I have Grave's disease. My TSH was undetectable, and my heart was racing. Thankfully I did not get the thyroid eye. I got RAI. I didn't feel good for at least 5 yrs. very tired. I took Tapazole for my racing heart. I was allergic big time. Had hives over every inch of my body, between my toes, bottom of feet, my scalp in my ears. Just miserable, trouble breathing so I was admitted to the hospital. No fun at all.

It feels like my heart is racing but I use my EKG on the Apple Watch and it seems normal. People say as long as it’s below 100, you’re fine. But does that count if it’s usually at 50? Or whatever? Like I feel if it’s jumping up by 20, it shouldn’t matter if it’s under 100 or not

I have heart palpitations 24/7 and my resting heart rate is usually 100 and that's taking propranolol twice a day and yes I've had my heart tested by different cardiologist's and an electrophysiologist and it's basically my Graves. After surgery and doped up and feeling absolute numbness my again, resting, heart rate has been over 150. Try to see your endocrinologist and maybe a cardiologist if you feel unsure.

Bradycardia is a slow heart rate. I saw a cardiologist because my bpm is 120 at resting. She said the tachycardia is caused by something else physical, not a heart issue. She ran a full blood panel and my T4 is sky high. My primary put me on beta blockers today propranolol. I have to book an appointment, ent with ultrasound, and endocrinologist.
My cardiologist wants to do an echocardiogram in November, to see if the tachycardia weakened my heart.

Yes, if your resting HR has gone up, that is a sign for changes going on. How are you now, one year later?
