Joder, hace mucho tiempo mi hermano me asustaba con esta línea, en ese tiempo el sonido del bajo de drain You era demasiado aterrador para mí incluso me lo imaginaba como una máquina que iba a matarme
HOW TO GET THIS SOUND, pro edition. 1. New bass strings. 2. Tuning ref pitch is A=444Hz (not A=440), with bass tuned a whole step down, DGCF. 3. Andy Wallace the mixer used the Yamaha SPX90 preset 15 "Symphonic" for this bass sound.. 4. Ampeg amp. You're welcome
@@surike I'm pretty sure shavo used a Warwick back in the day on the self titled album and then he switched to the T-bird. When I asked him which one he likes more he said he thought the T-bird was cool but the Warwick fits his style. He wasn't wrong. If you look back in the late 90s he looked badass holding that Warwick.
these are all terrible replies. a gibson ripper bass, as this tone require two humbuckers to be wired in the correct way, which is fairly unique to this bass. new rotosound 66 strings .73 pick.
the tone on his bass is so fucking sick
New Strings, SVT head, scooped midrange, DI mixed with amped sound tuned down to D or Eb.
It's d standard
That's was he said@@surike
Jose De Lara is spot on!!! it's those new strings and down tuning, with the midrange scooped. :-D
Que perfeição, meu Deus! 💕✨
You also need a Gibson Ripper to achieve this sound.

No.. the bass in System of a Down sounds like this!
