I’m kind of surprised they don’t have Grapher installed on the iPad by default, considering it comes by default on Macs. Shipping iPads with a graphing calculator seems like a good idea, as many schools lend iPads for educational purposes.

I heard that just before the release of the iPad, Steve Jobs saw the calculator it had and when he saw it was just the same thing as an iPhone's calculator, but bigger he went mad at those in charge of it; made them delete it and ordered them to make the best calculator there is.
I think I lost it at the end, but the history went a bit like that.

You can turn on the calculator app on iPad by using MDM but the screen resolution of the iPad isn’t properly supported and the calculator looks bad on the iPad.
