Im the same as you bro, just think about it like this, when your of legal age to drive this would be pretty easy to get as a first car if u work hard enough. Unless your parents want to pay the monthly cost then i think you should get a job. Im certain u can find a job that pays atleast 500 a month and that is enough to lease the car. If u get a side hustle u might be able to get all the extra features too. I had the pleasure of driving this car once but dont tell nobody since i dont got a license lmao. They are very fun to drive and i feel are seriously underrated. Good luck man and i really hope you get this car and live out those long nights of cruising.
I used to remember wanting to buy a Miata for my first car ended up making my mind up and buying a 2017 Honda Civic. I hope you all end up buying a Miata I plan to buy one in a few years.
God damn this red is just fabulous, combined with the black trim pieces, wheels and roof it looks so sharp. Personally I always loved the blue they offer, but this is such a stunning color as well.

Nicely done video. I own this same 2019 RF Club series only in Arctic White...and it is the most fun car I’ve ever driven or owned. The video does a great job capturing the engine sound...omg...gotta love that high revving 184 HP engine.

I Turo'd one in LA for a week and loved it...but I haven't driven an S2000, and that's the only thing giving me pause on pulling the trigger on buying one.
The Honda S2000 is like the MX-5 but with Mountain Dew injected. The S2K definitely sounds better with a better engine, and its a bit more hardcore. However, the MX-5 is playful, even at low speeds. You can't really go wrong with either one. But I've been looking at the S2k prices, and some decent condition ones are going to low to mid 20k, which is nuts.

Cars are my passion. In my childhood i was dreaming about driving sport cars but im 35 now in my country cars are so expensive because of taxes and i cant afford it. Eventually all my dreams are wasted now im just looking at them (sportcars).
It's been the 1980's since I drove a stick (Pontiac Fiero-not proud), so sticks have changed I imagine. I wonder how the Miata is in LA Traffic, stop, shift stop shift. My wife wants me to get an Automatic but I'm leaning towards the stick, but she has a point about the traffic.
Yes, LA traffic can be brutal. Although it depends on your commute. If you're driving eastbound on the 10 freeway from Santa Monica to the east side of LA, then yes you're going to have a bad time. If I were you, I would rent a manual Miata for a week to see if you can tolerate it. The Miata's manual is actually really easy to drive. The clutch pedal is light and the shifter easily goes into gear. Good luck man!

It shouldn't. As long as it's a quality product and that it was installed properly. I'm assuming it's one of those electronic flaps on the exhaust that opens and closes. Is the one from Flyin Miata called the Hush O Matic exhaust?
@@MikeDrives now have the car. it seems to be a third exhaust under the car that is turned on and off as required. will probably leave it off unless the mood catches me.
You could probably pick up a used one for a good price. Perhaps in 3 years, the 2019s will be in the low 20k range. Depreciation is a car guys best friend haha.

I appreciate you watching! Yes, I would recommend this car to anyone regardless of gender. I noticed the recaro fit snug on me, and I'm about 160 pounds. As long as you're not over 6'3", you should be able to fit fine. Definitely check it out in person and try it out!
Yes, there's some rev hang due to emission standards. It's more pronounced when shifting from 1st to 2nd. It's not that bad and you get use to it. And yes you can get rid of it with an ECU tune. Also, this is not my MX-5 sadly :(
@@Nextman916 There are ECU tunes out there that let you tune it back to stock, in case you make a trip to the dealership. Though I agree with you in wanting to maintain that factory warranty.
I put the sitting position alot lower than I normally would, and I place the head mount just over my eyebrows. I'm also not that tall, so that helps too lol.
Man I love both the MX-5 and Cayman! Those two are great driver's car. Strictly for street driving, I think the MX-5 can be more engaging because of its playfulness. You can kick the back end out easily, and when that happens the car is very forgiving. It just wants to be tossed around. And when you do that you feel the lightness (only 2400 pounds!), as well as the body roll which gives you that extra thrill. Some people don't like that roll, but I think it gives you that extra haha moment in the driving experience. However, the Cayman is a scalpel. A precision tool that is well engineered and extremely balanced, and can make any average driver into a driving superstar. But that engine (the flat-6) sounds GLORIOUS! And that Cayman would be such a beast on the track/autocross. So yeah, you cannot go wrong with either one haha!
