One flaw with the coffin punching machine is that it always hit the same spot. That area broke after the first hit, so the next step would be either expanding the tear, or putting another one in somewhere else to eventually create an opening.
Nope it just wont work! even if the used the right material Ply wood! and it was 8mm thick so half what they did! Plus you couldnt did your way out you would suffocate there anyway! wouldnt even get out box if you could make the hole instantly big enuff! Such a spacious coffin! LOL

The most effective DIY armor probably would but: 1. Thin layer of FT95. not thicker then 1cm 2. Tile plate 3. Thin bag of corn starch, same thickness as the FT95 The reason the starch failed so hard in adams test is just that the impact power is too strong so the starch does not absorb the energy but gets so rigid that the bullet just brakes through. With the FT95 up front that takes out quite a bit of energy and the tile mate behind that not only takes out more energy but also distributes the remaining energy on a bigger surface before the bullet would actually hit the starch, the starch gets harder but stays fluid so when the bullet enters, it does not immediately max harden the starch. That's practically the same tech that's used in actual armor. Hard but brittle top layer that breaks the speed, hard but fractured middle layer that breaks the speed even more and distributes the energy on a wider surface and soft tissue layer that catches the bullet. The above one is pretty much a DIY bullet proof kevlar vest with ceramic inlay plates ^^
i mean "most effective DIY armor" heavily depends on what you have around. If you work in a welding shop and have plate steel around thats probably pretty decent if youre in a library it might be books idk Point being you really have to set the parameters better here for that comparison to be viable
