I love these books so much. They came to Brasil because of the Hunger Games's. I read when I was in school without zero expectations and now it is one of my favorite sagas. I wish we could have an adaptation. An animation would be perfect
Read this series repeatedly as a kid. Now at 25 I just finished it again. The last two books still hit so hard. So dark. So brutal. So heart wrenching. The legitimate effects of war on a 12 year old boy. Not just as a spectator, but as soldier. The trauma of war and death. Cycles of violence. It really becomes surprising how young an audience it is directed towards. So hard to accept the story is over. I cried multiple times at the end.
Colton Childers Ares’s death was the first ever time I cried reading a book. This series holds a special place in my heart. I loved rereading it constantly during my childhood.
So am I. The Underland Chronicles is a surprisingly smart work of "juvenile fiction" / "young adult" fiction, with prose that describes the big picture of what's going on with Gregor's situation and the situations he is witnessing with both straightforward but also nuanced maturity. I oughtta re-read it. I last re-read it in 2014.
I love this series I can’t believe I never saw your video

10 years later, and I'm still waiting for a new book :(
wait wait wait, 10 years!? Ok, ok, I'm pretty sure there is not another book. (lets hope there is)
I hope the new book will come out about Gregor and Luxa become a couple and married

The “Overlander” series is much better the the “Hunger Games” series!
Gregor was a much better written character than Catnis.
Great story
