Always knew the Corries existed but never listened to their music.... Having spent all day listening to The Corries i have spent most of the day in tears with mixed feelings of anger(at the English system) and love for this fantastic energy.
Ball Sack, the English System they speak of is ages old. I won't claim that the situation is perfect today, but it is far from the horrible slavery Scotland was subjected to by English kings long ago. For that we should be thankful.
It is the British system. Scotland was an equal partner in the creation of the Union in the first place, so even though many Scots were not happy about it, they still cannot put all the blame on England. What you can do is, next time you get a chance to vote, bloody vote to leave the Union this time.
