to everyone with the condition.

Christopher I’d love to hear how you are going & what has worked for you. I’ve had 2 injections and there has been very little change. I have lost the range of movement in my shoulder and can barely lift my arm high enough to put deodorant on. It’s so painful doing almost anything, especially getting dressed. 😢
@@kyliewood5834 truly sorry to read this. You sound like you are in exactly the same condition I was. I ended up getting some more injections and followed the recommended stretching. I'm thankfully now in a position where I have mostly full movement back. I still get nipping if I rotate my arms in certain positions but I can live with it. My hope is I will gradually get better over time but it's been 3 years now and I'm still not 100%. If all else fails you may need surgery but push for a few more injections in you can. You clearly have a frozen shoulder now which will require a hydrodistebsion injection to expand the shoulder socket and free it up. In total I had 2 of those and 3 bursa injections in my right shoulder before it was sorted. My left took 1 less hydro injection to get moving fully.
The last exercise with the weights....c'mon, really? I am going to lift weights UP in front of me while laying flat? It is nearly impossible for the average person to do this.
@@GoodWillPrevail my friend you can do anything you prefer. I'm not saying this is what you have to do, just that with tiny movements it is possible. And maybe beneficial. :)
Dear Travis, you nailed it! Golden buzzard for you along with blessings! 🎉

thanks man, finally an explanation of the root cause (shoulder blade position). makes sense since I have bad posture at work.

Does anyone here ever answer the questions in the comments? If the pain is too much to do these exercises, what do you recommend?
TAKE ONE TYLENOL AN HOUR BEFORE EXERCISING.
how many times a week would you recommend doing this exercise?

Wow I can’t get my arm in any of these positions , so painful 😬.
I can’t even lift my arms above me head most days. No way I can do these right now
