The gauge cluster looks so sick at night, the gas and temp gauge give a slight 80s airplane inspired feel

It looks so much cleaner on the inside than most sports cars do.

Having driven one of these earlier this year, if you own one of these you are one lucky SOB. Probably the quickest, most nimble car ive ever driven.

I don’t say this as a complaint, but rather I’m hoping Toyota responds to the upcoming manual Z car: if they make this with a manual transmission I’m ready to order! 😬. Awesome car and don’t mind the BMW sourcing, but would rather keep paddle shifting for my daily driver and then manual for a weekend car. Great video and thanks for not overhyping with bad music and such! ✌🏻

the supra with the b58 pops and bangs way more when fully stock than on a fully stock b58 in an bmw x40i
That eco wind noise with window open at high speed is a massive oversight on Toyota's part.

@@bobbymayyy Not good for the glass? What utter nonsense. If the car wasn't designed to have roll down windows, it shouldn't come from the factory with them. People drive with windows down for a multitude of reasons, not the least of which is to be more aware of your surroundings. A good beat cop will always roll with his window cracked/down, even if he's running AC. I roll with mine cracked for the above reason, and also so I can hear my engine, brakes and transmission. Easier to spot any problems if you can hear it in action.
I agree that the echo/ crosswind is a huge oversight. I've heard there are simple and cheap aftermarket fixes though. A little wind deflector piece on the mirror or A pillar. Shouldn't have to use such a fix, but at least it exists.

Thanks for this awesome video! Can't believe how thick those A-pillars are. And with the narrow letter box windshield, is it difficult to see the stop lights while stopped at an intersection? This city has them spaced far enough, but in congested areas where lights are 15 feet away from the stop line, I'd imagine they'd be difficult to see from the driver's perspective.
Yeah seeing those close traffic lights may be an inconvenience, especially if you're taller. I think the A-pillars are thick because of safety regulations. Just one of those modern safety requirements imposed on manufacturers.

Yep, that's how the infotainment is. It uses BMW's iDrive.
