They have been growing and it probably wouldn't hurt to try and get into one of their videos when they are out there documenting the bogging.

i love how everyone shits on the 6.0 but JH, only real diesel guys know how good they can be. Mine is 20 years old, 320k miles never been opened and still running strong as can be.
I thought we were limiting projects and slimming down so you can get more projects done in shorter time😂😂

If anyone is considering buying anything with a 6.0 in it let this be the lesson. You'll need 50 projects on the go to have one that works for the weekend. It's friday and if you aint got one running right now go buy more and add it to the pile on sunday. .

My 6.0 used to make that same thumping noise. It was the lifters backing out of the tray. Turned two lifters sideways on the cam. Destroyed a lot of parts.

Even tho it's a 6.0l. 6200 for that here where I live is a awesome deal. Especially with the wheels and tires. Here they would sell that for 9500 bring stocks. That's a pretty damn good deal and I'm not a 6.0 fan. But I'd buy it at that and still smile.

Disclaimer: there is no such thing as a cheap bogger. It might start out somewhat cheap but I promise you it never stays that way. I can tell you from experiance. Looking forward to more bogging project videos!

I’ve had rocker arms cracked or broken also. But yes. Lifters are way more common.

Can you please explain your fascination with 6.0’s? Every diesel mechanic I’ve ever met seems to think they are the worse diesels of all time. But you’re the exception. The fact that you have one in your big mud truck surprises me.
I know more people with high power 6.0s than any other diesel motor out there.
@@Ole_CornPop That’s interesting. Most of the guys I see that race any kind of performance diesels (track, mud, snow and hill climb) are using Cummins. Duramax is starting to become more popular though. In stock class though, they run whatever they can get.
They are cheap and really do hold up when built right!! I love em. Duramax is still my favorite. Just too expensive

that thing sounds like its a wiped out lifter......hopefully just a bent pushrod or broken rocker
…..or you could watch it inevitably pop..and put something like a turbo’d 7.3idi motor in
think a 4x4 jimmy would work if you put lrger axles suspension and axles nder it , could even put a junkyard ls and trans in it at a later date and have a light and powerfull vehicle that you can trailer to an event on a reasonable size trailer or flatbed truck
might be fun to do a youtube budget build like that with a low income weekend warrier type guy in mind , could even put in a diesel
my guess is the more work youre willing to do to the machine the cheaper you can make it , junkyard body without a registration junkyard driveline and motor and a lot of welding might get you running a verry usefull bogger in the 1500 dollar range with cash left over for a trailer and winch
unless youre planning on bringing a lot of friends it should be enough to have fun in the mudhole (might get laughned at though because the thing is so small )

from wat i understood it caused by the blue book valeu wish gotten messed up when a rental company that sells of a lot of used cars became the owner of blue book and messed with the prices to get a higher sellingprice on their old stock
over here a old car (got a 2003 myself) sels for about 100 to 500 dollar (you can find those daily ) with about 200 dollars worth in repairs (worn stuff or maintanance left for new owner like brakepads shocks tires wiperblades filters oil broken bodyparts etc) and because we dont drive as mush as people in the states the body and interiourusually wears out long before the engine or transmission does

omg i’ve got a square body 8 inch springs sitting on 42 inch brand new boggers 700 hp big block built turbo 350 on 1tons 456 gears fully caged for 4500 nobody wants real bog trucks anymore they want plush interior AC there’s no fun in all that I finally pulled the motor and transmission out to put in my street truck. Somebody wanna buy a roller just put in your own big block. It’ll be ready to go 2500 he’ll come get it. I’ll take 2000 it’s a real unit.

come on, I’m not a Ford guy butisn’t the 6.0 the one that if you have low oil pressure the injectors don’t fire properly and it starts missing and then once it’s too low, it won’t even crank because it needs oil pressure for the injectors to work.
